'Community Accountancy' was drafted into book form to help people better to understand TrueValueMetrics (TVM) and the way it works.
The separate chapters of the book may be downloaded as PDF files. The individual sections of each chapter may be viewed as separate webpages.
OVERVIEW
INTRODUCTION to Community Accountancy
Modern money accounting is used in corporate business decision making, and money based measures like Gross Domestic Product (GDP) are used to guide economic policy management. No meaningful measures are used to optimize economic performance that improves quality of life, especially for those at the Bottom of the Pyramid (BoP) that are perhaps a total of 4.5 billion people worldwide! True Value Metrics (TVM) is a system with much of the rigor of accountancy, but about value as well as money ... and a possible 'game changer' for performance measurement!
