INTRODUCTION
TPB Note: When I was young growing up, I heard a lot about Twickenham, Lords, Wembley Stadium and so on because they were all locations ... infrastructure ... where major sporting events took place ... in my case rugby, cricket and soccer.
Later when I was doing a lot of work in Africa on international development assistance and humanitaian assistance work I ofter heard reference to the 'China Stadium' because the coun try had been the beneficiary of a new big soccer stadium funded (and built) by the Chinese. When it comes to the arts and music and museums I grew up learning about the iconic galleries and concert halls and museums that have been established in cities around the world to enable these dimensions of a good life to have a home.
