About People |
Annie Leonard is an interesting analysis of the economic dynamic of 'stuff'. She makes a lot of sense. Growth is not a solution to the global economic crisis, but is rather, a major component of the problem. If you do not have enough 'stuff' to satisfy basic needs, more stuff is a good thing, but when a decent quality of life has been achieved, more 'stuff' no longer has any value. TVM is an initiative about metrics that works well with this concept. |
The Colbert Report ... Annie Leonard The collection of presentations made by Anne Leonard in connection with the stupidity of stuff ... or the deep misrepresentation of the real dynamic of modern economics ... is very encouraging.
