Uploaded by actionforhappiness on Feb 3, 2011 In January 2011, Action for Happiness partnered with the BBC to run a week-long 'Happiness Challenge'. In Part 1 the Happiness Challenge is introduced and we meet some of the participants for the first time. We brought together an interesting mix of unsuspecting volunteers in Scarborough - including a bin man, butcher, artist, belly dancer, shop worker, marine biologist and retired couple. We asked them to try out a few simple daily actions that could potentially increase their happiness, based on findings from the latest scientific research.
