Barbados

I thought it would be interesting to have this in the Barbados section ... but it expired after a few days! ... and then later I found it on YouTube

COMMENTARY
I have had a problem with mainstream media news for a very long time. The specific issue is that a jountalist breaks an important story, and it gets good coverage for a few days, but then it becomes an old story and disappears. The issue existed before it was discovered by the media, and the issue continues to exist after the media returns to ignoring the story. In other words, the media is only doing a very small part of what needs to be done to solve problems in society and the economy.

A part of the TrueValueMetrics framework is, like business accounting, to track issues all the time. Most of the time they are not a action issue because they are within reasonable limits behavior, but when they move to unacceptable then the system cuts in. All of this being independent of the newsworthy criteria of the modenr mainstream media.

Many of the issues based NGOs are doing this already in their own area of interest, where area as in issue, or area as in place.
