NY assemblyman Richard Gottfried supports OWS

Town hall meeting on Nov 21, at the JCC.

I had just introduced myself as an NYC taxpayer, and an Occupier. I asked the collected elected representatives to stand up against police brutality. They didn't actually answer the question, but NY State Assemblyman Richard Gottfried was brave enough to support us publicly.

Later, a little old lady asked the official to introduce legislation banning the use of pepper spray. She was completely ignored. This is what Democracy looks like?
