The world’s largest model railway is absolutely amazing [Video]

MINIATUR WUNDERLAND HAMBURG

One of the first stories I wrote back when I worked as a small town newspaper reporter was the local railway show that was held every year, but it doesn’t come close to the amazing world created at the Miniatur Wunderland Hamburg.

This is the world’s largest model railway that not only includes working railways from around the world but also a working model airport and cities in miniature that come alive as you explore. It takes over 260 people working full time operating custom built software to keep over a thousand trains, aircraft, cars and ships moving.

I was literally awe struck as I watched the official video and I am pretty sure you will be as well.
