Peter Burgess - Slippery slope ... #OWS is a bit like Pearl Harbor, it did not win the war for the Japanese, it merely woke a sleeping giant. In the case of #OWS the actions over the past three months have stirred the evil 1% to set in motion the actions that will protect their interests. In the case of the Arab Awakening the actions over the past year have started something that the world's evil leadership cannot tolerate.

There is something very wrong when the 99% are losing to a 1%. It never happens in sport unless the game is rigged ... and, of course, this is exactly what the 1% have achieved. The socio-economic progress of the last century has started to be reversed ... we are on a dangerous slippery slope and likely to get worse not better. Collapse this comment 8:15 PM - Edit
