COMMENTARY
I watched Bishop Packard and others climb over the fence surrounding the Trinity property at Duarte Park. Shortly afterwards the gate was broken down and more protesters entered together with the police. They arrested a good number of people ... about 30 was the number I heard in the crowd.

The issue of 'occupying' private property is not clear just as the issue of using public property to protest is not clear. The authorities may not want the protests nor do they want the occupation of private or public property, but when justice is not being done, what alternative is there to civil disobedience.

While I do not have the 'guts' to get arrested. maybe in ways that are quite violent ... I have considerable respect for those that are prepared to protest in this way and suffer the consequences ... considerably more respect than I have for those that choose to look the other way and do nothing.
