Fortune Picks Yunus as One of 12 Greatest Entrepreneurs

COMMENTARY
I have made the following comment on this article ... it may not be accepted by the moderators!

I have followed the initiatives of Professor Yunus for a long time and have been impressed by his commitment to what worked in practice rather than any slavery to the conventional academic and business constructs where these were failing to serve the needs of society. For myself I argue that money profit accounting is insufficient as a metric of socio-economic performance and something better is needed that embraces social value add as well as money profit ... and has community rather than organization as the primary reporting entity. I am encouraged that Professor Yunus has called for something like this in his writings.

Dr. Yunus is one of very few people who have built a substantial sustainable organization doing valueadd activities for people and society ... almost every big organization created by the general capitalist investor community is making profit not wirh valueadd for society but with dangerous unsustainable valuerdestruction. The whole system of money profit metrics ignores all the value flow elements, and reports only on economic transactions that involve a money component. Thank you Dr. Yunus for what you have done and continue to do.
