COMMENTARY
This presentation is typical of much of popular economic analysis ... enough that is right to make it credible, but wrong because of a serious lack of understanding about what economic activity is meant to be doing.

The world has great technoogy, but rather little of this is used to produce the goods and services that we need.

Rather little of the world's people are engaged in producing the goods and services that are needed, but rather the people and capital that is available are being used only to make profit.

The problem is not political as always sugested by commentators, but is much more becausae the decision makers are only interested in productivity for capital rather than aiming to improve quality of life using available technology.
