Burgess COMMENTARY
This is rather 'summary' in its form and content, but it does show something of the difference in background that each of the Justices have at this time.
I am hopeful that the new Justice Jackson will make a positive difference and be able to reverse the default to ysterday that has been something of the hallmark of the conservative justices appointed by Republican Presidents in recent years.
I should also note that I am appalled by Leader McConnell's threat to block any future nominatons by President Biden if there are any without hearings. The cost of McConnell to the future of a true democracy in the USA is hard to assess ... but it is scary !!!!!!!
