Data has little value unless it is delivered in a timely way to the people who are the decision makers and those that influence policy!

• But management is about making sure there is success;
• What went wrong?
• Maybe it was that Napoleon got the facts too late;
• Maybe he was never told the right information.
• This is more or less the situation that McNamara had to face in the Vietnam War debacle!.
• Lesson here is simple ... good data on time really does matter!
