My view is that Biden was about 10 times better than Ryan in terms of substance that matters. The Romney Ryan talking points might work for the Republican base but to a thinking world they are nothing but dangerous fluff. On the other hand the Obama Biden track record on meaningful efforts to stabilize a global economy and a hateful world has been pretty solid. Secretary of State Hilary Clinton has been masterful in balancing the US engagement internationally and in the debate Biden got all of this in play very well. Ryan merely confirmed that Romney Ryan have a formula to return us all to a world that is long gone and good riddance. We should not forget what the Bush / Cheney / Rumsfeld / Rice / Paulson team delivered including the international interventions... easy to start, tough to end... and a financial sector implosion that was delivering more than 700,000 job losses a moth four years ago!

US Vice President Joe Biden and his Republican opponent Paul Ryan faced off in Danville, Kentucky for their first and only debate Thursday night. While the candidates talked foreign policy, economics and social issues, many online were quick to point out moments of humour both before and during the debate.
