Perseus Books Group (Headquarters) 250 West 57th St. 15th Floor New York, NY 10107 (212) 340-8100 General Inquiries: Vanguard Press 250 West 57th St. 15th Floor New York, NY 10107 (212) 340-8100 General Inquiries Westview Press 2465 Central Avenue Boulder, CO 80301 (303) 444-3541 For Prospective Authors The Westview Press editorial staff would be happy to consider proposals for books which are appropriate for course adoption in college and university classrooms— including topical books, edited volumes, anthologies/readers, and textbooks. Westview's primary market is undergraduate courses; some of our books also have a market in graduate or high school level courses. For this reason, almost all of our authors are academics who are actively teaching at an institution of higher learning in the United States, with only rare exceptions. Westview does not publish scholarly monographs or books intended primarily for general readers. For this reason, a crucial part of a book proposal is the description of the course market, and how the proposed book compares and contrasts with books currently used in that course. For our guidelines for submitting a proposal, click [HERE]. Please read them carefully and adhere to their suggestions. Submit proposals to westview.bookproposal@perseusbooks.com. Please note that, due to the volume of submissions, we cannot respond to every proposal. If your proposal fits Westview's publishing needs, we will contact you to discuss the next steps in the process. Thank you for considering Westview Press as a possible publisher for your work.
