I specialise in working with businesses in the TV and media industries. Working with CEOs, boards and senior management, I help owners understand the blocks to growth in their businesses, develop and implement the right strategies and embrace the change required to achieve the rapid, sustainable and profitable growth they want. Typical engagements involve helping clients build long term b2b and b2c relationships; expanding their businesses into new markets; reducing customer acquisition costs; building loyal customer bases; creating and leveraging a team culture and structure; and improving revenue and profit performance. Before joining Shirlaws, my early career was spent in Government and corporate communications and as a TV researcher. I went on to join one of the UK’s top PR agencies where I built and led a team servicing corporate clients in the financial services, technology, publishing and retail sectors. In 1999 I set up and ran my own PR company with my former employer servicing the corporate sports sponsorship market. After exit, I joined Shirlaws in 2007 to combine that business experience with Shirlaws' world-leading IP and coaching methodology. I now lead a team of business coaches based in London and the Thames Valley. My time is split between working with clients in London and closer to home in Oxfordshire and the Thames Valley. I live with my wife and two children on the edge of the Cotswolds and love spending time with them enjoying the countryside.
