Thanks ... and a bit of Dear Paul Thanks for connecting. I think I share some of your experience, notably having worked in a lot of different places around the world. This experience has made me very optimistic in large part because so many people seem to be just OK nice people who are willing to work hard to make something of themselves and their families. As a practical matter, the global socio-economic system (not to mention politics) has not done very much to make their lives easier. But this can change. I would like a radical reform of business and socio-economic metrics to be a part of the process. I argue that if we change the way the game is scored, we change the way the game is played. I have developed what I call Multi Dimension Impact Accounting (MDIA). I think I have the data architecture fairly well nailed down. Now the challenge is to get it to sit on top of technology that is 21st century and accessible with a click (sorry ... swipe) of a smart phone!
