Conference Looks at 'Hospital of Tomorrow' U.S. News & World Report: Hospital of Tomorrow (right-click to copy direct link) WASHINGTON, DC Monday, November 4, 2013 Hospital executives and health care industry experts gathered in Washington, D.C., this week to take part in the first annual U.S. News & World Report Hospital of Tomorrow Forum. Speakers and moderators provided plenty to discuss at the conference's 20 break-out sessions, during which public policy, medicine, and data experts offered their insights into the challenges that hospitals will face in the future. U.S. News & World Report Editor and Chief Content Officer Brian Kelly welcomed attendees and sponsors before Cleveland Clinic CEO Toby Cosgrove delivered a keynote speech about the issues hospitals are dealing with today. Cosgrove was followed by a panel discussion about the changing face of hospitals and health care, where Former U.S. Senate Majority Leader Dr. Bill Frist, Fidelity Investments Executive Vice president Brad Kimler, President and CEO of Texas Medical Center Dr. Robert C. Robbins, and former U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Donna Shalala joined moderator Cas Roads, the chief research officer of the Advisory Board Company onstage.
