As a consultant, I have assisted regulatory authorities of the Sultanate of Oman, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro, and telecoms operators in Croatia, Macedonia and Slovenia. I have been active as regulation and policy advisor, drafter and lecturer in the areas including data protection, communications- and internet law, having offered assistance inter alia to the Presidency of the European Union Council of Ministers, Slovenian Ministry of Justice, and both public and private bodies in the Caribbean. I have co-written several textbooks on law and regulation, published articles in UK law magazines and given lectures as guest lecturer at Queen Mary, University of London, University of Ljubljana and Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Brazil. In 2010 I founded Aphaia, a consultancy dealing with telecommunications, internet, data protection, environmental and energy policy and regulation. With Aphaia, my policy research included a variety of areas, including policy and regulatory design for the future communications industry, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable cocoa and coffee sourcing.
