Hi folks
At a conflict assessment workshop in Kaduna ealier in the year, one of the participants suggested that we should go beyond mapping conflict risk, and also make sure to map peace agents in Nigeria to better close that loop between risk and response.
In response to that, just in time for the holidays, we have upgraded our web map to include both sides of the equation.

Here's some tips to better use the various features of the map:
If you want to search specific states, uncheck the 'Nigeria' filter.
I've also attached a powerpoint presentation I gave recently that might help people know how to use the tool better.

I am delighted to see this initiative ... I think you are on to something by putting a focus on using IT to connect People for Piece (P4P).
I have hoped to see something like this happen, though my focus was more on the socio-economic situation in places everywhere. I argued that there are all sorts of places that are in almost perpetual economic crisis, and that we should be using IT to bring some focus on to this issue.
Well done. Maybe we could communicate in more detail in the early New Year.
