failed to find any good events this month except the one on jan 30 - that is the one that runs to quite late in the evening out of udc - I know the organisers very well and can get more details early next week
the idea of the meeting is to launch a series of speakers that also build the social business competition at the end of the trem that up to 25 coleges will be attending
the main speaker on jan 30 will be my mate chris king who is a black american launching conscious capitalism chapter in dc with very much a hbu connecting perspective- he also is in middle of end to end diaspora club model an practices such as crowdfunding
clearly we want to maximize links between dc and atlanta around black youth as well as other networks
I can try and get some collaboration cafes to happen just before the real meeting

ps I also heard from spencer out of blue last night- something about having a senior contact who wants to do microcredit in Haiti- I said that between us we could suggest who's who; are you still in touch with ann hastoigs new York connector
who's up for jan 30 evening events at university of district of columbia

to King, Steve, Ross, Brian, cbelchamber, Scott, Anna, Adella, me
King fixed this up at end of last year ; but the organizer Sylvia Benatti only definitely heard that she has got full funding for the social competition at the end of the term p0 the reason why udc will be staging a whole term of events
this is a good opportunity not only to explain what conscious capitalism, end to end diaspora networks, benefit corp partners and kings other black community development interests wants to offer to students but what any of our networks wants to linkin - those who I know are coming I can try and make sure Sylvia knows connections between (of course if you already know Sylvia then please do it direct as suits you)
as some you may know anna's project presented at udc last year was way the most connected project I can recall a student presenting in recent years =she has a facilitation skill of mapping networks that could unite around their number 1 cause that relatively few have, and which I have an awful feeling most edu actually block students from doing
