Delivering integrated technical and social solutions

EIFAB Solution Ltd offer a sustainable human-eco-carbon-agro-forestry-farming business platform where land & project owners, finance & investors, brokers & traders, technology & engineers, consultants & project developers, producers & retailers, service and equipment providers can meet under the roof of EIFAB Solutions Limited, offering joint operational and technical services to international 'green business and socio-ecological' needs and demands . All in the hands of a highly skilled team of professional project developers, finance controllers, engineers, technicians sales and marketing personnel, adding a worldwide professional network of service providers to cover every and any part of our client's needs.

Every project involving project finance and investments will be developed to deliver medium to long term profit targets even if an early exit strategy might be available, a profit built on the principle of long term sustainability, delivering quality products and services with high market revenues. Products and services such as renewable energy, infrastructure with drinking water supply and road concessions , forestry management including conservation and reforestation/afforestation, lumber and tree farming, ecological agriculture and silvopastural land use, biotechnology including production of biomass, bio oils and a variation of bio fuels, mineral extraction, mining and other nonfood products and production.

This unique eco-social and agro-forestry business platform will be one of a kind in Europe and most likely the world, delivering high revenues, sustainability and social reforms by earning money from its four cornerstone philosophy and the strategy of the 5 capital sectors. With the support of the fast growing and important corporate social responsibility investment market, favor rising green technology and renewable energy projects, adding the fast growing ecological agriculture and wide forestry sector with a strong social profile.

EIFAB with its clearly defined social and infrastructure services included in every project is definitely needed in every tropical and subtropical country or region on this planet, as a first start in our development. The target is to provide jobs for thousands of local people by caring for the environment, developing local production and logistics of a variation of food and non-food products, to educate the local population in sustainable production and eco tourism, to provide an educational and health strategy to improve life quality and stating a respect for the indigenous peoples rights and need for support and protection.

The platform will evidently be used to visualize all the 5 capitals, where the Natural Capital and Human Capital is as important to every project as the Financial Capital and Manufacturing Capital is, EIFAB has built this into a strategy of sustainable fair-share profits and social gains. The Social Capital is what life is about and the reason to bring all these 5 Capitals together, capitals we must develop further by having a sound and ethical approach towards delivering positive socio-financial results. Without this both poor and rich will lose and the nature will pay a price none of us can afford or be able to live with.

EIFAB Solutions binds all these resources together by delivering a cradle-to-end user strategy, securing all products and services produced, directly competing in the defined market, all offered over a sustainable green business platform where profits are to be achieved. Every project EIFAB becomes a part of will have its unique strategy developed out of all the mentioned values, all projects will be individually designed where the needs and targets are always the same.

Adaptation - facing the realities

Most ecosystems will suffer from the current and foreseeable climate change that can be observed in all continents. Important consequences are the change in the size of species’ habitats, the extinction of species, the vulnerability of ecosystems to plagues and the increase of intensity and frequency of plagues. Also the productivity might increase in some areas due to higher atmospheric CO2 concentrations and higher and more favourable temperatures.

In forest policy and forest management, the foreseeable effects of climatic change need to be taken into account, causing more than lost biodiversity. Changes we must avoid by every means; loss of biodiversity will decrease the nature’s production of biomass, bio fuel, bio oil producing plants and trees if insects are not around and birds can not keep the insect growth under control. Migrating or extinct species of animals, birds, reptiles and insects will lower local food production, cause deceases and forcing us all into an adaptation spiral we do not want, even leading to a war escalating the problems even further.

There is still a large knowledge gap about impacts and necessary measures. Impacts are extremely site-specific. It is already evident that one of the required measures is to interconnect large natural areas, in order to facilitate the shift of species and enabling them to migrate to suitable habitats, this is already too late for extinct species. For remaining species there might not be suitable habitats available for migration at all, a situation we can change through our multi source agro-forestry strategy, and provide a more productive habitat than earlier lost.

In principle, the same should be true for human migration due to climate change, but the political consequences are expected to be dramatic, whatever our political leaning, adaptation must only be part of the solution. The fast-growing population of Bangladesh will not have room within the country’s boundaries to provide enough food or drinking water, with the on-going salinization of groundwater and coastal flooding this can really become catastrophic. International political solutions will have to be found for small island states when the sea level continues to rise at today’s speed, which will be inundated within the next decades.

On a human level, adaptation has to do with increasing resilience. Coastal urbanization, concentration of populations in low-lying areas, and the occupation of arable space by uncontrolled urban spread lead to vulnerability against catastrophic events, be they climate-related or not. Water, food, and energy management are key elements of resilience. Information of changes in infrastructure allows the access to early warning systems and to exchange information on coping with extreme events. Urbanization processes can be limited by improving rural livelihoods and offering the opportunity for individuals to unfold their potential.

\ Deforestation and the emission

Terrestrial ecosystems play an important role in the global carbon cycle. The total carbon stock on land amounts to 2300 GtC (Gigaton Carbon). That is considerably higher than the amount of carbon in the atmosphere, which is about 750 GtC. There is an annual exchange of 120 GtC between the land and the atmosphere, through the processes photosynthesis, respiration and decay. The extra CO2 emissions that have been caused by humanity are 8 GtC. That seems a relative small amount, but since the Industrial Revolution that has already resulted in increase of 165 GtC in the atmosphere, which is an increase of 28%.

In the 1990s the carbon emissions as a result of land use change (mainly deforestation) amounted to 1.6 GtC per year. Altogether nearly 20% of worldwide anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases are being caused by deforestation and forest degradation. That is a very high percentage; for comparison: the emission caused by aviation is 2 – 3 %. Indonesia is the number three largest global emitter of greenhouse gases, not because of energy production and use, but because of the high domestic deforestation and drainage of peat lands.

Counteracting deforestation by paying for the stored carbon is being regarded as a cost-efficient approach to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions.

About EIFAB Protecting Mother Earth Only trees and plants can “sequester” CO2, only the nature can justify Carbon Offsets, offsets to play an important role in all REDD+ and poverty alleviation projects. EIFAB Solutions LTD is founded as a “Green Business & Eco-Engineering” company with the specialty of developing VER and VCU Carbon programs within a rainforest conservation projects as its core business. Forest Conservation programs, and especially Rainforest Conservation projects, will in longer terms be the most important Carbon Offset and VER Carbon Credit business, as no other projects includes the support of native people rights in these forests and no land will ever be bought from them. We will support actively the important work of securing the survival of all spices of animals, birds, reptiles and insects, combining “sustainable eco-farming and agro-forestry” activities to improve local human life quality and prove our dignity and respect for the indigenous population. The focus for EIFAB and our Eco-Engineering skills is to develop a broad range of Sustainable Green Business and services for our customers and clients in order to prevent and even reverse the adverse impacts of economic and industrial activities has on the planet. Through the rainforest trees leaves, of course also through all living trees and plants on land and under water, we have the photosynthesis, which sequesters and transforms the CO2 in to pure Oxygen. This is the only place in the nature where the “real carbon offsets” can be acknowledged and for this reason the only true Carbon Footprint, Carbon Offset or Carbon Credit can be justified out of this definition.
