Carbon Emissions versus Economic Activity ... from CDP

This set of data suggest that there is a 'value' in the range of $5,000 to $10,000 that is derived from the use of energy that in turn produces one ton of carbon dioxide emissions.

It should therefore come as no suprise that the various carbon control incentives that 'value' carbon emission in the range of $5 to $50 are having little or no impact.

The 'standard value' used for Multi Dimension Impact Accounting (MDIA) and VIAmetrics has chosen to value carbon emissions at 1,000. This is not $1,000, but merely a standard value of 1,000 value units (name yet to be determined).
