The Event Learn about and discuss Forum for the Future’s latest thinking on system innovation, collective action and building markets to surround disruptive innovations. Go through our diagnosis to identify your challenge and use our framework to road map your route to scale. Our global society faces complex, large-scale and urgent development and sustainability challenges. There are many organisations trying to tackle them, and there are plenty of great ideas and solutions out there; but collectively we’re still struggling to have positive impact at scale, and fast enough, to truly make a difference. Forum for the Future take a ‘system innovation’ approach to sustainability challenges. Disruptive innovation is a big part of this process, but Forum believes building a new system around this is of utmost importance. Without surrounding change in the market or context, the impact of an innovation is restricted. In partnership with Shell Foundation, Forum have been exploring methods for approaching the system surrounding an initiative and have developed a framework for collective action. We are keen to share our approach and discover how various organisations and individuals can apply this to their real problems and challenges. This session presents a great opportunity to discuss scaling up, share some new thinking and involve others in what we believe to be a very important conversation. The Presenters Anna Birney, Head of the System Innovation Lab at Forum for the Future Zahra Davidson, System Innovation Project Manager at Forum for the Future |
