What is Datamaran™?
Datamaran™ is a business intelligence system that spots new forms of regulatory and reputational risk. This is provided as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) to corporate users and consultancy firms via annual web-based subscriptions.
Which “big data” sources does Datamaran™ consider?
Datamaran™ scans the entire web to reduce subjectivity and enhance completeness. It looks at publicly available sources, such as corporate reports, websites, and social media platforms, to generate objective insights for corporate decision-makers.
How does Datamaran™ generate objective insights for corporate decision-makers?
Datamaran™ continuously crawls and mines big data to pull together what’s relevant for your company based on your specific profile: where you’re headquartered, the markets you service, your suppliers, and your stakeholders.
We simply let you know which issues exist, and how these relate to you.
Does eRevalue have its own materiality definition?
No. eRevalue does not prefer one materiality definition over another. What is material, important or relevant can differ per stakeholder: e.g. investors, employees, customers, suppliers etc. We will break it down for you.
Is Datamaran™ a reporting tool?
Yes and no. Datamaran™ informs corporate strategy. By understanding what matters most, your company can move towards a more focused strategy and, in turn, more robust disclosure.
Is Datamaran™ consistent with initiatives such as GRI, SASB, IIRC?
Yes. eRevalue is framework neutral; we go where the market goes. Datamaran™ provides an elevated view of the landscape and alerts you of relevant developments in real-time. Our team of experts can help you decide which frameworks to use for your reporting.
