Share Corporate Innovation for Impact: Unique Partnerships for Developing Markets Email Share Tweet Event Details Realizing that conventional CSR is not sufficient to tackle large-scale development problems, many corporations are now looking to extend their business lines by investing in unique partnerships with small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), particularly those with a socially driven mission to reach underserved urban and rural markets. Innovative partnerships by these corporations allows them to expand business opportunities while also creating impact, and allows SMEs unique pathways to scale their consumer reach. The collaborations can create platforms for both parties to enter new markets, create new products, and establish a foundation for sustainable impact and business growth. Approximately 4.5 billion low-income people globally represent an annual purchasing capacity of US$ 5 trillion (PPP), with India, East Africa and South East Asia accounting for a sizable chunk of this market. Whereas corporations and large organizations are relatively new to these markets, but have deep pockets for experimentation and innovation, an increasing number of entrepreneurs build businesses that cater directly to this market opportunity. As firms seek new avenues for growth in these markets – strategies for tapping into “new and underserved” markets (both urban slums and rural areas) have been on the radar of almost every major corporation. Join us for an evening exploring how effective partnerships between corporations and SMEs can scale impact across diverse emerging market segments, followed by drinks & networking. Event Schedule: Thursday, November 3rd 6:30pm - Doors open 7:00pm - Presentation/Panel begins 8:15pm - Q&A 8:30pm - Networking Speakers:
