William A. Schiemann
William A. Schiemann is Principal and CEO of Metrus Group, and founder of the Metrus Institute. He is known for his pioneering work in the creation of the People Equity (ACE) talent optimization framework, strategic performance metrics and scorecards, organizational alignment, employee engagement/fulfillment and strategic employee surveys that link people to business strategy and drive high performance.
He has consulted extensively with many major corporations on the development and implementation of business strategies, people and HR measurement, talent acquisition and retention, productivity and quality improvement, and creation of high performance cultures.
Bill is a thought leader, global speaker and author in the human resources field, having written scores of articles and multiple books in the human capital area, including his latest book, Fulfilled! Critical Choices: Work, Home, Life (Secant Publishing, 2016).
Bill has previously served on the Board of Directors of the HR Certification Institute and the SHRM Foundation, including Chairman of the Foundation in 2010. He has been named a Fellow and Scholar by the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

Valeria H. Schiemann
Valeria H. Schiemann is Principal and Vice President of Metrus Group, where she focuses on the development and implementation of measurement systems to support strategy execution and employee alignment in high-performance organizations.
She has extensive consulting experience, working with such corporations as Hewlett-Packard, Novartis and Takeda. Her notable work includes success efforts to grow talent for companies across Hawaii through oversight of the SHRM Hawaii Workplace Excellence program.
Prior to joining Metrus, Valeria spent over twenty years with AT&T, Bell Laboratories and Lucent Technologies.
Principal and VP of Diagnostics
Jerry H. Seibert
Jerry H. Seibert is Principal and Vice President of Diagnostic Services for Metrus Group. He has over 20 years of experience working with organizations to measure and improve customer, employee and other stakeholder perceptions. He has designed and implemented employee surveys for numerous organizations, ranging in scope from global entities to small privately held firms.
In addition to leading a wide range of client engagements, Jerry has led numerous research studies on the importance of internal customer value and its connection to business outcomes. He is co-author of Hidden Drivers of Success: Leveraging Employee Insights for Strategic Advantage (SHRM 2013) and has written extensively for peer reviewed and professional journals.
Prior to joining Metrus Group, Mr. Seibert was President of Parkside Group, an international healthcare customer and employee survey firm.

Douglas A. Klein
Doug has more than 25 years of thought leadership and global consulting experience in leadership and organizational assessment, employee engagement, values/culture assessment, employment branding, partnership-building and conflict resolution, internal and external customer satisfaction research, and human capital survey analytics. A true organizational survey historian, he has always been active in presenting and publishing his work, including co-authorship of The Enthusiastic Employee: How Companies Profit by Giving Workers What They Want, (2013), with David Sirota.
Doug is known for his innovative methods that motivate senior leaders to use information in strategic ways. He specializes in helping the c-suite uncover and overcome the obstacles to a highly engaged workforce and the misalignments that limit the successful execution of their strategic business plans.
Vice President Customer Value
Brian Rushevics
Brian serves as the Vice President of Customer Value for Metrus Group, consulting closely with prospects and clients to ensure their organizational effectiveness and talent management needs are met, with resources that deliver the greatest near-term value.
He has a solid understanding of organizational assessment and talent lifecycle solutions that cross multiple practice areas and stakeholder needs.
Prior to joining Metrus, Brian held senior level business development positions at Kenexa and Resource Consulting Group.
Director of Solutions
Susan Bershad
Susan Bershad is a Director in Metrus Group’s Solutions practice, focusing on designing and implementing measurable approaches to talent management, strategic alignment, human performance and capabilities, and service quality.
Ms. Bershad has deep consulting experience in many areas, including talent management, strategy development and scorecarding, change management, executive team development, employee surveys, and performance improvement. In particular, her work in developing data-driven solutions to close leadership and performance gaps, as well as her work with Johnson & Johnson's well-reputed Credo Survey, informs her consulting perspective.
Before joining Metrus Group, Ms. Bershad was the director of the Johnson & Johnson Consulting Group, where she built a team of 30 professionals known for providing strategic and operational consulting solutions to Johnson & Johnson companies around the globe.
Research Project Manager
Alexander Garcia
Alexander Garcia is Research Project Manager at Metrus Group. In his role at Metrus, Alex has worked on large-scale surveys for major financial, retail, and service organizations. He works directly with clients to help analyze and interpret survey results. He is also responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the survey process. These duties include development of project timelines, management of online survey administration, development and production of data reports, and supervision of data accuracy and integrity.
Alex holds an M.A. in Organizational Behavior from Farleigh Dickenson University and a B.A. in Economics from Drew University.
Principal Consultant, Strategy
John Lingle
John Lingle joined Metrus Group in 1989, and currently serves as Principal Consultant. He has been involved for two decades in organizational consulting both in the United States and overseas. Most recently, Dr. Lingle has focused his consulting efforts on helping organizations implement their critical strategies, primarily via the design and implementation of organizational performance measurement systems.
He has organizational development experience in a broad number of areas including: strategy formulation, executive decision-making, employee survey design and implementation, strategic performance management and measurement, team building and strategies for effecting organizational change and development.
He began his career as a Foreign Service officer working with the Peace Corps in Venezuela to develop assistance programs for government and private industry. Dr. Lingle also spent seven years on the Rutgers University faculty and has published multiple articles on decision-making and performance measurement systems. He is co-author of Bullseye! Hitting your strategic targets through high-impact measurement (Free Press 1999).
Director of Assessment Services
Brian Morgan
Brian serves as a Director of Assessment Services for Metrus Group, focusing on strategic uses of employee surveys to predict customer satisfaction, financial performance and other key business outcomes. He has over 25 years of experience in the design and implementation of employee surveys, strategic measurement systems, internal customer surveys, and employee/customer linkage studies.
As a result of his diagnostic work, companies have refocused their efforts to communicate mission and direction, developed performance management systems designed to link rewards to customer satisfaction improvement, implemented continuous improvement initiatives and expanded their use of cross-functional teams.
His work spans a wide spectrum of organizations in financial services, manufacturing, publishing, health care, telecommunications, information technology, government, higher education and utilities.
Dr. Morgan’s work has appeared in many business publications, including Harvard Business Review, Handbook of Business Strategy, and The Journal of Strategic Performance Measurement. His most recent book, Hidden Drivers of Success: Leveraging Employee Insights for Strategic Advantage, was published in April, 2013 (co-authored with W. Schiemann and J. Seibert).
Director of Research & Solutions
Carl Persing
Carl is the Director of Research and Solutions for Metrus Group, where his specialties include the creation and validation of assessments, measurement-focused strategic management, organizational transformation and development, leadership development and coaching. He is particularly interested in individual characteristics and how they impact the way people work with each other and contribute to the organization.
Prior to joining Metrus Group, he spent 7 years as an independent organizational consultant and professor/director of Industrial/ Organizational Psychology at Marywood University.
Among his contributions to the profession, Carl is active with the Society for Industrial/ Organizational Psychology, and has served as Past Chair of its Visibility Committee.
