Dear CPS Partner,

Since the Center for Partnership Studies’ founding in 1987, never has our work been so urgently needed as today. This is why I am turning to you with an urgent appeal to make a generous tax deductible year-end donation to support this essential work.

In reflecting on Thanksgiving, I thought of how grateful I am, as a former child refugee from Nazi Europe, to live in a nation with a strong commitment to freedom and equality. The Center for Partnership Studies is dedicated to strengthening these values through research, education, and practical tools for building a caring democracy and economy.

Because of your past donations, we have been doing the deep work of empowering change agents, thought leaders, and policy makers worldwide to change thinking and policies in a partnership direction. We must now intensify and amplify this work to prevent further regressions to domination systems.

I am proud to say that in 2016:
... Our articles on Huffington Post, websites, and social and other media brought attention to the economic benefits from policies that support caring for people and nature, not only in reducing poverty and inequality but also in promoting economic prosperity.
... Our webinars trained women and men from all over the USA and 17 other nations.
... Our Interdisciplinary Journal of Partnership Studies had 7,000 downloads of articles from all over the world.
... Our Caring and Connected Parenting Guide was used by the US Department of Health and Human Services and made available in Spanish online.
... The Real Wealth of Nations (the impetus for CPS's Caring Economy Campaign) was published in Italian and Spanish.
... I continued speaking about shifting from domination to partnership systems – last month in Monterrey, Mexico, to an audience of 4,000 on 'Caring Economics: What's Good for Women is Good for the World,' and was live-streamed to an additional 20,000.

CPS did all this in the 2016 climate of intense negativity, of degrading women, scapegoating minorities, ridiculing the disabled, and condoning violence. We urgently need your continued support at this critical time in history. We plan to expand our webinars, offer more scholarships, and develop a Social Wealth Economic Index, updating and condensing into one powerful number our existing Social Wealth Economic Indicators which, unlike GDP, demonstrate that caring for people and nature is the best investment a nation can make.

I am counting on you to make a generous tax deductible year-end donation to support this essential work. You can do so online or send your check to Center for Partnership Studies, PO Box 51936, Pacific Grove, California 93950 USA.

Another easy way to donate to CPS during the holiday season and beyond is by designating the Center for Partnership Studies as your charity of choice at www.smile.Amazon.com. A percentage of your purchase goes directly to CPS every time you make one.

I also hope you enjoy my recent interview on why empowering women, providing good care for children, and a healthier society and economy are integrally interconnected. Please pass it on to your friends and colleagues, and ask them to do the same.

I thank you in advance for your support, and wish you a wonderful holiday season from all of us at CPS.

Warmest regards,

Riane Eisler,
President, Center for Partnership Studies
