Stand With John Lewis!

Donald Trump attacked John Lewis, with a tweet that called him 'all talk, talk, talk -- no action or results.'

Rep. John Lewis is a civil rights icon and an American hero. Perhaps the single most revered member of Congress in either chamber and of either party, John Lewis is nothing if not a man of action … an original Freedom Rider who nearly sacrificed his own life when he was brutally beaten by Alabama state troopers marching across the Edmund Pettus Bridge on Bloody Sunday.

Trying to bully one of America's last living civil rights icons just before the Martin Luther King holiday is so beyond the pale, so fundamentally out of step with American values, that we ALL must speak up. Say you stand with John Lewis

I stand with John Lewis and denounce Donald Trump's attacks on this civil rights hero.

About 76% of voting age Americans did NOT vote for Donald J Trump and for good reason. He does not stand for much that makes life worth living and what makes America a country which has (up to now) bent in the direction of a more perfect union thanks to people like MLK and John Lewis and many others. He won the election because he was prepared to lie, advocate for hate, and build on all sorts of mean spirited actions. I am disgusted that DJT and his family will occupy the White House and scared that his simple stupidity will put all of us at huge risk.
