Burgess COMMENTARY
I am happy to have you in my professional network, and delighted that you are engaged with ACAUS. Back in the early 1980s, Angus McDowell, Sandy Needham, Roy Ashton and myself were in the middle of getting ACAUS started from our office at 1133 Avenue of the Americas. Over time we went our separate ways, with myself getting involved in issues related to international development and then the abject failure of the socio-enviro-economic system to deliver on what is possible. I argue for better metrics and accountability for everything, not merely issues that interest investors. My background in engineering and economics (Cambridge) and accountancy (Cooper Brothers London) gives me a solid basis for doing something with metrics that can help make the world a better place.
