Great program BUT ... while I understand everything that is being said in the video there is a sad and dangerous reality that does not get talked about. This program aims to make the participants do better at the work they are doing, and will probably do this ... but what is the work they are doing. In fact the work that efficient companies have been doing for decades has ended up giving us a world where owners and senior executives have become very very wealthy, and ordinary people in work or not have seen their standard of living go down. The growth of inequality is now an existential crisis, and coupled with climate change is going to cause (already has caused) all sorts of stress, and is only going to get worse. I argue that places like Oxford and Cambridge (I went to Cambridge) ought to be thinking through and teaching the sort of courses that will help the socio-enviro-economic system become more socially just and environmentally sustainable! How do leaders face the uniquely complex challenges presented by planning and delivering major programmes? The MSc in Major Programme Management helps you develop the understanding, ability and confidence to address these challenges and manage programmes the scale of which can transform a company, a city, or even a country.

Designed for senior executives who may well have already undertaken a number of project management courses, this part-time programme awards a masters degree from the University of Oxford whilst allowing you to study alongside full-time employment. Rigorous, selective and intellectually challenging this part-time programme consists of eight themed courses of four days each studied in person at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

The residential courses at Oxford are complemented by reading, assignments and a dissertation to be completed from wherever in the world you are currently working and living, with the full MSc lasting two years.
