INVITATION: Join the Community of Practice - Global Platform for the New York Declaration on Forests

The Global Platform for the New York Declaration on Forests (NYDF Global Platform) is pleased to invite you to join our online Community of Practice. You are receiving this email as a special invitation to join the NYDF Community of Practice before the official launch and we hope that you can help us by generating discussions and providing feedback to facilitate the launch of this online community. Click here to join and create your profile.

The NYDF Global Platform was launched in September 2017 and is convened by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in partnership with Meridian Institute and Climate Advisers. The NYDF Global Platform is dedicated to supporting and accelerating achievement of the ten goals of the New York Declaration on Forests. This Community of Practice aims to provide an online, interactive space for discussions and resources in order to facilitate learning and collaboration on best practices, successes, and challenges in achieving the NYDF goals.

The community of practice will feature: Discussion threads related to topics that advance the achievement of the NYDF goals such as, deforestation free commodities; REDD+ and forest finance; governance; and restoration and reforestation Access to webinars which share best practices, case studies, discussions with experts, and engagement with NYDF endorsers Resources such as articles and best practices related to achieving the NYDF goals Opportunities for engagement with the NYDF at meetings and events We welcome any feedback you have.
