TRUMP GOES NUCLEAR AFTER REPORT HIS SON ENTERTAINED ILLEGAL CAMPAIGN AID The president did not refute the story.

Donald Trump flew into a frenzy online Sunday morning after The New York Times published what appears to be a bombshell: the president’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., didn’t just meet with Russians promising dirt on Hillary Clinton. In a separate, previously unreported meeting, Trump Jr. also met with an Israeli social media specialist, an emissary for two Arab princes, and a private military contractor offering potentially illegal data services to the Trump campaign:

Erik Prince, the private security contractor and the former head of Blackwater, arranged the meeting, which took place on Aug. 3, 2016. The emissary, George Nader, told Donald Trump Jr. that the princes who led Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates were eager to help his father win election as president. The social media specialist, Joel Zamel, extolled his company’s ability to give an edge to a political campaign; by that time, the firm had already drawn up a multimillion-dollar proposal for a social media manipulation effort to help elect Mr. Trump.

The company, which employed several Israeli former intelligence officers, specialized in collecting information and shaping opinion through social media.

It is not clear whether anything came of the meeting. But according to the Times, “Donald Trump Jr. responded approvingly ... and after those initial offers of help, Mr. Nader was quickly embraced as a close ally by Trump campaign advisers—meeting frequently with Jared Kushner, Mr. Trump’s son-in-law, and Michael T. Flynn, who became the president’s first national security adviser.” Later, Nader allegedly paid Zamel as much as $2 million.

The president did not refute the story, instead launching into a prolonged Twitter rant directed at the Times, the Democrats, and the Clinton campaign.

Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump Things are really getting ridiculous. The Failing and Crooked (but not as Crooked as Hillary Clinton) @nytimes has done a long & boring story indicating that the World’s most expensive Witch Hunt has found nothing on Russia & me so now they are looking at the rest of the World! 9:04 AM - May 20, 2018 81.4K 39.6K people are talking about this Twitter Ads info and privacy

It went on:

....At what point does this soon to be $20,000,000 Witch Hunt, composed of 13 Angry and Heavily Conflicted Democrats and two people who have worked for Obama for 8 years, STOP! They have found no Collussion with Russia, No Obstruction, but they aren’t looking at the corruption... ...in the Hillary Clinton Campaign where she deleted 33,000 Emails, got $145,000,000 while Secretary of State, paid McCabes wife $700,000 (and got off the FBI hook along with Terry M) and so much more. Republicans and real Americans should start getting tough on this Scam.

Now that the Witch Hunt has given up on Russia and is looking at the rest of the World, they should easily be able to take it into the Mid-Term Elections where they can put some hurt on the Republican Party. Don’t worry about Dems FISA Abuse, missing Emails or Fraudulent Dossier!

What ever happened to the Server, at the center of so much Corruption, that the Democratic National Committee REFUSED to hand over to the hard charging (except in the case of Democrats) FBI? They broke into homes & offices early in the morning, but were afraid to take the Server? ....and why hasn’t the Podesta brother been charged and arrested, like others, after being forced to close down his very large and successful firm? Is it because he is a VERY well connected Democrat working in the Swamp of Washington, D.C.?

It is, of course, illegal for any foreign person or government to provide any kind of assistance to a U.S. political campaign. A lawyer for the president’s son dismissed the revelations in a statement to The New York Times. “Prior to the 2016 election, Donald Trump Jr. recalls a meeting with Erik Prince, George Nader and another individual who may be Joel Zamel,” attorney Alan Futerfas said. “They pitched Mr. Trump Jr. on a social media platform or marketing strategy. He was not interested and that was the end of it.” A lawyer for Zamel insisted that he never had any involvement with the campaign. A lawyer for Nader told the Times that Nader is currently cooperating with Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation, which has reportedly expanded to include inquiries into the Trump campaign’s ties to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Watch Now: Everyone Who Has Left The Trump Administration (So Far)

The Trump campaign did employ an outside firm to handle much of its social-media strategy. It has since been revealed that the U.K.-based firm, Cambridge Analytica, siphoned off personal user behavior from hundreds of thousands of unsuspecting Facebook users. The news prompted a massive public relations crisis for Facebook and triggered congressional hearings, during which lawmakers castigated Facebook’s chief executive officer. (Cambridge Analytica declared bankruptcy this week.)
