Part of this failure is that I cannot describe myself any more as a spring chicken and I don't understand the cutting edge of technology as well as I might have done in times past. Part is because multi-purpose tools never seem to do the job that you really want them to do. Whenever I look at a business / economic / social / environmental situation I use the basic concepts of TVM ... but have not got to the stage when I can feed in some data and out comes a meaningful solution.
Four things I am working on at the moment go from socio-enviro-economic planning for a homeless initiative in New York City, an initiative to establish win-win-win economic drivers for depressed urban settings and the application of TVM thinking to the Green New Deal ... micro, mini and macro applications.
These efforts might get me to the point where a 'tool' emerges. These efforts might also help me to understand more about the best way to do 'numbering' so that better decisions get made and the needle(s) move in the right direction.
There is more and more interest in this field ... but 'me' remains much more important than '[we' in most of the important decisions that impact the socio-enviro-economic system.
I hope something useful will emerge from my efforts sooner rather than later.
At this point in history, you might be further ahead in developing this thinking than I am ... but to the extent that my efforts are in any way helpful ... that is gratifying.
