To Help Australia, Look to Aboriginal Fire Management
When I saw the Australian bushfires dominating the news cycle, I wondered how Aboriginal people were being affected by them—and if this all could have been avoided if their relationship with the land hadn’t been disrupted by colonization. We can’t change what’s happened, but we can still look to Aboriginal fire management as a sustainable solution moving forward.
