Corporate Financial Innovation & Impact Investing 2-day Executive Ed Course Tuesday - Wednesday, May 19 at 8:00 am - May 20 at 5:00 PM EDT

Are you considering Impact Investing as a philanthropic and/or investment strategy for your organization?

This first of its kind Corporate Strategics & Impact Investing course was developed by Impact Finance Center, a multi-university nonprofit academic center that identifies, trains, and activates philanthropists and investors to become impact investors.

The course will cover impact investing strategy, process, governance, and investment efficiency through a new framework for evaluating both philanthropy and investing. Expert presentations and guidance will teach both impact investing and how to integrate it throughout your company.

The learning format uses a case method, leveraging examples of successful impact investing strategies deployed by a diverse range of corporations, including: Patagonia Tin Shed Ventures Internal Fund, Clif Bar White Road Investments External Fund, Closed Loop Fund and Closed Loop Ventures Commingled Funds, Starbucks’ use of a green bond to upgrade its supply chain, and Wells Fargo’s and Nike’s use of an accelerator.

Whether you work at a corporate foundation or manage a corporate social responsibility program, marketing department, and/or innovation team, this 14-hour course is designed for you to learn by doing to better understand all available opportunities that can empower you to do well by doing good, simultaneously increasing revenue, decreasing costs, improving brand, and reducing risk.

About Impact Finance Center:

Impact Finance Center is a multi-university nonprofit academic center that identifies, trains, and activates philanthropists and investors to become impact investors. IFC serves as an accelerator for asset owners such as corporate strategics.

“Watching Stephanie map an overview of the diverse strategies and creative possibilities for moving money towards positive impact was by far the best, most action packed, cogent, eye opening presentation and overview of the field that i have ever experienced.” Joel Solomon, Author - Clean Money

“It’s super rare to get world class portfolio advice from someone who doesn’t have their hand in your pocket. It’s rarer to get a whole new framework for thinking about donations and philanthropic work. Rarest of all is a combination of clear next steps and a challenge to take action. Stephanie Gripne and John O’Halloran of Impact Finance Center deliver a trifecta.” — John Kauffman
