I am curious what you all think about the essential metrics for management that embraces social impact, environmental impact and economic impact. Conventional financial metrics are so old fashioned and out of date?

I like the idea of continium from good NGO not for profit to high profit for-profit ... but why don't we have a continuum of metrics so that we have common performance profile ... ???

Why did the world let taxation of profit performance and high earnings drop from around 90% 60 years ago to say 30% today. There is a lot of money in the world ... most of it doing not much of true value !!!!!!!!!!
