Hi Liam ... I am not sure whether your agenda and mine are on the same page but it is worth exploring.
Technology has been an amazing driver of productivity and profit over the past 50 years (and arguably over the past 200 years) but in my view there is a systemic dysfunction in the modern socio-enviro-economic system that has been ignored in recent times.
Technology is very very productive and has been invested in at scale to generate profit, while much less investment has been used to improve quality of life for everyone and to mitigate damage to the environment.
Some work that I did a couple of years back had me hopeful that blockchain technology might be an opening to more responsible investing, but in fact it seemed to migrate to the same old same old modalities.
Maybe I am wrong, but I sense that financial profit and wealth remain more important than quality of life and a sustainable world.
Maybe I am wrong ... but I worry that I am right ...
