The following are the items that Verizon needs to fix:

The number 570 202 1739 to be in the name of Peter Burgess. I have been associated with this number for several years and do not want it changed.   

Peter Burgess home address is 204 Seaham Court, Bushkill PA, 18324

Reference to Philippa Burgess (my daughter) whose home is in Colorado, needs to be removed.

The monthly Verizon bill for service will be paid from an account under the name Thomas Peter Burgess

I want to get a full explanation of why it was that the upgrade from an older Verizon phone to a the new Verizon phone required my duaughter to be involved at all. Please note that the older Verizon phone had been in use (and paid for monthly) for several years ... and before that I was paying Verizon for several more years.

Please also note that I have been angry at Verizon for a very long time because there is no cell phone connectivity at all at my home at 204 Seaham Court, Bushkill PA 18324 since cell towers were first installed. Several years ago Verizon supplied me with an 'Internet Extender' that served as a work-around ... but this stopped working about 2 years ago. I made several attempts to communicate with Verizon to fix this, (via the Verizon store on Route 611) but with absolutely no satisfaction.

To the extent that my daughter had to be involved because of some 'credit' query in the Verizon process, I would like to know exactly what issues got to be in play. It is likely that the algoroithms being used are unfit for purpose and do not handle my situation correctly:
  • Do I have a mortgage? NO ... my wife and I own the house at 204 Seaham Court, Bushkill PA free and clear. We also maintain a rental apartment in Manhattan.
  • Do I have bank loans? NO
  • DO I have credit cards? NO ... I do have a bank issued Debit Card for payment convenience.
  • What is my employment? ... I am 81 years old and therefore 'post career'. In this role I continue to be active in accountancy circles developing a system to enhance conventional financial accountancy to include social and environmental metrics. During my active career I did consulting work for the World Bank, the United Nations and others in over 50 countries around the world.
  • What is my income? Income in my name is quite modest ... primarily Social Security which in my case (independent of my wife) is quite sufficient for basic living expenses and services.
It is possible that some of the credit information services simply do not have enough 'spending' data about me ... which can be explained relatively easily based on my lifestyle as an intellectually active octagenarian.

I have made these notes in speed up resolution of the issues I now have with Verizon that need to be fixed.
