Burgess COMMENTARY
When I watch videos like this it makes me aware of the importance of the US freight rail systems in the supply chain and the US economy. The industry rarely gets into the national news becasuee for most of the time it runs at a huge scale and with rather few newsworthy incidents. I was a railroad buff and spotter in the UK when I was growing up. The modern big diesel electic locomotives are immensely powerful, though they do not have the romantic appeal of the old steam locomotives.
