Burgess COMMENTARY
The rapid expansion of remote learning and remote working generally as a result of the COVID pandemic has been spectacular.
One of the conclusions has to be that technology has more capacity to enable progress and productivity than people have the capacity to change and to embrace technological possibilities. Yje pandemic has forced rethinks in all sorts of educational and business activities that have changed little over decades and generations !!!!!!!!
It raises a lot of questions about what will be the new normal.
ZOOM has gained the most in the last two years and is now a serious player along with Microsoft and Cisco. That ZOOM will hold this high position into the future is unlikely given the immense marketing power of many of the other players, esp[ecially Microsoft.
