I am learning a lot about the way in which technology has evolved over the past few years ... and indeed, decades.
I have never been in the military. When I was at school I was in the CCF ... Combined Cadet Force, and when I was at university I was in the ROTC ... Royal Office Training Corps, but this was very amateur compared to the real thing. I got to do some 'cool' things, but was never near the 'tip of the spear'. Later in my work as a civilian I was in a number of conflict zones around the world, and remain a strong supporter of the need for an effective military while also being an advocate for less military intervention when the better approach is a lot more diplomatic and development intervention.
The 'Punisher Drone' seems like a powerful tool. I hope the Ukrainians are able to deploy it usefully and at scale soon.
