In some ways what is so remarkable about this story is that the media seems to have missed the emergence of this initiative of the Justice Department and the FBI for months and months. For me, it is further confirmation that the media has dropped the ball and is really not doing the job that is needed.
In order the have a healthy democracy, there is a need for a competent media ... and I am not at all sure that we have a competent media as this time in history.
