This is very sobering information. Sadly, it rings true.
I have wondered for some time about the integrity of the Ukrainian population and happy to push it to the back of my mind. Denis Davydov gives expression to his concerns about these matters. It was clear that before the Russian offensive and the emergence of Volodymyr Zelenskyy as an effective war leader that there was a dangerous level of corruption at high levels in Ukraine. While it has not been talked about since the Russian attack, it probably did not completely disappear.
This is a serious bad news story, that has me very concerned.
