Russia's Invasion of UKRAINE has caused Major Problems for the Russian Economy but it is now also causing them problems in the battlefield. Russia has been a long time Ally and Supporter of Armenia in its dispute with Azerbaijan over historic land. Azerbaijan has been receiving support from Turkey and recently decided to re-commence military action. Russia is currently fully occupied in Ukraine and did not offer financial or military support to Armenia and as a result Azerbaijan has taken control of the area.
