- I'll yield to anyone on this committee who disagrees that murder in schools is
- not murder I yield will will you yield oh I'll yield yes please you want to know why the shooter is dead in
- Nashville the trans shooter you want to know why because a good guy with a gun killed that woman she identified as a
- man she was mentally ill probably taking hormones and she went in and murdered
- children and adults in this Christian school in Nashville because you guys made it easy for people who don't
- deserve to have weapons who are mentally incapable of having weapons of war being able to buy those weapons and go into
- schools you know why you don't hunt with an AR-15 with a deer because there's nothing left and there's nothing left of
- these kids when people go into school and murder them while they're trying to
- read you guys are worried about banning books dead kids can't read you know when
- my Republican colleagues cozy up to neo-nazis and the proud boys and white
- supremacist groups Mr chairman Mr chairman I find that
- offensive that the gentleman would make a broad statement like that and I think
- that he should back that up with any individual but not a broad group that
- would be inappropriate for me and untrue that don't worry I'm getting to the part you'll like well I
- don't perhaps you are I find it offensive that you have used this forum no problem Donald Trump Donald Trump had
- dinner with a holocaust Den at his house you want you want more facts then use that sir sure no problem
- you look like a Smurf here just going around and all this stuff now listen Mr chairman you have I'm going to tell hold
- on if we're we're not on time disformation you have gone on TV and said the president did something illegal
- doing stuff with your brother the American people have the same question why should they believe you why should
- they why should they believe there's a different rule for the president there's a different rule for you why should they

- country suing the drug manufacturers the G the gun manufacturers saying that we are arming
- the cartel our us companies and so what's even better than
- that is the gun manufacturers in this lawsuit are saying they have immunity
- they have immunity in this lawsuit because my colleagues across the aisle have provided them immunity that they
- can't be sued we're with you on a bipartisan basis to try to stop fentanyl from coming in but can you be with us on
- a bipartisan basis that maybe maybe the gun manufacturer shouldn't have immunity
- to sell guns to make sure to have guns get in the hands of the cartel and let me do it another way I want to channel
- my inner Tim russer so let me go to the board right and I don't have Florida Florida but Donald Trump impeachments oh
- how many impeachments we got two there how many indictments we got four how many for Biden z z Donald Trump is right
- I'm he's sick of winning he's just winning running away with it and that's why we're here we're here because of
- meth that's what this is about they can't save Donald Trump they can't take away the two impeachments and the four
- indictments but they can try to put some numbers on the board for Joe Biden but the problem is when you sling mud you
- got to have mud and they just don't have anything Mr chairman so much misinformation was spread about covid-19
- in this country by President Trump one of the things I also think we should investigate is did the professionals not
- share the information they had with the president because they didn't trust the president because every single day he
- was going out saying this stuff or better going out and telling people they
- can drink bleach or they should just go out and put light in the body and we'll get rid of Co we need to know why
- president Trump who was in charge when Co happened he was in charge when Co got out of control why he didn't tell the
- American people the truth Donald Trump is in so much trouble and they can't save him but what they can do is they
- can spend taxpayer money and all the time while they control these hearings to convince the American people that
- somehow Joe Biden has done something wrong but there's no evidence none zero zilch NADA Zippo and you know how I know
- that because they couldn't even bring up their own impeachment they had a bury it in committee on immigration not on this
- topic right there are members of this committee that filed articles of impeachment didn't bring it up for a vote buried it in committee again not on
- this topic because there's no evidence on Joe Biden now switching over to hr1
- 1615 this amendment honors honors this amendment by also changing its name to
- make appliances great again many of you already have the hats and shirts and flags and boats so I figured we would just make it easy uh so that you could
- show uh your support uh for this amendment my second amendment uh would give gas stoves I think the honor that
- they deserves uh you know a stainless steel six burner double oven in Statuary
- Hall uh you know we have uh we have statues there that made are marble and bronze but we don't have anything of
- stainless steel and so I think this could be uh the first one when my Republican colleagues support a
- president of the United States who's having dinner with a holocaust denier at his house and they remain silent silence
- is complicity uh when there are Nazi when there are Nazis Mr sessions I would
- like my time Mr I'm sure I'm sure you'll get that back broad statements are
- inappropriate and are not worthy of this hearing I know you're in denial that he
- had dinner I I was unaware of it so for you to assume that was national news for
- like a week that that matters not what I'm trying to say Mr chairman is this hearing needs to stay very cordial and
- very much on the level and attacks like this or exactly why our country is going
- through what we're going through and there need to be there need to be a point of order actually in this there's no point of order I I call I called

- last night and you know we're working on the problem the virus it's a very tough situation I think he's going to handle

- he he's strong sharp powerful focused on leading the Counterattack to the Corona virus he feels they're doing very well

- even building hospitals in a matter of days great discipline in taking place in China president leads strongly in a very

- successful operation we're working closely with China to help I think China is very you know professionally run in a

- sense they've got everything under control I really believe they're going to have it under control very soon you

- know in April supposedly it's going to die with the hotter weather and that's a beautiful date to look for forward to

- but China I can tell you is working very hard we have very few people in this country with Co and you know what

- but I I would say to them that listen we this is a bipartisan effort on going
- after fentanyl we don't need to be convinced we don't need to be educated we know what's happening we've seen the
- numbers we know this is affecting um kids across across the
- country but we've heard a lot about the cartel doctor and so and the drug
- trafficking trade that's going on in Mexico and so I want to ask you a
- question doctor these cartels these drug traffickers in addition to the drugs
- that they're carrying do you know what else they like to carry it's not a trick question just yell it out when you know
- it guns they like to carry guns Dr gupa right that's what protects the cartel
- that's what protects the drug trade do you know where they get their guns do you know where the cartel the guys that
- they're talking about get their guns you know where they get their guns from illicit illegal purchases that's right
- un States and do you know where those illicit illegal purchases are happening and where where they're coming
- from largely from United States that's right according to us custom and border
- border control 200,000 guns pour over
- the border every year from the US to Mexico these weapons are being used to
- contribute to organized crime they're being used by the drug trade the cartel and
- 70% of all of the weapons the cartel is using are manufactured in the United

- the cartel we the United States are allowing the cartel to protect the
- illicit drug trade by allowing guns manufactured here to pour over the
- Border my colleagues across the aisle are very concerned about things coming in but they have no concern about
- weapons going out and so Mexico Mexico
- has even filed lawsuits against the gun manufacturers in fact just three days
- ago Mexico has asked the US appeals court to reinstate the1 billion lawsuit
- that they have against the gun manufacturers and the lawsuit specifically States and Mexico contends
- its 500,000 guns pouring over over the border every year but in that lawsuit Mexico says that the lawsuit against the
- cartels is specifically again the lawsuit that is against the drug
- manufacturers is specifically for facilitating the trafficking of weapons
- to the drug cartels can you be with us on a bipartisan basis that maybe maybe
- the gun manufacturer shouldn't have immunity to sell guns to make sure to
- have guns get in the hands of the cartel I understand you're not with us on wanting to prevent that in this country
- but maybe together we can be we can do it to make sure that our guns are at least not going to the drug
- cartels facilitating fentanyl from coming in I just I mean when when when are you
- guys going to wake up and realize that guns are a part of this equation I yield
