Turkey is in Deep Trouble as it is a NET IMPORTER of GAS, OIL, FOOD & COMMODITIES and the rise in Prices caused by the UKRAINE WAR has added to the Price & Currency Pressures. The TURKISH LIRA is now the WORST Preforming Currency and with an exchange rate of around 18 to 1 US Dollar purchases of OIL & GAS mean that the Turkish Central Bank is running Dangerously low on Currency. To make matters worse the Central Bank has been following a policy of Reducing Interest Rates at a time of High Inflation. In this video I look at what has been happening over the last 12 months for Interest Rates, Inflation, Without an injection of new currency the situation looks Dire for Turkey.
