  • well good evening everyone and welcome to an evening an historic night Donald
  • Trump is the first convicted felon ever to accept a major party's nomination the
  • first public official former official who had been impeached twice to accept a
  • major party nomination uh the former the first uh Heather the first official who
  • attempted a coup on the United States government a lot of Firsts uh to uh
  • accept a major party's nomination uh in any EV it uh 3 weeks ago Heather loft house and I were with you
  • at the debate many people thought you like that you liked the comfort of having some company uh in that what
  • turned out to be a fairly painful evening uh and you asked us to do it
  • again well this may be an equally painful if not more painful evening uh
  • but we thought it was an opportunity also to take a look uh with all of us uh
  • at Donald Trump uh what he represents what this convention has actually been
  • and thank you so much Heather loft house here we are for Jo for joining well I'm
  • glad to be here with you and everyone else who finds I don't know like you said Comfort watching it together but
  • here we are Republican National Convention 2024 what has struck you what themes or
  • what what what notables do you have for us well a number of uh you know just watching uh the Reverend Franklin Graham

  • 2:04
  • just now um I remember his father Billy Graham uh but Billy Graham became more
  • and more of an Evangelical he was a very close friend of Richard Nixon's uh and uh Billy Graham actually
  • left the political stage uh and left it to essentially his son Franklin Graham
  • uh Franklin Graham is an Evangelical uh and what strikes me is that there have been a lot of religious overtones and
  • undertones to this convention uh beginning with almost the spiritual
  • notion that Donald Trump was saved from uh the assassination attempt oh yeah
  • I've I would be willing to bet that God has been said more also the people who
  • are playing music have played for churches it felt very much like a an Evangelical experience at the beginning
  • I think the music that he walked on with that first night and by the way the fact that he's been there every night you

  • 3:06
  • know well it's been he has been there every night and um this is really a way
  • of getting attention because a lot of people want to see him Y and there's
  • nothing else that goes on at this convention at most conventions nothing else happens uh but given the proximity
  • in time to the assassination and given the extraordinary sense uh that some people
  • have particularly Republicans that he is a martyr somehow uh that God he was saved that he was saved uh and he was
  • saved for this purpose uh this convention has made the most of that it without actually well they've they've
  • said it over and over again yeah they really have every all the different people who are speaking right entertainers politicians new politicians
  • old politicians media personalities it's wild I mean I feel like the whole
  • convention has been camera on speaker camera on Trump taking in speaker camera

  • 4:03
  • on speaker camera on Trump I mean just back and forth and then some crowd shots of people with hats and lanyards and
  • cowbells and then a little JD Vance and little JD Vance beard I know I'll tell you the other
  • thing speaking of JD Vance that has struck me is there is a quality of
  • misogynist in this in this convention misogyny uh you know not only do we have
  • a president uh a former president who appointed a supreme court that got
  • rid of roie Wade uh and is very proud of it but also we have JD Vance who has
  • said he is against abortion for of under any circumstances even for rape or
  • incest uh and uh it's interesting to me we didn't we haven't heard at this
  • convention very much about abortion but certainly it's a macho convention we see
  • over and over again I mean uh you know uh the Hulk right there I mean talking

  • 5:03
  • about men and talking about Macho themes brother and brother uh this is this is
  • not a convention that is designed particularly for attracting women you don't or including women it's really not
  • it's been fascinating who who they've chosen to have speak and yeah the tones
  • I mean it's been incredible but this is your point when we met before and talked about this um this is not a policy event
  • this is not let's pick the top the people who really nailed it in my Administration and bring them back and
  • it'll be a mix of men and women and we'll talk about policy I mean he doesn't want to talk about his
  • administration uh in fact he's he's called a former president but actually
  • there is a kind of Indulgence in Collective Amnesia about what happened there's no mention obviously of January
  • 6th y of people who were involved in January 6th uh now it is true that at
  • least one person involved indirectly in January 6 who said he would not testify

  • 6:04
  • and was jailed for it came into the convention and got a huge Ovation so the
  • undercurrent is there but no mention of what happened on January 6 no and even
  • Hulk Hogan tonight when he spoke he said the last four years and then this past weekend it's like they're resetting the
  • clock it's a it's it's a fascinating Indulgence um you know no mention of the
  • fact that uh that Donald Trump tried to overturn the election results uh no
  • mention of the fact that Donald Trump uh you know put up false slates of electors uh that he encouraged people to come to
  • Washington for that Riot uh that he refused and still refuses to accept the 2020 election results uh that he that
  • all of the people all of the JD Vance one of them who said who would not
  • accept the 2020 election results on the basis of no information on the basis of
  • no evidence that there was anything wrong with that election and anything in futur looking is just imag it's making

  • 7:07
  • America great I mean it's at this level there is no project 2025 what I'd actually be doing for the working people
  • there's no there there yeah uh I mean I I think that this is uh the sort of the extreme exercise in conventions that are
  • just not even in info infotainment uh they are just infomercial MH uh but
  • there is nothing there's no there there right uh Eric Trump who's now speaking
  • uh Eric Trump is is one of these people who has you know he has said that any
  • woman who is worries about harassment sexual harassment is just not living in
  • the real world she ought to be I think that was Don junr a a kindergarten teacher yeah I think that was Don junor
  • well Don junor said something pick your Trump yeah uh yeah no it's horrendous
  • and I think you're so right about the mass one other thing that you I think you

  • 8:02
  • just touched on is this I think there's a lot of hypocrisy so we're not talking about January 6 when people like Nikki
  • Haley who spoke the other day said this man cannot run the country full stop around January 6 was it mentioned T
  • nights ago no it is as though the past doesn't exist well JD Vance himself was
  • extremely anti- Trump initially uh and in fact Peter teal uh the financier the
  • uh you know who who put money into the campaign in in Ohio that got him elected
  • JD Vance uh took Vance to meet Trump to
  • apologize to make sure that Trump understood that Vance had had a change of heart change of view but tell me how
  • do these people I'm interested in what you think about how these people justify to
  • themselves Heather they hypocrisy oh I know I mean what is it

  • 9:03
  • what is it that they say to I mean Nikki Haley uh and JD Vance for example when
  • they have been so critical of trump in the past I know do they say well this is the the means justify the ends or the
  • ends justify the means or I if I get back in politics or I'm in politics I have power I can do good things well so
  • do they have a conscience I mean do you think actually when they're falling asleep at night they say oh God feels
  • had to do it I mean is there a reg are they registering or when they're brushing their teeth when they're
  • looking in the mirror are they saying de diary or dear diary you know I feel awful about myself so either they're so
  • cynical right that's one option or this is how politics works today and I just
  • I've got to get the paycheck I've got to be famous I've got to do the thing this is and I'm just going to do it or I like
  • ends justify the means perhaps they think with all this power that I will
  • get from doing this and saluting then I will be able to do good things down the line I mean that would be best case but

  • 10:03
  • I don't know if that's the but they are participating in a hoax that is
  • undermining our democracy and they are going back on what they said they are going back on a truth and living in an
  • alternate reality while applauding him and smiling and staring into a camera
  • and this entire convention is a plug for this alternative reality it's not in
  • other words the Press plays it up as if this is well this is the Republican vention and there will be a democratic
  • convention and both parties do this and this is part of the political system but
  • it's not any longer I mean after January 6th after Trump's rejection of the 2020
  • election after the big lie after everything that Trump has done this this
  • cannot this coronation of trump is not just an ordinary convention uh this is
  • something that is extraordinary uh and under in a very fundamental way the entire

  • 11:03
  • American political system it's disgusting now follow the money is something you've said over the years yes
  • I have a qu I mean how much is this thing costing first of all because I mean I can only imagine and then also
  • it's been interesting to listen to different people talk about money right I know you were saying that Wall Street
  • was mentioned twice by JD Vance yes JD Vance interestingly uh he said that wall
  • he's not from Wall Street he doesn't we are not we are not any longer of Wall Street we being the Republican Party
  • presumably uh we are for working people working man working man clear working
  • man not working women U but what he didn't say is that he got his start uh
  • in finance with Peter teal in San Francisco in Venture Capital uh that his
  • big support has come from Elon Musk Elon Musk is sing got talk about that by the

  • 12:01
  • way $45 million a month into Trump's campaign Elon Musk 45 million I mean if
  • there was ever a poster child for why we have got to tax billionaires mean why we
  • can't let people become billionaires and have monopolies like Elon Musk has uh
  • it's it's this money and politics it's the it's the purchasing of politics uh and Elon Musk was one of the people who
  • went to Trump and said you have got to make JD Vance your vice president now
  • why is that they're all from the same PayPal Mafia uh they go back years JD
  • Vance worked for the same people yeah H but so he's
  • making a distinction then right Wall Street is different than new newvo well Wall Street he says I mean it's it's a
  • distinction without a difference right because I mean venture capital is not literally Wall Street venture capital in
  • San Francisco is more Silicon Valley than it is Wall Street but these are billionaires and they are people who are

  • 13:06
  • polluting our political system and they're people who uh many of them are
  • doing good things but many of them are doing terrible things yep it's so much money we've tried to visualize it in
  • different ways for people but it's difficult to show how much money a billion dollars is because you can't even fathom it well at a time in
  • American history when the typical worker earns a typical working family earns
  • $75,000 a year uh and has not in adjusted for inflation has not earned that much more
  • than that typical working family earned 40 years ago so much of the economy so
  • much of the gains that have not gone to working people have gone to the top they've gone to venture capital they've
  • gone to Silicon Valley they've gone to Wall Street CEOs and CEO pay and uh and
  • to private Equity uh and this is the reality that so many people intuitively

  • 14:04
  • understand this is why they're so angry at the system Heather but the Democrats instead of becoming economic populists
  • and saying look we can't have this any longer this is wrong this is ruining our
  • democracy uh the Democrats are drinking at the same trough as the Republicans in terms of campaign finance and they've
  • usurped the message this week in a compelling way I mean well look at the
  • the the head of the teamsters is is the leadoff speech at the Republican National Convention I just want a time
  • check so it's 7 o'clock yes so you and I are getting ready to do commentary and factchecking I'm getting ready I'm ready
  • as I'm going to be but my expectations are fairly low I mean I think a Donald
  • Trump's speech is let's face it a Donald Trump speech now he's going to be reading from a monitor there's a
  • difference between a Donald Trump speech when he reads from Monitor and when he doesn't but the big question in my mind

  • 15:00
  • is how much red meat is going to be in that monitor speech or is he going to
  • try to tone it down or is he going to try and tone it down and not actually do
  • that I mean it may be his his intention and his AIDS have told him to do that including to stay in line with this you
  • know recovering from a horrific assassination attempt well I think listen very very carefully because this
  • is given that it's the it's a monitor he's reading from the monitor given that
  • somebody has obviously written it now Trump may have looked it over but one of
  • his AIDS or a group of his AIDS have written it there is some strategy in mind oh for sure so what is that
  • strategy going to be uh I think it is going to be to deliver a strong anti-
  • Democratic Big D uh anti-biden anti Harris and I think we're going to hear a

  • 16:01
  • lot of anti-h Harris because uh they are worried that maybe Biden is not going to
  • stay in the race very much longer it's going to be it's going to be KLA Harris uh and there were going to there're going to be a lot of references to
  • they listen for how many times you hear the pronoun they yes undifferentiated
  • UNP specified but an horrible they who are trying to do what trying to
  • undermine the working class trying to ruin America trying to do this or that
  • uh and sometimes it'll apply to immigrants I'm sure in his sentences right but the what when they use they
  • yes they're talking about immigrants but they're also talking about the Deep state they're talking about Coastal
  • Elites and Democrats and then they'll do the working class play and the populism play and so it'll be perhaps there may
  • be a dog whistle or two uh in terms of black Americans they want to court black
  • Americans so there's not going to be very much but listen for those as well uh those are very carefully thought out

  • 17:06
  • in advance um anything else you are going to be listening for well I think
  • it's so interesting to think about his lies right so I was going back and forth with this um psychiatrist who was saying
  • from the on an email who emailed us you're psychiatrist share not yours I
  • know no but somebody he teaches at a medical school but we were talking about where he was saying the differ between
  • lies and untruths and how a child who's 3 years old
  • developmentally doesn't mean to lie because lying means I know that outside of my brain is someone else with a brain
  • and I'm going to try and deceive you you have to have a certain minimum degree of empathy yes to and self-awareness to be
  • to be upset about a lie and so I'm going to be looking for what I think are untruths because I think what Trump does
  • is he is the three-year-old when you say you can't have a cookie we're about to have dinner and then you come back and they have cookie all over their face and

  • 18:02
  • you say did you eat the cookie and they say I didn't eat the cookie and that's because at three you're true you're saying what you believe is true and then
  • when you say it it is true for you now now Heather that was true the debate yes that's unscripted uh when when Trump is
  • unscripted he just does nothing but kind of bloviate lies that's it but here
  • tonight we're going to get a scripted version well I think it'll be similar
  • well the the that's the interesting question what is the difference and does it make any difference that there was an
  • assassination attempt that'll be it'll be now he was going he's going to talk about that obviously right and but it's
  • is it going to modulate uh what would otherwise be some fairly uh awful
  • accusations about them out there I would think that if he has been coached it
  • should he should do that should do quote unquote he should modulate modulate well modulate for

  • 19:01
  • Donald Trump to modulate it'll be interesting to see what that actually means JD Vance was told to modulate he
  • was told to play Down um the fact that he doesn't like Trump play that down but also there was
  • a there was a kind of a sense with JD Vance that um there there ought to be um you know
  • very very little that uh that gets people uh upset or the very very little
  • red meat thrown at the crowd and I think JD Vance um was then accused by some
  • Republicans of being boring did you see that some of the reviews well uh and kind of traditional
  • and kind of traditional boring and traditional um but that's why Trump picked him I mean you can't have someone
  • rival him no that's right that's right and he knows to play his role I think he that he's got to be uh kind of Mike

  • 20:00
  • Pence type he's got to be very very uh kind of respectful and Fade Into the
  • woodwork when he needs to fade into the W woodwork but at the same time he's young enough he's 39 years old I know he
  • has a political future he knows he has a political future he is the presumptive Republican candidate in
  • 20128 I mean he has been in politics for basically just over a year right he was
  • elected in 2022 but he didn't start serving I don't think until 2023 I mean January of 2023 feels like a minute ago
  • it was less than a minute ago I mean he has no real experience uh what has he done he has
  • written a bestselling uh what Memoir which was optioned by Hollywood it was optioned by
  • Hollywood now that gives him some what Ronald Reagan Credence I mean honestly though I think it's like well you know
  • what's I mean Donald Trump was a businessman I'm a business guy I mean
  • it's obscene well I I I think that in many ways Donald Trump wanted a young

  • 21:06
  • person you see the the and this is something I'm going to look for and and
  • listen for in his speech because if he can frame the issue in the Public's mind
  • as strength versus weakness and that's something that Trump always tries to do
  • I am strong my opponent is weak uh and given that Joe Biden had a I mean let's face it I mean he
  • appeared three weeks ago tonight as extraordinarily weak at the debate at
  • the debate and Joe Biden now has covid and you know here we have um a a
  • president who looks in Acts 81 or older versus what Trump but also Vance A 39y
  • old two men uh and again the notion is strength yep and the other thing so

  • 22:01
  • we've talked about there's been a lot of mention of God there's been a lot of mention of maleness in various forms
  • right he came out to what song was it it's a man's world did you see that it's a that's right I mean come on but now
  • there's a lot about family too which also feels religious and I think JD
  • Vance said family and Grandpa I mean they don't really say grandpa too much because I don't think he loves that
  • concept but remember it's a family that is very traditional with the male is the
  • dominant figure in that family um and one thing that Vance has talked about in
  • the past uh is that the new economy has
  • disempowered uh men it you know a lot of men who used to have factory jobs used
  • to bring the major Breadwinners they now have to be in the service sector and
  • they are effectively uh kind of taking jobs that women used to have and women
  • are taking jobs that women have always had and in fact the old concept of the family that had a single bread winner

  • 23:06
  • has been replaced by a family with two Breadwinners and a lot of conservatives
  • and a lot of traditionalists oh yeah like JD vents hate this uh this is the and they're very worried for the male I
  • know archetype yes yes this is so I but there is some reality to this right this is psychology this is how someone feels
  • in on the home front whether you feel inse cure because you can't bring enough money in so I accept that but I mean
  • they are taking it way too far well this is one of the also the major
  • features of Neo fascism yes it is the male hierarchy uh in which the male
  • warrior and it is a male warrior uh takes precedence and is prominent and is
  • uh is is the most important person in a family and the most important people in a community
  • uh and we see the cave in the cave with the Tigers and the president and we have Trump and we have Vance the most

  • 24:05
  • important male members in the tribe and it is tribal it is a cult and it is
  • people are under a spell I mean it's kind of wild to watch these crowd shots
  • and these people just you know mouths a gape and cheering and they seem kind of
  • taken to a different place well it is also uh consistent with white Christian
  • nationalism uh you know the evangelicals uh the the numerous
  • mentions of God uh the notion that uh Trump has been saved for this role uh
  • and uh the uh the the the the undercurrent of racism uh and certainly
  • nationalism uh the other point that I was thinking about with both Vance and
  • Trump uh in terms of and again there are no policies here but to the extent that there are any policy even even sense of

  • 25:07
  • policy uh it's policy that has to do with isolationism uh it's uh tariffs that
  • will keep out foreign Goods y uh it is U walls that will keep out foreign workers
  • have you seen the signs Mass deportation now I mean throughout the arena well um
  • that's another thing we're going to hear I think tonight uh about immigrants uh there's also been there's
  • been quite a lot of discussion about immigrants but when we talk about them the other there's
  • Melania this is her first appearance wearing red shocker well I'm shocked well I mean the
  • traditional family she's making a late appearance interesting might at home a migrant also from Slovenia
  • mhm know well I I think that the contradictions and

  • 26:01
  • hypocrisies um people want not to see them if they are trumpers if they are
  • Republicans uh and if they are kind of being sucked into this Fox News Vortex
  • um you know a lot of people don't like ambiguity they don't like the responsibility they don't don't like the
  • anxieties of Modern Life and if they can have a strong man I mean that's the
  • whole that was musolini that was Hitler that was uh Frank the idea of a strong man who will take
  • from you all the responsibilities and all the anxieties you just give of yourself you give up your own valtion
  • you give up your agency and you let the strong man take over right but I think there's also the triangle right so it's
  • the strong man but then the other so the they is back to your point about this pronoun of just so it feels safer and
  • better to not live in the nuance and complexity and the torture of your own reality and your own anxieties if you
  • can say so it's not me I don't have much control over it's that over there you kind of park it over there and you have

  • 27:05
  • this momentary I think relaxation I consciously or unconsciously I think
  • that's part of this is this Tri Abol absolutely you're projecting a a lot of your anxieties onto this other quote
  • unquote and the strong man uh says to you in effect don't worry I'll take care
  • of the other yeah and we heard Hulk Hogan say they tried to get him on
  • Saturday they trying to get him yeah and that again is something I think when we
  • do hear Donald Trump speak tonight the they let's keep track of who the they
  • are yes how does he Define they right because that's you're absolutely right
  • uh the under current the under the under uh structure of this speech is
  • probably going to be very much about I am strong enough and now we have the Next Generation with regard to JD Vance

  • 28:05
  • we are strong enough to take on them uh the enemies of America the enemies of uh
  • of you all of of average working people yeah it's their fault over there not
  • yours and I'm going to save you I mean it's that it can be reduced that much right
  • exactly okay well here we go we've got away so we saw Melania which was interesting she hasn't been um but a lot
  • of the other family I don't know if Ivanka was there I saw Ivanka was there
  • okay no I oh yeah that's right I almost got the wrong parent um so I think so
  • here's what we'll do let's as soon as it starts I think what we can do is we can
  • press pause um and just quickly when there's an egregious something where we want to
  • comment just thinking back to how people processed our debate night so we'll do a quick pause and we'll say something and

  • 29:01
  • then we'll keep going but very quick but so we will do that and then I think
  • afterwards we will have some concluding analysis uh yes I just wanted to point
  • out this video was provided by the Republican National Committee this is the video that introduces Donald Trump
  • this is called free advertising uh and it uh it is part it has become part of
  • every convention uh but here they are lionizing Donald Trump they are making
  • him Larger than Life uh they are making him into somebody who is Invincible uh
  • and they are also by implication and sometimes directly uh talking about
  • Biden as being weak yep and I think they pick screenshots of him you know when he's mid sentence and then they say
  • there he is but so this is free airtime but the whole the the premise is that
  • it's for both parties get it so and you it's your choice to use it as you wish basically that's what's happened I mean

  • 30:06
  • remember the conventions no longer have any kind of a function I know a real
  • other than simply an infer there's no decision point I mean we kind of nothing there's nothing there there I mean you
  • hear you got the VP reveal but it was at the only news item well it'll be
  • interesting to see Heather if the Democrats actually decide to have an open convention or if there is any kind
  • of movement by any other potential Democratic candidates if Joe Biden
  • decides not to run uh and the pressure is obviously building on is I know um I
  • and more will be revealed in the coming days will be revealed I had a a sense today if Biden really wanted to step on
  • Donald Trump's speech and his uh coronation uh this would be a great day
  • to do it it would have say well I'm you know I have covid and I I my doctors do

  • 31:03
  • your press event in a mask you do your press event in a mask or now you do hard to be able to to pass the Baton in a I
  • know we'll have to see what he decides right also this notion that the other theme is
  • fighting uh keep fighting now the irony is they don't they don't want the the United States uh to be fighting or to be
  • even in a proxy war in Ukraine they don't want the United States to have a
  • robust foreign policy they don't want to support NATO uh but this notion of keep fighting who are they fighting they are
  • fighting the them they are fighting the they they are fighting these forces the
  • Enemy Within and that's what Trump has talked about over and over again the enemy within within the United States uh
  • you are either with Trump or you are an enemy Within right that's what we are
  • fighting fight fight fight now so many pollsters and pundits and all of us are

  • 32:02
  • talking about swing States who these undecided voters these persuadable
  • voters people who voted for Biden before and are now saying I'm not sure who I'm
  • going to vote for or I'm leading third party or you know what I might just pick Trump or I really don't know yet or I'm
  • going to leave The Talk at the top of the ticket blank is anyone like that actually watching the RNC uh yes
  • undoubtedly there are some and changing their minds and there are some who are changing their minds there are some who
  • are wavering uh part of the reason for this uh event this infomercial is to
  • attract those wavering voters uh some Independents some people who had voted
  • for Biden uh Last Time Around in 2020 but now are not sure uh they watch this
  • a few of them you don't need that many because remember uh if you had it's something in the order of 45,000 people

  • 33:00
  • in the swing States really went for Biden had they gone for Trump the entire
  • 2020 election would have been different yep uh and it's not that different in
  • 2016 uh there are fewer and fewer people because of the electoral college now
  • there's no question Heather that uh Biden won the popular vote by even more than Hillary Clinton won it uh but the
  • Electoral College makes the entire Democratic process
  • very different and makes these swing States hugely important important but I wonder I mean it's funny to think about
  • oh God here goes Kid Rock um it's funny to think about you know an undecided
  • person coming or you know someone who's in between things and watching this and
  • there's no policy so it almost feels like you want to be part of the click or what is it that is it the the you know
  • he's so viral compared to it's partly that you but leaving with I want to be part I want to

  • 34:00
  • be I want to I want it's the identity politics I want to be part of this movement yeah uh I want to wear the red
  • hat and have the paraphenalia and I want to be uh part of this uh this this
  • strong right group and also religion relig religio relig to bind yes right
  • the Latin absolutely I mean all of that makes sense it's like come join this religio to bind yeah I maybe I think
  • it's religio religio probably uh but yes so you combine that with a hats with the
  • um the rock stars uh and the Maga um you know all all of this the
  • influencers and the uh the the cult I mean this is where the notion of the cult comes in make America great once
  • again uh is is a meaningless term uh it it goes back to what when were we great
  • uh are we denying all of our embarrassing history are we denying the

  • 35:03
  • Vietnam War are we denying uh what we did to Native Americans are we denying what we did to black people we denying
  • slavery I mean where where are we going terms of making America great again when
  • exactly I think they're denying all of that right I mean obviously it's like the ultimate dog whistle is that
  • horrific well this see I think that's the membership that's the attraction uh
  • being part of a club or a a a religious like group that believes in this past U
  • fiction this this notion that we were once we were once great as opposed to them and we can be great again and they
  • are trying to destroy us and have tried to destroy the greatness of America so
  • that's one level and then I do think obviously a lot of people are thinking you know what my pocket book's been
  • hurting and I actually really feel that he would be better for me because I have amnesia or because you know I'm not

  • 36:04
  • paying attention to the data or because the mass media is not showing it in a way they should well the the media um
  • the mainstream media I think have all along the way have failed failed number
  • one to remind people of what the Trump Administration was like people again
  • there's a kind of a a fog that sets in and I'm guilty of it everybody is we we
  • we all tend to view the past through Rose Colored Glasses we tend to forget
  • how bad things were uh we don't we're built to do that otherwise we would be you know very depressed if we thought
  • about it's like when you have a baby and you say never again and then you're like maybe just one more time I mean
  • actually but yes yes and and it's it's also true with regard to um the media's
  • failure to talk about the Trump presidency again with regard to the big

  • 37:00
  • lie uh and the attack on the capital right uh and his attack on the Judiciary
  • um you know all of things that would in any other democratic system probably
  • disqualify somebody from running for president I have friends abroad who say I can't believe this man uh who is an
  • indicted or not indicted he was convicted a convicted criminal uh who orchestrated an attempted coup is is
  • you're allowing him to run again I know allowing encouraging um so I mean it's so
  • interesting so I think up next is the head of the UFC because when and doubt let's not have more politicians up there
  • let's have more CE Bros yeah CE Bros um but I was going to say I feel naive
  • sometimes I feel naive and I should have a sign that says naive I think that just this is one of my moments I thought that
  • the more Republicans would not fall in line around Trump this time

  • 38:06
  • around I really did I really did I mean I see Liz Cheney on Twitter I think is
  • she the only one at this point I mean it's wild there there's also Mitt Romney there are others they've all been purged
  • every single one of them has been purged from the Republican Party um here we
  • have uh the Ultimate Fighting Championship president now what do you mean misogyny I don't know what you're
  • talk what do you mean manliness Macho I mean this is this is ma this is another
  • Ultimate Fighting Championship I know I mean but so you remember that so when um
  • Trump first got on Twitter the first I mean excuse me Tik Tok the first video that blew up was him at a UFC fight and
  • everyone kind of chanting and lights and and that's it's this again it's this
  • same kind of they did that on purpose you know what I'm hoping video uh and and maybe this is naive talk about naive

  • 39:02
  • I'm hoping that the women of America overwhelmingly overwhelmingly vote
  • against Donald Trump I'm hoping too uh not only on abortion but on the entire
  • uh notion of hierarchy and male dominance and fighting and uh everything
  • that Trump represents you know Trump was found by a court to have raped a woman
  • Trump talks about uh you know his his exploits in terms of grabbing so
  • disparaging I know I mean this is this is this is a this is a man who has
  • no respect for women at all and never has yeah um and uh and maybe the women
  • of America have had enough I mean I think many of them have but we'll have to see did I just say men
  • many of them have no I mean we'll have to really truly we'll have to see I don't I mean I think you're right that a
  • lot of women and including on abortion alone will say this doesn't work for me

  • 40:04
  • I think it's just fascinating that they put up the last speaker before Donald Trump
  • is the Ultimate Fighting Championship president Dana White I mean what in the world is going on what are they trying
  • to communicate here it's pretty obvious there's no substance there's no substance and also the blind worship of
  • trump you know it's just I'm going to go up and I'm going to say he's incredible in America and he's a businessman it's I
  • mean I think they must get all the talking points right but it's also the blind warship of strength of dominance
  • of domineering of of people who can uh subjugate others I mean remember this is
  • working on many many subconscious levels uh and what they're doing is putting on
  • these these wrestlers and these Fighting Championships we're getting so psychological tonight well but this is
  • wasn't prepared this is this is Heather this is what this is all about uh been watching

  • 41:04
  • it this is what advertising is about we're working on the subconscious and The Reptilian Brain I know and getting
  • in there but it's so it's wild to be watching this it's wild okay so can you
  • can can I bother you to tell me when you went to conventions I went to the let's see the
  • first one I went to was the 198 8 democratic convention in Atlanta Georgia
  • who's there dakus that was dakus and uh then the next one was
  • 19 uh 96 okay uh and that was the convention
  • that nominated Bill Clinton again uh and then the third one are you interested in
  • this you you look like your eyes are glazing over why did I ask this question I don't know why
  • so who no but you've told me this so at at the 88 um convention didn't you see who was

  • 42:05
  • it Jesse Jackson that was 96 oh that was 96 what's that story that's a goodie
  • that was when uh I was just about to address uh a state delegation Jesse
  • Jackson had finished addressing them and he came and they were all cheering this
  • is remember this is a democratic convention and uh Jackson was coming down off the stage I
  • was coming up we passed on the stairway and he said to me he whispered to me he
  • said Dick Morris is toast oh right and I said well why is Dick Morris toast he
  • said he's been sucking toes oh I said what what and then I he just left and I
  • didn't have time to find out so I I had to address this delegation off of the dick moris sucking
  • toes in my head I mean but so politicians have always been dirt bags this is shocking um well let's put

  • 43:02
  • it this way I think to become a national politician to run for the president
  • presidency or to be close to a politician in terms of a dick Mars advisory role um if you're a man
  • especially uh not exclusively but I think especially if you're a man uh it brings out uh some
  • aspects of uh sort of of narcissism a kind of a male dominant
  • narcissism uh now Trump is coming on speaking of speaking of male dominant
  • narcissism yeah also the UFC CEO is a big Union Buster
  • yes and that's important to note um that um the um UFC fighters don't get healthc
  • care he uh or any other benefits I mean the again but they but they love the

  • 44:01
  • Working Man I thought we already established that about six speeches ago I know so and this is this is the this
  • is the gap discrepancy the gap between the reality and uh the truth they're
  • being I'm being sassy here but I don't know what else to do so um it's hard to take all of this but I'm glad to be here
  • with you have I said that I stand by it well I really I'm glad to be here with you too I'm I'm glad to be here with all
  • of you we are glad to be here with all of you uh and the reason we are here with all of you you not there in
  • Milwaukee but with you is because we feel that it's important for all of us
  • to hang together and to have some mutual support uh and to uh feel that we're not
  • alone that the the country's not gone crazy uh that actually there most of us
  • I think are Tethered to reality tether to reality and some values that make
  • sense I Know It uh you know that that social justice that equality that equal

  • 45:00
  • opportunity uh are are values that we believe in uh that uh the notion that
  • this country really is made up of people who care about the common good uh is
  • something that I believe uh and oh even though here we go
  • look at this now again the imagy he is a showman oh yeah uh this is all organized
  • around his imagery look at the lights I mean it really
  • is I mean it's a marquee it's the you know
  • Thea now is he going to begin it looks like he's going to begin speaking I think he's just taking it
  • in I think he's taking it in and he's allowing his he's allowing his music and
  • his crowd and his worshippers well unless he's having a
  • a time what's called a Biden moment you know he's very old he's 78 years old I

  • 46:03
  • mean somebody who's 78 years old cannot function terribly well says the 70 the
  • 78y old here we go Podium up is that the White House behind him that's the White
  • House wow what is this a prop fireman I can't tell what
  • that is huh the stage now it's all it's all
  • staged and this is all you know the crowd is going wild do you see those photographers on the stage are they
  • actually taking photos are they making him feel like they're taking photos they're making them feel like they're taking phot I I think what they are
  • doing is not only if it's possible oh that's horrible that I guess
  • that is the I see what they're doing I think that is the um firemen who died on
  • Saturday as part of the assassination attempt is that what that is supposed to be I don't
  • know well it's hard to tell but it is an elaborate Set uh that they've just

  • 47:03
  • revealed it's like a stage show it really is where the uh the the major actor comes out goes down again the cost
  • of this I can only imagine it'll be interesting when we watch the DNC together and compare and
  • contrast okay get ready everybody [Applause]
  • thank you very much thank you very very much
  • wow and thank you Dana thank you Kid Rock sometimes
  • referred to as Bob and thank you Lee right from the
  • beginning thank you very much what a talent what a beautiful beautiful song thank

  • 48:00
  • you friends delegates and fellow citizens I stand before you this evening
  • with a message of confidence strength and hope for months from now we will
  • have an incredible Victory and we will begin the four greatest years in the
  • history of our country
  • together we will launch a new era of safety prosperity and freedom for citizens of every race religion color
  • and Creed the Discord and Division in our society must be healed we must heal
  • it quickly that's our As Americans we are bound together by a single fate and
  • a shared Destiny We rise together or we fall
  • apart I am running to be president for all of America not half of America

  • 49:01
  • because there is no victory in winning for half of America you know listen to
  • this this is interesting so tonight with faith and devotion I proudly accept your
  • nomination for president of the United States thank you Trump has promised to
  • bring back this Muslim B right but all religions but so it's not exactly all
  • all religions here we go with the
  • lies but this is much more of a a message of unity oh yeah than he has
  • ever given before call a lot of thanking lot of [Music]
  • [Applause]
  • gratitude this is where it becomes thank you very much cult and we will do it

  • 50:01
  • right going to do it right I know what that means let me begin this evening by
  • expressing my gratitude to the American people for your outpouring of love and
  • support following the assassination attempt at my rally on
  • [Music]
  • Saturday as you already know the assassins bullet came within a quar of
  • an inch of taking my life so many people have asked me what
  • happened tell us what happened please and therefore I will tell you exactly
  • what happened and you'll never hear it from me a second time because it's actually too painful to
  • tell it was a warm beautiful day in the early evening in Butler Township in the
  • great Commonwealth of [Music]

  • 51:03
  • Pennsylvania music was loudly playing and the campaign was doing really well I
  • went to the stage and the crowd was cheering wildly everybody was happy I
  • began speaking very strongly powerfully and
  • happily because I was discussing the great job my Administration did on
  • immigration at the southern border we were very proud of
  • it first reference to immigration yep behind me and to the right was a
  • large screen that was displaying a chart of border crossings under my
  • leadership the numbers were absolutely amazing in order to see the
  • chart I started to like this turn to my

  • 52:04
  • right and was ready to begin a little bit further turn which
  • I'm very lucky I didn't do when I heard a loud whizzing sound and felt something
  • hit me really really hard on my right ear
  • I said to myself wow what was that it can only be a
  • bullet and moved my right hand to my ear brought it down my hand was covered with
  • blood just absolutely blood all over the place I immediately knew it was very
  • serious that we were under attack and in one movement proceeded to
  • drop to the ground bullets were continuing to
  • fly as very brave Secret Service agents rushed to the stage and they really did

  • 53:05
  • they rushed to the
  • stage these are great people at Great risk I will tell you and
  • pounced on top of me so that I would be protected
  • there was blood pouring everywhere and yet in a certain way I felt very safe
  • because I had God on my side I felt
  • that the amazing thing is that prior to the shot if I had had not moved my head
  • at that very last instant the Assassin's bullet would have perfectly hit its Mark

  • 54:05
  • and I would not be here tonight we would not be together the most incredible aspect of
  • what took place on that terrible evening in the fading sun was actually seen
  • later in almost all cases as you probably know and when even a single
  • bullet is fired just a single bullet and we had many bullets that were being
  • fired crowds Run for the exits or Stampede but not in this case it's very
  • unusual now why what's the point he's making there this massive crowd of tens of
  • thousands of people stood by and didn't move an inch in fact many of them bravely but
  • automatic stood up looking for where the sniper would be they knew immediately it was a

  • 55:01
  • sniper and then began pointing at him you can see that if you look at the group behind me that was just a small
  • group compared to what was in front nobody ran and by not stampeding many
  • lives were saved but that isn't the
  • reason that they didn't move the reason is that they knew I was in very serious
  • trouble they saw it they saw me go down they saw the blood and thought actually most did that
  • I was dead they knew it was a shot to the Head they saw the blood and there's
  • an interesting statistic the ears are the bloodiest part if something happens
  • with the ears they bleed more than any other part of the body for whatever reason the doctors told me that I said
  • why is there so much blood he said it's the ears they bleed more so we learned something but why are we talking as much

  • 56:02
  • about this in as much detail it's very hard for him to talk about they just this beautiful crowd they didn't want to
  • leave me they knew I was in trouble they didn't want to leave me because they adore him you can see that love wor all
  • over their faces incredible people they're not
  • Traders they're incredible people bullets were flying over us yet I felt
  • serene but now the Secret Service agents were putting themselves in Peril they were in
  • very dangerous territory bullets were flying right over them missing them by a very small amount of
  • inches and then it all stopped our secret service
  • sniper from a much greater distance and with only one bullet
  • used took the Assassin's life took took him

  • 57:03
  • out I'm not supposed to be here tonight not supposed to be here Trump and have
  • made it easier for mentally ill people to buy guns by removing mental illness
  • from background checks Heather oh there were a lot of mass shootings under Trump
  • America suffered more than 1,700 mass shootings we're not talking about that part obviously thank
  • you but I'm not and I'll tell you I stand before you in this Arena
  • only by the grace of almighty
  • God in watching the reports over the last few days many people say it was a a
  • providential moment probably was when I Rose surrounded by Secret

  • 58:03
  • Service the crowd was confused because they thought I was dead and there was
  • great great sorrow I could see that on their faces as I looked out they didn't know I was looking out
  • they thought it was over but I could see it and I wanted to do something to let
  • him know I was okay I raised my right arm looked at the thousands and
  • thousands of people that were breathlessly waiting and started
  • shouting fight fight fight now why was
  • that logically what why did the fight fight fight follow from wanting to
  • reassure the crowd that he was okay once my clenched fist went up maybe logic
  • isn't part it was high into the air you've all seen that the crowd really
  • realized I was okay and roared with pride for our country like no crowd I

  • 59:03
  • have ever heard before I mean any assassination attempt
  • is horrendous and disgusting and but this rest of my life I will be grateful
  • for the love shown by that giant audience of Patriots that stood bravely
  • on that fateful evening in Pennsylvania tragically the shooter claimed the life
  • of one of our fellow Americans Corey comparator unbelievable person everybody
  • tells me
  • unbelievable and seriously wounded two other great warriors spoke to them
  • today David Dutch and James copenhaver who great
  • people I also spoke to all three families of these tremendous people our

  • 1:00:04
  • love and prayers are with them and always will be we're never going to forget them they came for a Great Rally
  • they were serious trumpsters I want to tell you they were serious trumpsters and still are but Corey unfortunately we
  • have to use the past tense he was incredible he was a highly respected former fire chief respected by everybody
  • was accompanied by his wife Helen incredible woman I spoke to her today
  • devastated and two precious daughters he lost his life selflessly acting as a
  • human shield to protect them from flying bullets he went right over the top of them and was
  • hit What a fine man he was

  • 1:01:03
  • [Applause]
  • oh please the NRA spent $30
  • million to elect Trump in 20166 million more in 2020 he is the
  • candidate of the National Rifle Association yes I want to thank the fire department
  • and the family for sending his helmet his outfit and uh it
  • was just something and they're going to do something very special when they get it but we did something which cannot
  • match what happened not even close but I am very proud to say that over the past few days we've raised $6.3

  • 1:02:05
  • million for the families of David James and Corey including from a friend
  • of mine just called up he sent me a check right here I just got it $1
  • million from Dan new thank you Dan
  • I don't think and again when speaking to the family I told them I said well I'm going to be sending you a lot of money
  • but it can't compensate they all said the same thing you're right sir we appreciate so much what you're doing but
  • nothing can take the place in the case of Corey and the other two by the way they were very very seriously injured
  • but now they're doing very well they're going to be okay they're going to be doing
  • the Warriors so now Warriors I ask that we observe a moment of silence in honor

  • 1:03:05
  • of our friend
  • Corey there is no great love than to lay down one's life for others this is the
  • spirit that forged America in her Darkest Hours and this is the love that
  • will lead America back to the summit of human achievement and greatness this is
  • what we need despite such a heinous attack we unite this evening more
  • determined than ever I am more determined than ever and so are you so is everybody in
  • more than determined ever to ban guns assault rifles no sorry that's not part of project

  • 1:04:01
  • 2025 thank you thank you very
  • much not too many black faces our resolve is unbroken and our purpose is
  • unchanged to deliver a government that serves the American people better than ever before nothing will stop me in this
  • Mission because our vision is righteous and our cause is pure no matter what
  • obstacle comes our way we will not break we will not Bend we will not back down
  • and I will never stop fighting for you your family and our magnificent
  • country never fighting against home is he back on teleprompter he's
  • back on teleprompter help and everything I have to give with all of the energy and fight in my heart

  • 1:05:02
  • and soul I pledge to our nation tonight thank you very much I pledge that to our
  • nation going to turn our nation around and we're going to do it very quickly thank
  • you this election should be about the issues facing our country and how to
  • make America successful safe free and great
  • again in an age when our politics too often divide us now is the time to
  • remember that we are all fellow citizens we are one nation under God indivisible
  • with liberty and justice for all hea this is the man who divided the nation more than any man any single person has
  • divided this nation and continues to on true social daily and we must not

  • 1:06:00
  • criminalize dissent or demonize political disagreement which is what's
  • been happening in our country lately at a level that nobody has ever seen before
  • because of you in that Spirit the Democrat Party should immediately stop weaponizing the justice system and
  • labeling their political opponent as an enemy of democracy you label opponents vermin
  • and promise Mass detention camps that is not true in fact I am the one saving
  • democracy for the people of our country
  • okay this we need a bigger sign a bigger a big lie B news as you probably just read
  • when one day a major ruling was handed down from a highly respected federal
  • judge in Florida she's not highly respected finding that the prosecutor
  • and the fake documents case against me were totally unconstitutional and the

  • 1:07:04
  • entire case was thrown out of court I've got to say the 11th Circuit Court of
  • Appeals has twice found that elen Cannon was wrong in delaying the trial twice
  • and then the third time she's done it once more she has a theory that it is
  • that you can't have a special prosecutor no we've had special prosecutors since ulyses S Grant in this country I know
  • ien publicity thrown out of
  • cour if Democrats want to unify our country they should drop these partisan
  • witch hunts which I have been going through for approximately eight years and they should do that without
  • delay and allow an election to proceed that is worthy of our people we're going to win it
  • anyway but worthy of our people Trump has PR on journey I am
  • deeply honored to be joined he' prosecute my amazing wife Melania
  • and Melania thank you very much you also did something really beautiful a letter
  • to America calling for National unity and it really took the Republican Party
  • by surprise I will tell you it was beautiful I haven't seen
  • it my dictator on day one is going to unify is that yes he's going to be
  • serious people said that we should take that letter and put it as part of the

  • 1:09:01
  • Republican platform that would be an honor wouldn't it there is no Republican platform Mr
  • Congressman but it captivated so many so I also want to thank my entire family
  • for being here Don Kimberly Ivanka and Jared Eric and Lara Tiffany and Michael
  • Baron we love our Baron
  • [Music] and of course my 10 wonderful
  • grandchildren you saw a few of them up there on my lap
  • before and how good was Dana was Dana good I me you know was he good he did
  • remember his kids names you know he was on probably the only vacation he's had in
  • about uh maybe ever cuz he works but about 10 years with his wife very far

  • 1:10:04
  • away I won't tell you where but very very far away beautiful place and my people called and he said I won't be
  • able to do it this is many many years I promised my wife I can't do it and they came in they said Dana won't be able to
  • do it CU he was my first second and third choice I said well you know that's too
  • bad but I I understand he's away and it's good it's good for him and that was
  • it about 30 minutes later she came back in sir Dana just called he's going to do
  • it and his wife she said you can't turn him down you just can't do it you have
  • to go that's a good wife o that's a good wife I don't like that okay that's an important tell
  • o so it's like a bad father got plan he got here a little while ago now is going
  • to get on the plane in a little while and he's going to go back home to his wife but they're great and I just want

  • 1:11:01
  • to thank her and him and their whole family CU that's not easy and Kid Rock same thing called he
  • said he said I want to be a part of it I want to be a part because you know
  • kid does his great song big big monster song I had no idea you know he became a friend of mine over the last 10 years
  • and uh he's amazing everyone loves him I didn't even know how big he was you know he has rallies 35 40,000 people he gets
  • every time he goes out I think he's making so much money he doesn't know what the hell to do with it you want to
  • [Applause] know and then we have my other friend and I've known him so long and we took
  • that song and it was a big success but we made that I saw a chart of great
  • songs to America that was number one on the chart recently number one
  • so that's Lee Greenwood very special beautiful person he's a beautiful

  • 1:12:03
  • man but they all wanted to be here they called and how about the hulkster how good was he is he this is an Ode To Men
  • owed to big strong men
  • boy and they're good little wives it's making upet they call it
  • they may call that entertainment I know about entertainment but when he used to lift a 350 pound man over his shoulders
  • and then bench press him two rows into the audience I said may be entertainment
  • but he is one strong son of a gun I going tell you I watch it many times there aren't a lot of entertainers that
  • can do that right you were fantastic thank you very much followed by Eric what was that all
  • about boy that was good I didn't want to really come up here oo but he was so great and he's

  • 1:13:02
  • such a good young man he went through a lot of trouble and Don last night was incredible they went through so much
  • trouble they got subpoenaed more than any people probably in the history of the United States every week they get
  • another subpoena from the Democrats crazy Nancy Pelosi the whole thing just
  • Bo Nancy Pelosi okay now he's they've got to stop
  • that because they're destroying our country we have to work on making America great again not on beating
  • people and we won we beat them in all we beat them on the impeachments we beat them on indictments we beat them but the
  • time that you have to spend the time that you have to spend if they would devote that genius to helping
  • our country we'd have a much stronger and better country you can't follow what
  • he's saying no they being

  • 1:14:01
  • Democrats what happened to Unity and Jason the biggest star in Country music
  • Jason thank you for being here Jason thank you very much Jason
  • alen he's good I like his I like his wife even better by the way she's
  • here thank you Jason so but I'm thrilled to have a
  • new friend and partner Fighting by my side the next Vice President of the
  • United States the current senator from Ohio J D Vance and his incredible wife
  • Usha this is all so bizarre just the roll call with the
  • commentary this is not what I was expecting not that we knew I didn't
  • expect an American Carnage is going to be a great vice president he's going to be great to
  • be with this country and with his movement greatest movement in the history of our country make America

  • 1:15:04
  • great again when they criticized it they said we're going to try and stop mag I said mag is make America great again
  • what are you going to stop there's nothing to stop as they say then they say oh that's right it's very tough to
  • fight it what and all of the people that did try and fight it have failed but he's
  • going to be with us for a long time and it was an honor to select him great great student at Yale his wife was a
  • great student at Yale they met at Yale these are two smart
  • people so J you're going to be doing this for a long time enjoy the ride for

  • will lead America to new heights of greatness like the world has never seen before we were right there in the first
  • term we got hit with Co we did a great job nobody knew what it was but nobody's
  • ever seen an economy preco and then we handed over a stock market that was substantially higher than just prior to
  • co coming in did a great job never got credit for that we got credit for the
  • war and defeating Isis and so many things the great economy the biggest tax cuts ever the biggest regulation cuts
  • ever the creation of space for course the rebuilding of our military we did so
  • much we did so much right to try right to try is a big deal we got right to try

  • 1:18:05
  • they were trying to get that for 52 years somebody's terminally ill and
  • hopefully there's nobody in this audience but it does happen a lot they're terminally ill and they can't use our new space age drugs and other
  • things that we wear ahead we have the greatest doctors in the world the greatest labor is in the world and you
  • can't do it they've been trying to get that approved for 52 years was it that easy the insurance companies didn't want
  • to do it they didn't want the risk the labs didn't want to do it because if it didn't work people are pretty there are a lot of lies here it's hard to keep up
  • with them he's not talking about the biggest tax cut in reent American history for the biggest corporations and
  • the biggest wealthiest individuals right he's not talking about the fact that
  • they he did not want to use Medicare uh to lower drug prices no I know and he

  • 1:19:00
  • remember he was the one who who tried to get the oil companies to give him a
  • billion dollars in exchange for getting rid of environmental regulations talking about buying votes they didn't want to
  • do it the doctors didn't want to have it on their record so I got everybody into an office 52 years they tried sound
  • simple but it's not and I got them to agree that somebody that needs it will
  • instead of going to Asia Europe or someplace or if you have no money going home and dying just
  • die we got them to sign an agreement agree to it where they're not going to sue anybody they're going to get all of
  • this stuff they're going to get it really fast and what's happened is we're saving thousands and thousands of lives
  • it's incredible right to try another lie absolutely no evidence that this is
  • saving lives under our leadership the United States will be respected again and no Nation will question our power no
  • enemy will doubt our might our borders will be Totally Secure our economy will

  • 1:20:04
  • soar we will return Law and Order to our streets patriotism to our schools and
  • importantly we will restore peace stability and Harmony all throughout the
  • world let's be clear crime but to achieve this VI we must first rescue our
  • nation from failed and even in competent leadership we have totally incompetent
  • leadership this will be the most important election in the history of our country under the current
  • Administration we are indeed a nation in Decline Trump talk an inflation crisis
  • that is making life unaffordable ravaging the incomes of working and lowincome families and crushing I've got
  • to I've got to correct the record inflation inflation under Trump was much much higher under Biden inflation came
  • way down the number of jobs under Trump actually he lost 2.9 Million jobs I know

  • 1:21:02
  • we never have never had job growth as we've had it under Biden and even controlling for
  • covid crushing our people like never before they've never seen anything like it we also have an illegal
  • immigration crisis and it's taking place right now as we sit here in this
  • beautiful Arena it's a massive Invasion at our Southern border that has spread
  • misery crime poverty disease and destruction to communities all across
  • our land nobody's ever seen anything Li then there is an international crisis
  • the likes of which the world has seldom been part of nobody can believe what's
  • happening war is now raging in Europe in the Middle East a growing Spectre of
  • conflict hangs over Taiwan Korea the Philippines and all of Asia and our
  • planet is teetering on the edge of World War II and this will be a war like no

  • 1:22:02
  • other War because of Weaponry the weapons are no longer army tanks going
  • back and forth shooting at each other these weapons are
  • obliteration it's time for a change this Administration can't come close to
  • solving the problems we're dealing with very tough very Fierce People they're
  • fierce Fierce People and Fierce People we have people
  • that L less he wants to wreck NATO and he also has said Putin can do whatever
  • he wants yeah Green Europe green light fearce except when it comes to
  • cheating on elections and a couple of other things then they're fearce then they're
  • fears here should we talk about cheating on elction tonight make this pledge to
  • the great people of America I will end the devastating inflation crisis

  • 1:23:01
  • immediately bring down interest rates 1616 Nobel laurat economists have warned
  • the Trump's economic plans would be an inflation bomb they would spur inflation
  • including the tariffs and lower the cost of energy we will drill baby drill
  • and half of the country is under a serious health heat watch right now
  • because we've not done enough to con we've not done enough to contain fossil fuels he wants to go even further in
  • terms of drilling for fossil
  • fuels but earlier they were trying to blame democrats for the climate crisis
  • can you believe what they're doing they but by doing that we will lead a large

  • 1:24:00
  • scale decline in prices prices will start to come down energy raised it they
  • took our energy policies and destroyed them then they immediately went back to them but by that time so much was lost
  • but we will do it at levels that nobody's ever seen before and we'll end
  • lots of different things we'll start paying off debt start lower the United States now is a energy exporter for the
  • first time right now he's talking liquid liquid natural natural gas now he's
  • talking about the debt taxes even further we gave you the largest tax cut
  • we'll do it more know people don't nobody got a tax cut except the very very rich in big corporations and the
  • deficit was blown up I brought taxes way down way way down and yet we took in
  • more revenues the following year than we did when the tax rate was much higher most people said how did you do that
  • because it was incentive everybody was coming to the country they were bringing

  • 1:25:02
  • back billions and billions of dollars into our country the companies made it impossible to bring it back the tax rate
  • was too high and the legal complications were far too great I changed both of
  • them and hundreds of billions of dollars by Apple and so many other companies
  • would brought back into our nation and we had an economy the likes of which nobody no Nation had ever seen China we
  • were beating them at levels that were incredible and they know it they know it
  • we'll do it again but we'll do it even better I will end the illegal immigration crisis by closing our border
  • and finishing the wall most of which I've already built
  • um he replaced some links and offense practically he
  • did 52 miles of 2000 and look at the whole notion of an

  • 1:26:05
  • immigration crisis is something that he conjured up I mean illegal immigration
  • news helped illegal immigration is way
  • down on the wall we were dealing with a very difficult Congress and I said oh
  • that's okay we won't go to Congress I call it an invasion we gave our military
  • almost $800 billion I said I'm going to take a little of that money because this is an invasion and we built most of the
  • wall is already built and we built it through using the funds because what's more what's better than that we have to
  • stop The Invasion into our country that's killing
  • hundreds of thousands of people a year I'm not going to let that happen this is
  • not it's this this is a law boldface law I will end every single International
  • crisis that the current Administration has created including the horrible war

  • 1:27:05
  • with Russia and Ukraine which would have never happened if I was President because he and the War caused by the
  • attack on Israel which would have never happened if I was President Iran was broke Iran
  • had no money now Iran has $250 billion doll they made it all over the last two
  • and a half years they were broke I watched the other day on a show called deface the nation has anyone seen it and
  • they had a congressman who was a Democrat say well whether you like them or not Iran was broke dealing with Trump
  • I told China and other countries if you buy from Iran we will not let you do any
  • business in this country and we will put tariffs on every product you do send in of 100% or
  • more yeah you just thought and they said to me well I think that's about it they weren't going to buy any oil and they
  • were ready to make a deal Iran was going to make a deal with us and then we had that horrible horrible result that

  • 1:28:03
  • will'll never let happen again the election result we're never going to let that happen again they used Co to cheat
  • you're never going to let it happen again and they took off all the sanctions and they did everything
  • possible for Iran and now Iran is very close to having a nuclear weapon which
  • would have never happened this is a shame what what this Administration the dam another line that this
  • Administration has done and I say it often if you took the 10 worst Presidents in the history of the United
  • States think of it the 10 worst added them up they will not have done the damage that Biden has done okay only
  • going to use uh a survey uh of 154 respected historians ranked Trump the
  • worst president in American history and put Biden in the top 20 best because of
  • his success at leading us out of the covid crisis ter once Biden I'm not going to

  • 1:29:04
  • use the name anymore just one time the damage that he's done to this country is
  • Unthinkable it's Unthinkable together we will restore
  • Vision strength confidence and we're going to have a thing called common
  • sense making most of our decisions actually it's all common sense about the common
  • good just a few short years ago under my presidency we had the most secure border
  • and best economy in the history of our country in the history of the world we had the greatest economy in the history
  • of the world we had never done anything like it we were beating every country
  • including China by Leaps and Bounds nobody had seen anything like it we had no inflation soaring incomes were going
  • nobody's nobody can believe it you can't believe what happened four years AG I know about
  • the economy hit hit us with it okay Trump lost 2.9 Million jobs during the his

  • 1:30:05
  • four years the economy slowed even before covid economic growth was slower
  • than it has been in fact Biden's economic growth is twice as great as
  • Trump's he is now getting away with what saying things that are completely
  • opposite to the truth history yep is happening now in reverse and the
  • world was at peace inflation has been a killer for our country no matter what you make it it doesn't matter because
  • inflation is eating you alive people that were putting away money they were making great wages the highest they've
  • ever made but they were putting away a lot of money now they are just being destroyed they're not putting away
  • anything they're barely living they're going into savings accounts they're taking out their money to live because
  • of inflation inflation remember it's called a country Buster you can go back to Germany from a hundred years ago you

  • 1:31:03
  • can go back to any country that suffered great inflation we've suffer the
  • worst inflation okay during his years we went into the worst covid crisis of any
  • country he did nothing he did absolutely nothing uh and because of that we had to
  • we had had to he agreed to pump huge amounts of money into the economy uh to
  • just simply sustain the economy because of his failure to reign in the covid
  • crisis and when you put that kind of money into the economy you get inevitably some inflation so the FED has
  • now brought inflation down to 3% core inflation I know and remember what he
  • did with Tyson chicken and all of it I mean we've ever had but go back and see
  • what's happened to those countries we've had the worst inflation we've ever had under this
  • person but in less than four years our opponents have turned incredible success

  • 1:32:04
  • into unparalleled tragedy and failure it's been a tremendous failure today our
  • cities are flooded with illegal aliens Americans are being squeezed out of the labor force and their jobs are taken by
  • the way you know who's taking the jobs the jobs that are created 107% of those
  • jobs are taken by illegal aliens and you know who's being hurt the most by
  • millions of people pouring into our country the black population and the
  • Hispanic population because they're taking the jobs from our black
  • population our Hispanic population and they're also taking them from unions the
  • can I just saying because the notion that there are black jobs or Hispanic jobs is itself such a a discriminatory
  • bigoted idea you know I mean how can if you were a black person or if you were a Hispanic if or Latino how would you like

  • 1:33:03
  • it if somebody said oh well that's a that's a Latino job or that's a black job I know absurd and more jobs were
  • created in Pre President Obama's last three years than in Trump's oh verse
  • three I mean come on he's just the jobs and the inflation lies thank you thank you I like you too
  • thank you very much inflation has wiped out the life savings of our citizens and forc the
  • middle class into a state of depression and despair that's what it is it's Despair and depression we cannot and
  • will not let this continue less than four years ago we were a great nation
  • and we will soon be a great nation again we're going to be a great nation again
  • he hasn't mentioned project 2025 has thank you with proper leadership every

  • 1:34:01
  • disaster we are now enduring will be fixed and it will be fixed very very quickly so tonight whether you've
  • supported me in the past or not I hope you will support me in the future because I will bring back the American
  • dream that's what we're going to do you don't even hear about the record low unemployment as you like to point out
  • with humility I am asking you to be excited about the future of our country
  • be excited be excited this is hard to I'm glad we're
  • together and by the way the news reports all look at all of
  • those big networks look at them they're all here but every one of them has said
  • this could be the most organized best run and most
  • enthusiastic Convention of either party that they've ever seen every single

  • 1:35:04
  • one uh wait a minute every convention has about the same number of people I mean are supposed to come conventional
  • Halls only hold a certain number of people also I don't see anybody up there
  • no pretty standard size for a convention point is to have the Press there
  • otherwise we'll blow it and we can't let that happen what now this was great all
  • of the great people that spoke and everybody hit a home run I mean there's not one that I can think of where I said
  • oh gee that wasn't great every single person I refused to be the only one
  • don't do that to me they're already getting ready see I gave him an idea now we had a this was a great
  • convention this was uh I think we're actually going to go home and miss it you know usually with a con first of all
  • look at look at these crowds you'd never have this at a convention look at these crowds you never have what people you
  • have real people at most

  • 1:36:05
  • conventions love it's about love this week the entire Republican party has
  • formerly adopted an agenda for America's renewal and you saw that agenda and it's
  • very short compared to the long boring
  • meaningless agendas of the past including the Democrats they write these things that are hundreds of pages long
  • and they never read them after they're done there is nobl fortunately they don't read them because they're pretty
  • bad it's a series they had we will swiftly Implement when you give us a
  • republican house and Mr speaker thank you very
  • much we have our great speaker of the house with us tonight Mr speaker thank
  • you very much thank you not going to say his name a Republican Senate we have many
  • senators here and send me back to our beautiful white house just a few short months from

  • 1:37:06
  • now we're talking about just months it can't come fast enough we have to get it
  • done first we must get economic relief to our citizens starting on day one we
  • will drive down prices and make America affordable again we have have to make it affordable it's not
  • affordable people can't live like this under this
  • Administration our current Administration groceries are up 57%
  • gasoline is up 60 and 70% mortgage rates have quadrupled okay I've got to say he
  • has not put forward one single idea for bringing these costs down the only way
  • to deal with these costs is through antitrust enforcement because a lot of them are being driven by big companies
  • that are just raising their prices because they have Market power he doesn't believe in antitrust he treding to gut the antitrust division of the

  • 1:38:03
  • justice department he wants to close the Federal Trade Commission this is the opposite the opposite of what he is now
  • talking about and the fact is it doesn't matter what they are because you can't get the money anywhere can't buy houses young
  • people can't get any financing to buy a house the total household costs have increased an average of
  • $228,000 per family under this Administration Republicans have a plan
  • to bring down prices and bring them down very very rapidly by slashing energy
  • costs we will in turn reduce the cost of Transportation manufacturing and all
  • household goods so we also know that Moody has found Biden's policies better
  • for the economy than Trump's I mean and he could trigger a recession again as
  • well what they're saying much starts with energy and remember we have more Liquid
  • Gold under our feet than any other country by far we are a nation that has

  • 1:39:05
  • the opportunity to make an absolute Fortune with its energy we have it and
  • China does it under the Trump Administration just three and A2 years
  • ago we were energy independent but soon we will actually be better than that we
  • will be energy dominant and Supply not only ourselves but we will wait a we're
  • already energy independent we are already producing more energy than we need and by the way he is not
  • acknowledging that fossil fuels are responsible for this incredible climate
  • crisis we're going through half the nation is suffering the more the worst heat that they have ever suffered do you
  • think anybody is watching this and saying oh I feel great about the climate
  • Supply the rest of the world with numbers that nobody has ever

  • 1:40:00
  • seen and we will reduce our debt $36 trillion we will start reducing that and
  • we will also reduce your taxes still further next by the way they want to
  • raise your taxes four times think of it and all my life I grew up watching
  • politicians I always love politics I guess I was on the other side I'd watched Pol and they were always talking
  • about we will give you a tax cut we will give you a tax cut we my whole life I was watching I will give you a tax cut
  • right Mr Congressman that's all they talked about this is the only Administration that said we're going to
  • raise your taxes by four times what you're paying now and people are supposed to vote for them I've never heard it Biden has no plans to raise
  • taxes on America tax earning less than 400k still further we gave you the biggest one as I said we're going to
  • give billionaires he going to lead to tremendous growth million billion offb a huge tax cut and
  • corporations that's why the debt that's why ridiculous

  • 1:41:04
  • and of tax dollars that is fueling the inflation crisis they spent trillions of
  • dollars on things having to do with the green new scam it's a scam and that's
  • caused tremendous inflationary pressures in addition to the cost of energy and
  • all of the trillions of dollars that are sitting there not yet spent we will redirect that money for important
  • projects like roads Bridges dams and we will not allow it to be spent on
  • meaningless green new scam ideas he promised at
  • infrastructure repeatedly never happened Biden produced the first major
  • infrastructure no mandate on day one there's no mandate
  • what what mandate to be a dictator there by saving the US Auto industry from complete obliteration which is happening

  • 1:42:01
  • right now and saving us customers thousands and thousands of dollars per
  • car and right now as we speak large factories just started are being built
  • across the border in Mexico so with all the other things happening on our border and they're being built by China to make
  • cars and to sell them into our country no tax no anything can I just say the United aut work manufacturing employment
  • manufacturing jobs has surged under Biden it actually did went nowhere under
  • Trump this ought to be ashamed for allowing this to happen and the leader
  • of the United aut workers should be fired immediately in every single order worker Union and non union should be
  • voting for Donald Trump because we're going to bring back car manufacturing and we're going to bring it back
  • fast it fell to a 10year low man us manufacturing under Trump they're build

  • 1:43:03
  • some of the largest Auto plants anywhere in the world think of it in the world we're going to bring it back we're going
  • to make them we don't mind the we don't mind that happening but those plants are going to be built in the United States
  • and our people are going to man those PL Trump when he was president awarded more than $425 billion in federal contracts
  • to corporations off put approximately 100 to 200% on each car and they will be
  • unsellable in the United States we have long been taken advantage
  • of by other countries and think of it often times these other countries are considered
  • so-called allies they've taken advantage of us for years we lose jobs we lose revenue and they gain everything and
  • wipe out our businesses wipe out our people I stopped it for four years I stopped it and we really ready to make
  • changes like nobody had seen before and remember usmca I got rid of NAFTA the

  • 1:44:04
  • worst trade deal ever made and replaced it with usmca which is they say the best
  • trade deal ever made almost no difference actually probably the best trade deal was the deal I made with
  • China where they buy 50 billion dollar worth of our product they were buying nothing they buy $50 billion worth they
  • had to but I don't even talk about it because of Co I don't even mention it frankly
  • because of what happened with the China virus what it's so
  • horrific we will not let countries come in take our jobs and plunder our nation
  • they come and do that they plunder our nation the way they will sell their product in
  • America is to build It in America very simple Build It in America and only in
  • America so he's going to have what tariffs 100% tariffs on

  • 1:45:03
  • all products coming into the United States so Zero Sum in black or white not
  • to mention false and this very simple formula in
  • Congress has to go along with us and they will this very simple formula will
  • create massive number numbers of jobs we will take over the Auto industry again and many many hundreds of thousands of
  • jobs we lost so many jobs over the years if you go back 20 25 years they've
  • stolen going to China and Mexico about 68% of our Auto industry manufacturing
  • jobs we're going to get them all back we're going to get them all back every one of them that's what you promised
  • before bid at the C plan for economic relief are massive tax cuts for workers
  • that include something else that's turned out to be very popular actually
  • here it's very popular in this building and all those hotels that I saw that are so nice I'm staying TI workers it's

  • 1:46:05
  • called no tax on tips no tax on tip no
  • tax on tips Trump's Labor Department actually had made it easier for
  • employers to take the tips of workers
  • this is the faux workingclass populism right I got that by having dinner
  • recently in Nevada where we're leading by about 14 points
  • hello I'll see you there very soon everybody and we're having dinner at a
  • beautiful restaurant in the Trump building on the strip and it's a great building and the waitress comes over
  • how's everything going really nice person how's everything oh Sirah it's so tough the government after me all the
  • time on tips tips tips I said well they give you cash would they be able to find them she said actually and I didn't know
  • this she said very little cash is given it's all put right on the check and they come in and they take so much of our

  • 1:47:05
  • money it's just ridiculous and they don't believe anything we say and they've just hired as you know
  • 88,000 agents to go after them even [Music] more those agents by the way have been
  • going after Millionaires and billionaires bring huge amounts of
  • Consultants they pay millions of dollars but I said to her let me just ask you a question would you be happy if you had
  • no tax and tips she said what a great idea I got my information from a very smart waitress that's better than
  • spending millions of dollars and everybody everybody loves it waitresses
  • and caddies and drivers and everybody is a large large group of people that are
  • being really hurt B ly they make money let them keep their money I'm going to protect Social
  • Security and Medicare Democrats are going to destroy Social Security and Medicare because all of these people by

  • 1:48:05
  • the millions they're coming in they're going to be on okay let me be clear if you are an immigrant who's here
  • illegally undocumented you cannot draw any Social Security but you've got to
  • pay into Social Security right we debunked this at the debate you and I are getting repetitive
  • Social Security and Medicare and other things and you're not able to afford it
  • they are destroying your Social Security and your Medicare under my plan incomes
  • will Skyrocket will vanish completely jobs will come roaring back and the middle
  • class will prosper undocumented immigrants have paid in about 27 billion dollar more into Social Security than
  • they've got back that's 27 billion that is supporting right Americans who
  • are here legally I mean this is never ever before and we're going to do it

  • 1:49:00
  • very
  • rapidly but no hope or dream we have for America can succeed unless we stop the
  • illegal immigrant Invasion the worst that's ever been seen anywhere in the world there's never been an invasion
  • like this anywhere third world country would fight with sticks and stones not to let this happen and the ourn B we
  • will stop we will stop it quickly you heard Tom Homan yesterday Tom Homan put him in charge and just sit back and
  • watch demagog Brandon Jud a border patrol he's incredible
  • these guys you know they they really their job is a lot easier if they don't have to do anything but they want to their Patriots Brandon Jud border patrol
  • ice ice goes out you have to see what ice does with MS13 you have these These
  • are probably the worst gang and Ice goes in there and I know a lot of people in these Ro Biden and the Republicans had a

  • 1:50:04
  • deal to make it even stricter in terms of border security and the Republicans
  • in the house listening to Trump said no we're not going to go along he wanted it
  • to be a campaign issue here and they're very tough people but they don't want to do this job they'll go into a pack of
  • MS-13 Killers they're the worst probably the worst gangs in the world we have thousands of them I moved thousands and
  • thousands out in my four years we moved them out and it was a pleasure but ice would go right into a pack of these
  • killers and you see fists flying you see everything flying and then they take them they put them in a Patty
  • wagon they take him back and they get them out of our country and the other countries weren't accepting them back
  • and I called up and I said tell them that we're not giving them economic aid and anymore and the next day I got calls
  • from all of these countries that were terminated billions of dollars we spend on economic aid to countries that does

  • 1:51:02
  • US frankly no good and the next day I was called by everybody I couldn't take all the call sir sir what's the problem
  • I said you won't take your Killers back that you sent in Caravans into America
  • you won't take them back well sir uh if you'd like us to we would give very serious consideration to doing that what
  • is happening so when he says sir of being taken back
  • Years first came tell tale they said President Obama tried to get him to go
  • back and they wouldn't accept him they'd put planes on the runway so you couldn't lead the plane they'd closed the road so
  • you couldn't take the buses at all have to turn back as soon as I said no more economic aid of any kind to any country
  • that does that they called back and they said sir it would be our great honor to take MS13 we love them very much
  • this is we love them very much sir we'll take most dangerous form of democra at the heart of the Republican platform is

  • 1:52:01
  • our pledge to end this border Nightmare and fully restore the sacred and Sovereign borders of the United States
  • America and we're going to the Border illegal border crossings are
  • down with the said Invasion that means two things in day one right drill baby
  • drill and close our borders what happened to dictator you know Heather not a single American
  • has been killed by a terrorist crossing our Southern border by the way and I
  • think everybody as a republican as a patriot in this room and most Democrats
  • we want people to come into our country but they have to come into our country
  • legally
  • Legally less than four years ago I handed this Administration the strongest
  • Border in American history but you can see on the chart that saved my life that
  • was the chart that saved my life I said look at I'm so proud of it I think it's one of the greatest it was done by the border

  • 1:53:06
  • patrol one of the greatest charts I've ever seen it showed everything just like that you know the chart oh there it is
  • that's pretty good wow last time I put up that chart I
  • never really got to look at it now we're making but without that
  • chart I would not be here today Trump's massive deportation
  • plan is would be a disaster a humanitarian
  • disaster it would be an economic disaster he wants to round up 11 to 15
  • million people put them concentration camps I never got to see it that that
  • day but I'm seeing it now and I was very proud if you look at the arrow in the bottom that's the lowest level the one
  • on the bottom heavy red arrow that's the lowest level of illegal immigrants ever

  • 1:54:05
  • to come into our country in recorded history right there that's the that's because that's 2020 that's
  • Co and that was my last week in office and then you see what happened after I
  • left look at the rest and if you go out a little bit further it's getting to be a little bit old but I love it anyway
  • right but you can go much higher with those numbers look what happened right after that The Invasion began we had the
  • opposite we stopped The Invasion but the invasion that we stopped was peanuts by
  • comparison to what happened after I left look at what happened after I left they took over our country this makes end 20
  • referen to the word Invasion we shut down Asylum fraud stopped human trafficking and forged historic
  • agreements to keep illegal aliens on foreign soil we want them to stay on their soil under the Trump
  • Administration if you came in illegally you were apprehended immediately and you were deported and you were put if you

  • 1:55:03
  • were a child you were put in a cage the current Administration terminated every single one of those great Trump policies
  • that I put in place to seal the Border I wanted to seal border again come in but
  • come in Legally you know how unfair it is so many people hundreds of thousands of people have been working for years to
  • to come into our country and now they see these people pour into our country at levels that are unprecedented so
  • unfair and we're not going to do it we're not going to stand for it they suspended wall construction ended remain
  • in Mexico we had a policy remain in Mexico you think that was easy to get from the Mexican Government but I said
  • you must give it to us if you don't give it to us there will be repercussions and they gave it to us that's exactly the
  • policy we have right now canel our safe third agreements demolished title 42
  • implemented Nationwide Catch and Release that's Catch and Release where we catch them and release them into our country I
  • had we catch them and release them into Mexico there was a slight difference and took 93 this is the

  • 1:56:08
  • previous administration 93 executive actions to throw open our border to the world the
  • entire world is pouring into our country because of this very foolish Administration the greatest invas in
  • history is taking place right here in our country they are coming in from every corner of the earth not just from
  • South America but from Africa Asia the Middle East they're coming from everywhere they're coming at levels that
  • we've never seen before it is an invasion indeed and this Administration
  • does absolutely nothing to stop them they're coming from prisons they're
  • coming from jails they're coming from mental institutions and insan true say
  • this immigrants are 60% less likely as a
  • percentage to commit crimes than are people who are born in the United States

  • 1:57:04
  • also this is just a smear there is no evidence that people are coming for mental institutions or jails which is
  • his other favorite thing say is always on me because I say this has anyone seen
  • Silence of the Lambs the late great Hannibal Lector
  • he'd love to have you for dinner not his joke that's insane
  • asylums they're emptying out their inane asylums and terrorists are coming in at numbers that we've never seen before bad
  • things are going to happen meanwhile our crime rate is going up while crime
  • statistics all over the world are going down because they're taking their criminals and they're putting them into
  • our country a certain country and I happen to like the president of that country
  • very much but he's been getting great publicity because he's a wonderful Shepherd of the country he

  • 1:58:02
  • says how well the country is doing because their crime rate is down and he said he's training all of these rough
  • people they're rough rough rough he's training them and I've been reading about this for two years I think oh
  • that's wonderful let's take a look at it but then I realized he's not training them he's sending all of his criminals
  • his drug dealers his people that are in jails he's sending them all to the United States and he's different and
  • that he doesn't say that he's trying to convince everybody what a wonderful job he does in running the country well he
  • doesn't do a wonderful job and by the way have I ran one of the countries many countries many many countries from all
  • over I would be worse than any of them I would have had the place totally emptied out
  • already you know this is this is a but we become Dumping Ground
  • rest of the world which ising at us they think we're stupid and they can't believe that they're getting away with
  • what they getting away with but they're not going to be getting away with it for long that's what I can tell you I can't

  • 1:59:06
  • believe he has been getting away with these lies including his big lie in
  • Venezuela karacus high crime high crime Caracus
  • Venezuela really dangerous place but not anymore because in Venezuela crime is
  • down 72% in fact if they would ever win this election I hate to even say that we will
  • have our next Republican convention in Venezuela because it will be safe our
  • cities our cities will be so unsafe we won't be able we will not be able to
  • have it there in El Salvador burds are down by 70% why are they
  • down now he would have you convinced that because he's trained murderers to
  • be wonderful people no they're down because they're sending their murderers to the United States of

  • 2:00:02
  • America this is going to be very bad not true and bad things are going to
  • happen and you're seeing it happen all the time that's why to keep our family safe the Republican platform promises to
  • launch the largest deportation operation in the history of our country
  • even larger than that of President Dwight D Eisenhower from many years ago you know
  • he was a moderate but he believed very strongly in borders he had the largest deportation operation humanitarian and
  • economic crisis just recently I spoke to The Grieving mother of Joselyn Nary a
  • wonderful woman a precious 12-year-old girl from Houston who last month was tied up
  • assaulted and strangled to death after walk into the convenience store just a block away from her house her body was
  • dumped near the side of the road in a shallow Creek found by some onlookers

  • 2:01:03
  • who couldn't believe what they had witnessed charged with joselyn's heinous
  • murder or two illegal aliens from Venezuela who came across our border were in custody and were then released
  • into the country by this horrible horrible Administration that we have right now I also met recently with the
  • heartbroken mother and sister of Rachel Moren Rachel was a 37-year-old mom of
  • five beautiful children who was brutally raped and murdered while out on a run
  • she wanted to keep herself in good shape it was very important to her she was murdered the monster responsible first
  • killed another woman in El Salvador before he was led into America by the White House this White House let them in
  • he then attacked a 9-year-old girl and her mother and a home invasion in Los Angeles before murdering Rachel in
  • Maryland traveled all throughout the country doing tremendous damage Rachel's

  • 2:02:00
  • mother will never be the same I spent time with her she will never be the same
  • I've also met with the wonderful family of lake and Riley the brilliant
  • 22-year-old nursing student she was so proud of being first in her class who
  • was out for a jog on the campus of the University of Georgia when she was assaulted beaten and horrifically killed
  • yet another American life was stolen by a Criminal Alien set free by this
  • Administration these were incredible people we're talking about these were incredible people who died an example of
  • demog tonight America This Is My Vow I will not let these killers and criminals
  • into our country you you take isolated examples you exaggerate
  • them yep you make up data you you that is completely false then you do
  • storytelling appeal to emotion as we bring security to our streets we will help bring stability to the world I was

  • 2:03:04
  • the first president in modern times to start no new Wars you know we were the
  • toughest we were the most respectful not true and you you saw this
  • other president hungry strong strong country run by very powerful tough leaders tough guy press doesn't like him
  • cuz he's tough and uh he came out recently they were asking him at an
  • interview the whole world is exploding what's happening what's going on Victor
  • Orban prime minister of hungry very tough man Victor Orban IL liberal I
  • don't want people coming into my country and blowing up our shopping centers and killing people but they said to him tell
  • us what's going wrong what's happening what is it he said there's only one way you're going to solve it you got to
  • bring president Trump back to the United States because he kept
  • everybody at Bay Orban orbon is the most rightwing authoritarian use because I

  • 2:04:06
  • can't use that word because you'd say it was Bragg the Press would say who's a bragger I'm not a bragger but Victor
  • Orban said it he said Russia was afraid of him China was afraid of him everybody
  • Orban just went went to visit Putin and Chi Orban
  • is is really the the model for the right-wing conservative movement in the
  • United States the anti-democracy movement he was just at maral Lago yes
  • was afraid of him nothing was going to happen the whole world was at peace and
  • now the world is blowing up around us all of these things that you about Happ
  • under his administration under President Bush Russia invaded Georgia under President

  • 2:05:01
  • Obama Russia took Crimea under the current
  • Administration Russia is after all of Ukraine under President Trump Russia
  • took nothing that's because Trump and Putin
  • are best friends yeah took our dignity he took
  • it we defeated 100% of Isis in Syria and Iraq something that was said to take
  • five years sir it'll take five years sir the sir we did it in a matter of a
  • couple of months we have a great military our military is not woke it's just some of the fools on top that are
  • woke woke he's calling member of the military fools some of the fools on top of the
  • military awoke where did that very well North Korea Kim Jong and I got along

  • 2:06:00
  • very well with him the Press hated when I said that how could you get along with him well you know it's nice to get along
  • with somebody has a lot of nuclear weapons or otherwise is see in the old days you say that's a
  • wonderful thing now they say how can you possibly do that but now I got along
  • with them and we stopped the missile launchers from North nor Korea now North Korea is acting up again but when we get
  • back I get along with them he did not stop laun from North Korea I think he misses me if you want to know the
  • to comedic our opponents inherited a world at peace and turned it into a
  • planet of War we're in a planet of war look at that attack on Israel look
  • at what's happening with Ukraine the cities are just bombed out how can
  • people live like that buildings massive buildings are falling to the ground remember when he delay to unravel
  • with the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan the worst humiliation in the history of our country we have never had

  • 2:07:03
  • a humiliation like that 13 heroic US service members were tragically and
  • needlessly killed 45 others were horrifically wounded nobody ever talks about them no arms no
  • legs face explosions you know US troops were killed in Afghanistan in every year
  • of the a man yeah wars were going on not a who's running for the US sener from a
  • great state Nevada Named Sam Brown who paid the ultimate
  • price thank you Sam thank you
  • Sam thank you he paid the biggest
  • price probably ever paid by anybody that is running for office and I think he's
  • going to do great he's running against a person that is not good not respected a

  • 2:08:04
  • total lightweight but Sam I think paid really we were talking about it with
  • some of the Senators that are working so hard for Sam but he paid the biggest
  • price of any Senator ever to run for the Senate I don't think anybody's ever what he did he was a real a really great
  • person and he's running and I hope that everybody gets out and votes for Sam
  • Brown this this still am I is this real life is this still are we still here are
  • we still here I don't know Left Behind 85 billion worth of military equipment
  • along with many American citizens were left behind many many American citizens
  • emboldened by that disaster Russia invaded Ukraine they saw this group of people that were incompetent we took the
  • soldiers out first no no we're going to take the soldiers out second if they would have followed my plan we had a
  • great plan but the plan only kicked in if they did everything perfectly and they weren't doing things perfectly so

  • 2:09:05
  • we said it doesn't kick in you know 18 months in Afghanistan we didn't have one
  • s they were killing them left and right snipers and I spoke to the head of the
  • Taliban you've heard this story Abdul still there still the head of the
  • Taliban the Press got on me why would you speak to him I said because that's where the killing is I don't have to
  • speak to somebody that has nothing to do with it and I told him don't ever do that don't ever do that again don't ever
  • ever do that again you got to stop because during the Obama Administration many great people and soldiers a lot of
  • soldiers were being killed from long distance I said if you keep doing that you're going to be hit harder than
  • anybody's ever been hit by a country before do you think they're flashing a light
  • saying it's time to wrap it up or do you think there's we you know with the teleprompter there's a and he said I

  • 2:10:00
  • understand your Excellency call me your Excellency I wonder if he calls the other guy your Excellency I doubt it
  • other guy gave him everything I mean what kind of a deal was that he walked out gave him everything do you know that
  • right now Afghanistan is one of the largest sellers of weapons in the world
  • they're selling the brand new beautiful weapons that we gave them but think of
  • it he actually said to me but why but why do you show me a picture of my home I said
  • you'll have to ask your people or one of your wives but he could figure it out and for
  • 18 months we had not one attack on an American Soldier by the Taliban 18 this
  • is so many lies and so many deviations and stories I'm it's hard to track if
  • someone actually wrote this speech I feel like it's going back and forth from the teleprompter to his own stream of

  • 2:11:01
  • Consciousness ridiculous election but we had that horrible attack and uh they
  • also gave up barram one of the biggest bases anywhere in the world air bases anywhere in the world the longest runways most
  • powerful Harden thickened runways we gave it up and I liked it not because of
  • Afghanistan I liked because of China it's 1 hour away from where China makes their nuclear weapons and you know who
  • has it now China has it now we were keeping
  • that and now China is likewise circling Taiwan and Russian warships and nuclear
  • submarines are operating 60 miles off the coast in Cuba do you know that the
  • Press refuses to write about it the Press refus me running this country and we had nuclear submarines and Cuba this
  • is worrying I will tell you the headlines every day would be what's wrong with our president you don't even
  • hear this you're not hearing about this Russia has nuclear submarines and

  • 2:12:03
  • warships 60 miles away Mr congressman from Miami by the way
  • happens to be here correct in Cuba that would not be stood for if it
  • were somebody else they don't even me they don't want to mention it but now maybe they will
  • and the entire world I tell you this we want our hostages back and they better be back
  • before I assume office or you will be paying a very big
  • price who's going to be paying a price and how is he going to make them pay a price
  • they see the subtext here is I am powerful I am macho man I'm connected I
  • can call anyone witness and Chaos will be over I don't have wars I
  • had no Wars other than Isis which I defeated but that was a war that was started we had no Wars I could stop Wars

  • 2:13:05
  • with a telephone call right I could stop war with just a telephone
  • call if properly stated it would never start we will replenish our military and
  • build an iron Dome missile defense system to ensure that no enemy can strike our homeland and this great Iron
  • Dome will be built entirely in the USA we're going to build it this is like the Star Wars
  • defense system that Reagan came up with Wisconsin just like I gave you that
  • massive ship contract and you're doing a very nice job Governor
  • right thank you governor and they're doing a great job in fact I had a little design change we gave him a tremendous
  • for essentially what we used to call the names of these people now most beautiful
  • they look like yachs they said we have to take the bow and we have to make it a little nicer and a little point at the

  • 2:14:03
  • top instead of a flat nose he's losing it and the people at the ship yard said this guy sort of knows what he's doing
  • we most beautiful ships right governor and everybody sitting over there and it was a big contract that everybody wanted
  • I gave it to but are worrying a lot of that built right here the state of
  • Wisconsin and all other states Israel has an Iron Dome they have a missile
  • defense system 342 missiles were shot into Israel and only one got through a
  • little bit it was badly wounded it fell to the ground but most of them are and Ronald Reagan wanted this many years ago
  • but we really didn't have the technology many years ago remember they called it Starship spaceship Star Wars anything to
  • mock him but he was a very good president very very good
  • but now we have unbelievable technology and why should other countries have this
  • and we don't no no we're going to build an iron Dome over our country and we're going to be sure that nothing can come

  • 2:15:05
  • and harm our people and again from an economic development standpoint we're going to make it all right here no more
  • sending it out to other countries in order to help it's America First America
  • First isolationism we will Unleash the Power of American Innovation and as we
  • do we will soon be on the verge of finding the cures to cancer Alzheimer's
  • disease and many other diseases wow we're going to get to the bottom of it
  • oh you remember this gentleman that I he come up with a health plan because when
  • you say the 10 worst I had to do I didn't want anybody many since 2015 but
  • this man said we're going to find the cure to cancer nothing happened we're going to get to the cure for cancer and
  • Alzheimer's covid test happening the parking lot on the website I mean do we remember that but we need a leader that
  • will let it be done we will not have men playing in women's sports that will end

  • 2:16:05
  • immediately okay now here we go finally it gets to some of the unalo
  • bigotry against people in the we will restore and renovate our nation's once great cities making them safe clean and
  • beautiful again and that includes our nation's capital which is a horrible
  • killing field so many things they leave from Wisconsin they go to look at the Washington Monument they end up getting
  • stabbed killed or shot what we will be very soon very proud of our Capital
  • again Washington DC our school's coming up he hasn't said too only mention him
  • once America is on the cusp of a new golden age but we
  • will have the courage to seize it we're going to take it we're going to make it a current I mean we're going to bring
  • this into a golden age like never seen before remember this China wants to do

  • 2:17:03
  • it Japan wants to do it all of these countries want to do it we have to produce massive amounts of energy if
  • we're going to produce the new if you look at some of the things that have been done and some of the things that
  • we're going to do but what AOH needs
  • tremendous literally twice the electricity that's available now in our country can you imagine but instead
  • we're spending places where they recharge electric cars they built eight charges
  • at a certain location toward the Midwest what eight charges for 9 billion think
  • of them as a this is a tank for filling up the gas bizarre think of it they
  • spent N9 bill million dollar I don't believe it on eight charges it feels like we're on hour
  • 42 and if you are going to do this all over our country this crazy electric

  • 2:18:01
  • mandate you're going to do this no I'm all for electric they have their
  • application but if somebody wants to buy a gas powered car gasoline powered car
  • or a hybrid they're going to be able to do it and we're going to make that change on day one there is no manate
  • there's no electric
  • Commander so to conclude woo just a few short days ago my journey with you
  • nearly ended we know that and yet here we are tonight all gathered together
  • talking about the future promise and a total renewal of a thing we love very much
  • it's called America we live in a world of Miracles none of us knows God's plan or where
  • Life Adventure will take us back to the Frankl for being here tonight he's an outstanding

  • 2:19:03
  • man he wrote me a note recently I have a lot of respect for him sir I love your
  • storytelling I think it's great in front of these big rallies but sir please do me one favor it won't make any
  • difference please don't use any foul language I was a little embarrassed I
  • said what he said it won't make any difference actually it does the story is not quite as good but I've been very
  • good the story is not quite as good to be honest just I've got to have a little talk with Franklin but he was great he's
  • a great gentleman his father was so incredible Billy graah my father used to love taking me to see Billy graah my
  • father would take me to see Billy Graham at Yankee Stadium he had the biggest rallies you've ever seen he was a good
  • rally guy too but he'd get up and he was a fantastic guy my father loved Billy

  • 2:20:00
  • Graham I love Franklin Graham I think Franklin's been fantastic and I'm trying I'm working so hard to adhere to his
  • note to me it feels like I'm working hard on it Franklin but if the events of last
  • Saturday make anything clear it is that every single moment we have on Earth is
  • a gift from God
  • we have to make the most of every day for the people and for the country that we love the attacker in Pennsylvania
  • wanted to stop our movement but the truth is the movement has never been about me it has always been about you
  • it's your movement it's the biggest movement in the history of our country by far the biggest hist America it can't
  • be stopped it has always been about the hardworking patriotic citizens of
  • America for too long our nation has settled for too little we settle for too

  • 2:21:00
  • little we've given everything to other nations to other people you have been
  • told to lower your expectations and to accept less for your families I am here
  • tonight with the opposite message your expectations are not big enough they're
  • not big enough
  • it is time to start expecting and demanding the best leadership in the world leadership that is bold Dynamic
  • Relentless and fearless we can do that we are Americans ambition is our
  • heritage greatness is our Birthright but as long as our energies are spent
  • fighting each other our destiny will remain Out Of Reach and that's not
  • acceptable we must instead take that energy and use it to realize our country's true potential and write our
  • own thrilling chapter of the American story we can do it together we will unite we are going to come together and

  • 2:22:01
  • success will bring us
  • together it is a story of love sacrifice and so many other
  • things so much othering and remember the word devotion it's unmatching
  • devotion our American ancestors crossed the Delaware survived the icy winter at
  • Valley Forge and defeated a mighty Empire to establish our cherished
  • Republic they fought so hard they lost so many they push thousands and
  • thousands of miles across a dangerous Frontier taming the Wilderness to build a life and a magnificent home for their
  • family they packed their families into covered wagons treed across
  • hazardous Trails scaled towering mountains and braved rivers and Rapids
  • to stake their claim on the wide openen new and very beautiful

  • 2:23:03
  • Frontier when our way of life was threatened American Patriots marched onto the battlefield raced into enemy
  • strongholds and stared down death and stared down those enemies to keep alive
  • the flame of Freedom at Yorktown Gettysburg and Midway they join the roll call of
  • immortal Heroes so many hor just so many Heroes so many great great people and we
  • have to cherish those people we can't forget those people we have to cherish those
  • people it's called Fallen Soldiers losers and Su ear to those great people
  • is a good thing not a bad thing they saved our country building
  • monuments these no challenge was too much no hardship was too great this is a
  • dog no enemy was too together these Pat Soldier on and

  • 2:24:00
  • endured and they prevailed because they had faith in each other faith in their
  • country and above all they had faith in their
  • God just like our ancestors we must now come together rise above past
  • differences any disagreements have to be put aside and go forward United as one people one
  • nation pledging allegiance to one great beautiful I think it's so beautiful
  • American flag tonight I ask for your partnership
  • for your support and I am humbly asking for your vote want your
  • vote going to make our country great again every day I will strive to honor
  • the trust you have placed in me and I will never ever let you down I promise

  • 2:25:00
  • that I will never let you down to all of the Forgotten men and
  • women who have been neglected abandoned and left behind you will be forgotten no
  • longer we will press forward and together we will win win win
  • except for all the marginalized people he was
  • belittling how much did Trump add to the debt was it $8.4 trillion win win win
  • and how many jobs 2.9 Million lost I mean nothing will sway us under Trump
  • nothing will slow us and no one will ever stop us
  • [Music] no matter what dangers come our way no matter what obstacles lie in our path we
  • will keep striving toward our shared and glorious Destiny and we will not fail we

  • 2:26:02
  • will not fail together we will save this country
  • we will restore the Republic and we will usher in the rich and wonderful
  • tomorrows that our people so truly deserve platitude America's future will
  • be bigger better Bolder brighter happier stronger Freer greater and more united
  • than ever
  • before and quite simply put we will very
  • quickly make a America great again thank you very much thank you very
  • much God bless you longest accept speech I ever remember states of

  • 2:27:03
  • Amica thank you very much everybody I mean this is longer than most fulllength motion pictures I mean Dumbo remember
  • Dumbo went on forever interesting that you picked that one I mean this is also a model I mean
  • what the Press is going to say about this is it was a Kinder and gentler Donald Trump I mean he talked about
  • Unity over and over again but under the surface of unity and asking for Unity he
  • actually is dividing Americans over and over again tougher and tougher the
  • divisions over whether you were born outside the United States or whether you
  • use the boys' rooms and girls' rooms based upon your birth uh upon where you
  • are in America upon your income level and
  • what you actually get in terms of his tax cuts I mean he was a total failure
  • he Not only was a failure economically in terms of his economic policies but he also and let's not forget he created the

  • 2:28:05
  • big lie that he lost that he actually won the 2020 election and he
  • mounted a a an attempted coup against the government of the United States He
  • orchestrated a riot a an ass assault on the United States capital he endangered
  • the lives of our entire Congress this is a man who should not get close to the
  • presidency but what you saw and what you saw what I saw was a demagogue lied
  • repeatedly lied through his teeth said over and over again what is not true but
  • said it with a degree of convincing self-confidence and used the themes of
  • strength and dominance to win over certainly this audience and I hope let's
  • hope not a majority of Americans and US versus them it's all US versus them it's

  • 2:29:04
  • all a zero sum y contest yep and it's America First isolationism which is
  • going to if he would ever actually try to implement it would bring on another
  • great depression but the cognitive dissonance trying to listen to him it's like having R record scratch let's bring
  • us all together and then here are a thousand ways I'm now pulling us apart right and then but I'm back but I'm not
  • I mean it's so it's really actually difficult to follow well he was incoherent when he was off script
  • several times he went off script uh and he started to talk about artificial intelligence and energy and several at
  • the for and I mean horrible but the word but the but the
  • word uh kind of that he kept on using over and over and over again was the
  • word Invasion yep that is the most memorable word here his theme is that

  • 2:30:00
  • America is being invaded others are taking advantage of us I am a strong
  • enough powerful enough dominant enough person chosen enough man male uh that I
  • will stop all of this it was a I felt it was a depressing I don't know how all of
  • you felt um also long depressive I mean 90 90 plus minutes of that it's wild
  • really veering all over the place with the stories I remember in third grade learning what a tall tale was you know
  • we had an exercise now everyone has to so it's not a normal story what it is is a tall tale so you're going to
