that's a nice bandage that you had there yeah thank you very much to show uh solidarity with Trump huh no no I just wanted to kind of overcook the fact that I got a little Nick on my ear I just uh wanted to milk milk the sympathy as much as I possibly could okay so much has happened since you and I last met uh on Wednesday last week right so um and obviously the big news is Joe Biden has decided not to seek reelection in November and he iMed immediately 1:00 endorsed his vice president Kamala Harris and since then there has been an outpouring not just of support and love and affection and energy for the Democrats but also a financial push they have raised over a hundred million in in just a a few hours literally tell tell us you know how that kind of news how you kind of took that news and digested it you know what I knew sort of the the pundit class was going to be excited by this but or or at least stirred up but I I really didn't um anticipate the level of intensity from the Grassroots I mean they say like Trump is good for Ratings you know what they need to say KLA Harris is great for Ratings because people are so much plugged in you know they're watching cable news YouTube uh podcast views are up social media engagement is up uh people are the 2:02 people are electrified by this and it's no slight whatsoever to Joe Biden I mean Joe Biden was doing everything that he possibly could at his age but I think there was just a hunger for Democrats and a desperation for energy for enthusiasm and it's tough to get that out of an 81y old guy you know it's tough to get it out of a 78y old guy in in Donald Trump and and you know Donald Trump as we can obviously tell is going much slower he's not doing the the rallies and the events and the types of things playing a lot more golf because naively he thinks that he had it in the bag when Joe Biden was was running for for reelection now that kamla Harris is in he because of his kind of his inbuilt racism and misogyny he just assumes that he's going to win because kamla is not able to to win a presidential race how wrong he is Ron he's very wrong uh you 3:03 know I think he really thought he had it in the bag after the debate and then the shooting you know he really believed that the shooting was gonna Propel him yeah to to Victory and that he had it in the bag and and and and what did he do after that I mean he wasn't really badly injured he did nothing I mean he just got off the campaign Trail started playing golf was resting on his Laurels and then uh you know this happened and then he immed mediately set up this North Carolina rally he's doing today that was not on his schedule but he decided he needed to get his butt off the golf course or his campaign advisers did uh look you know I don't talk polling I don't pay attention to it I just feel the energy and and I know that all of those undecided moderate voters were out there who said we don't want to vote for Trump but we don't think Biden can do four more years I just got to feel that those people are taking a fresh look at KLA Harris and by the way she's having a great week she really 4:04 is I I just want to kind of elay fears that because there was a lot of conspiracy theories put out by the far right that uh Joe Biden was forced out and that you know his his Puppet Masters made this decision for him and I don't believe any of that to be true I think that you know it's so funny isn't it how people project if you're not a very good person yourself you tend to project that other people are not good people people Joe Biden is a really good person he is not a a despot he is not an egomaniac all those criticisms oh he's only running again because of his ego is just so wide of the Mark if you know anything about Joe Biden you know that is simply not true and here I think that he clearly took counsel from you know close advisors as well as his wife most importantly and they realized especially because he has covid and you know as I know from having it for 10 days recently 5:03 knocked me right out you just it it makes the idea of campaigning as hard as 5:09 he was going to have to campaign you know to to beat Donald Trump just way too much to to manage and so I think he 5:16 did absolutely the right thing a selfless decision and he's also endorsed a candidate which now because the 5:23 criticism of kamla Harris is that she hasn't done anything she's you know she's a silent partner she's a lazy VP 5:31 none of that is true but being VP is a very difficult job you can't upstage the star now she's going to open her wings 5:39 and we're going to see a very different kamla Harris now that she's been endorsed by her boss I agree and she she 5:45 has The A Team now too that that's the other thing is like when you're VP you don't get the A Team you get the B team 5:52 sometimes you don't even you don't even get the B team because the first lady gets the B Team you end up with the C team and of Staff I'm talking about 5:59 advisers and speech writers and all that now she's got the a team and she's got all the trappings of the office but I 6:05 want to go back and I do think she's going to rise to the occasion but I want to go back to Biden I mean Biden has 6:11 done has made the right choice for the party and for the country five 6:16 presidential elections in a row let's go back two real quick 2008 Barack Obama is 6:22 trying to become the first black president which is a huge ask many people thought it wouldn't happen it 6:29 wasn't going to happen um and he needs an establishment and he and he also 6:35 didn't have a lot of experience in Washington he needed an Old Guard establishment white guy let's face it to 6:42 balance that out to ask the American people to elect the first black president and Joe Biden stepped up and 6:48 was willing to do that and then stuck by him then let's not forget in 6:54 20156 he he wanted to run for president I mean and he was Brock's VP and and 7:00 that would have been a nasty expensive difficult primary between him and Hillary yeah but he 7:07 stepped aside for Hillary and and that was hard for him to do that was painful 7:13 for him to do but it was the right thing for him to do for the party arguably and 7:19 and for the country so then he comes out of retirement in 2020 to take on Trump 7:26 which he didn't need to do and and that and that brought up all kinds of stuff with Hunter and everything else that 7:33 didn't would never have happened had he not done this and and he truly stayed in this because he did truly honestly 7:40 believe that he was the right person to to take on Trump again but then when 7:46 reality set in and he sort of did some soul searching and got covid and was at home in his thoughts he changed his mind 7:54 so I think five straight presidential elections in a row Joe Biden put the 7:59 country ahead of himself tonight he will be addressing the nation and so hopefully he's you know well enough to 8:05 do that but it kind of doesn't matter anymore now you know he he actually said that I now want to just focus on running 8:11 the country which you know we're all grateful for we should not forget that K Harris has now not just been endorsed by 8:18 Joe Biden hakee Jeff um the the Senate 8:23 leader um as well the Hillary Clinton has come out and and lent her 8:30 support I haven't really seen anybody apart from Barack Obama who's kind of playing his cards close to his chest but 8:37 of course he's going to come out for her you know once she wins the nomination and maybe we should explain to people 8:42 the process now of kamla Harris winning the nomination because the conference the Democratic conference will be in or 8:48 the convention will be in August there's two ways of doing it isn't there there's a vote or a roll call just explain that 8:55 yeah well uh she's already secured the votes of the delegat who have already switched see there is no nominee people 9:02 people are saying like Joe Biden is the nominee and he stepped down there's no nominee until the convention yeah you 9:09 have to be nominated and then the delegates vote and they're supposed to vote according to what was voted on in 9:16 the primary but since that candidate has said I don't want you to vote for me I'm 9:21 releasing you and I would like you to vote for KLA Harris that's what they're free to do so 9:28 there's no ballot issues I saw the Republican party is planning on filing some kind of frivolous lawsuit uh about 9:35 the money saying that Harris can't uh take over the campaign account which is ridiculous because she's part of the 9:41 campaign uh was part of the original campaign account so so yes it's the convention is going to go very smoothly 9:48 everyone has endorsed comma the delegates are free to switch their votes and um the only person like you like you 9:55 said prominent person that I can think of is Barack Obama but but I think I 10:00 think number one I think he was probably not wanting to influence anybody else I 10:06 think he wanted everybody else to come to their own own conclusion and I think it also would have given off that 10:12 perception that he's the king maker controlling things behind the scen and he didn't want to bid's Biden's Puppet 10:18 Master that's what the Yeah that's the last thing he wanted to do of course and also you know B um Obama is is very much 10:25 the kind of the box office ticket isn't he and you really need to say sa him for nearer the end because when he comes out 10:32 everybody listens and so I think it's a good thing to kind of you know keep him hold him back just a little bit and he 10:38 knows that you know he's not stupid he knows he's a bit like Jesus wherever wherever he goes people are completely 10:44 taken by him I really do think his election I was thinking about it this morning you know the the 2008 and just 10:51 what a what a moment that was and how it felt and I think that if kamla Harris 10:56 was to win the election in November it is going to feel the same only more 11:01 because of course this this notion that she's not just a a black person but a 11:06 female person too and when you put those together a black female that is like 11:12 that is blowing the glass ceiling into into the into The Ether and Le let's 11:19 talk about how the Maga Republicans have been handling that because they are not happy about this for a start uh Donald 11:26 Trump has been rage tweeting in the middle of the night about it or truth thing I should say and a lot of his 11:32 surrogates and a lot of the the Senators and Congress people have been coming out and claiming that she is a a Dei hire 11:41 and they are very much going down the race issue and the mogyy issue they are 11:47 really now going to show their true colors aren't they yes and that was 11:52 another reason why I thought she would be a good very the best replacement for 11:57 Joe Biden among a lot of other things because after the debate when all the Firestorm happened you know we had a lot 12:03 of internal discussions at Midas between us and I think we all came to the 12:09 consensus that you know we each each one of us had our favorite person if Joe decided not to run that we wanted we all 12:15 had different people but but I felt that you know if it was kamla knowing Maga 12:22 and Trump like I do and how racist and misogynist they are I thought she would 12:27 bring out the worst in them she would bring out the V the most vile 12:32 nasty disgusting sides of them because they wouldn't be able to resist they would 12:38 try they would try to be be good but they're not capable of it and and what I 12:43 told the guys is when when she was the pick I said look we are going to put out 12:48 every nasty disgusting comment and clip that they everything that they say that's nasty we're going to put it out 12:55 because we want people to see exactly who these people are because it's all going to come out and it's going to be 13:01 even worse than during Obama it made me realize you know I don't think America 13:06 is racist and misogynistic to the tune that the Republican leadership are and I 13:12 you know we talk about being misrepresented I think Republican leadership I think Republican 13:18 newscasters people who hold power the reason they got that power in the first place is because of their just you know 13:25 by nature of the types of people they are and invariably that goes hand in hand and with with being bigoted in some 13:31 way let's start with the clip of sha Hannity of course he's very much leading the charge on this isn't he he really is 13:38 quite a disgusting creature this is what he has to say about this whole thing as of tonight now tonight also the 13:43 Democratic party you need to understand what's happening here this is kamla's 13:49 honeymoon period She is experiencing a sugar high a re you know a feeling of 13:55 relief and enthusiasm that the guy that can't walk and talk that stayed and Confused the guy that mumbles and 14:02 bumbles and stumbles oh thank God it's not him it's it's a honeymoon it's a 14:08 sugar high but mark my words it will be short 14:13 lived short lived or or shortlived Sean Hannity yeah he's um first of all 14:20 there's two things here about Hannity number one he's uh Trump's therapist you 14:26 know he's probably the show that Trump watches the most on Fox he watches it 14:31 pretty religiously every night in and fox and friends in the morning and so 14:36 you know he's talking to Trump right there he's talking to two to to his audience obviously he's trying to give 14:42 Trump a little therapy because Trump has been pretty stressed out he's saying don't worry everything's gonna be fine this will all die down and also his 14:50 audience Hannity's audience he has the oldest demographic in the fox audience 14:55 like his average viewer is like white dude 74 years years old that's that's the Hannity viewer he almost has no 15:02 viewers under 60 and so those old white dudes are all freaking out at the 15:08 prospect of a comma Harris presidency too so so again he's like talking them down off the ledge he's saying you know 15:15 I know there's all this energy happening right now on the Democratic side but everything's going to be fine it's a 15:20 Sugar High I mean to some extent sugar highs happen in politics in these kinds 15:26 of situations but I don't think that that's going to be the case here I I feel like the momentum is just going to 15:32 keep building but there's only a 100 days Ron I mean that's the other thing right it's so late in the campaign to 15:38 switch out the candidate and whilst that might be a gigantic risk in some elections it isn't in this election 15:45 because the the the really I think you're right what you said at the beginning Joe Biden was doing his 15:51 absolute best but at the end of the day it was very hard to get excited about him and and carela Harris has you know 15:59 gives people every reason to get excited what I find interesting though is that people Maga Republicans and I'm going to 16:06 show a clip of a of a of another Congress person in a moment they cannot get their head around why people like 16:12 you and I talk about the importance of it being a female and a person of color 16:18 they they cannot comprehend why in America there are reasons to really push 16:26 the race and gender of a candidate in this way and and if you don't understand 16:32 if you don't understand the importance of it at this moment in history then you're probably a little bit racist and 16:39 misogynist they don't understand uh they don't think it should be a factor in any way I don't think it should be of course 16:45 the main factor it's not like you're just grabbing some random black woman to run two things can be two things can be 16:51 true this is the thing so I think it is the main factor but I think that you can't argue that she's not up to the job 16:59 she's already been the vice president she was the da California prosecutor she's had these great jobs that for a 17:06 person of color and for a female to get to those positions you have to be twice 17:11 as good as the men in order to to get to that position that's who she is and so that's why for my money sorry to 17:18 interrupt you but I obviously very passionate about this that that you have to push the fact that her her race and 17:24 her gender is as important as her ability to do the job to things can be equally 17:31 true well I don't I don't know I don't know if I'd go that far I really don't I I don't think you're you're a former 17:37 Republican so I don't see the campaign doing that either I I don't I don't see 17:43 the campaign making it the feature of the campaign her her race and gender no 17:48 no but she is saying in her speeches you know I've watched three speeches in the last 48 hours and and she talks about it 17:54 she is proud of it and I I have no I agree with that I mean I think she 17:59 should be doing that yeah but I don't think you should I don't think that the main thrust of the campaign should be we 18:05 have to elect a black woman no no I'm not I'm not saying that either but I'm saying that it's important to recognize 18:11 the significance and I think people that look back on 2008 and think about how it 18:17 CH how America changed in the election of a black man that you know that's what 18:22 we're talking about level of change you know I think what you can bring to the table is that her life experiences and 18:28 her pers perspective on America is different and and is it and and reflects 18:34 all of America or or more diverse section or a more underrepresented section of America look I I think I 18:41 think you also can talk about that in the context of the whole Administration I mean what we saw and I've tried to 18:47 pound this recently especially since kamla has been the candidate is that the 18:53 Trump Administration was all white men it was all white men top to bottom at every level 18:59 not just cabinet positions but all all the way down the line and the bid Administration is so incredibly diverse 19:06 and and again all those people bring into that executive office building and The West Wing all of their diverse life 19:14 experiences from every corner of the country and that was not the case with the Trump Administration let's take a 19:19 look at another Congress person giving their uh the Republican giving their kind of version of events take a look 19:26 well I think she's one of the weakest candidates I've ever seen in the the history of our country uh I I mean 19:31 intellectually just really kind of the bottom of the barrel and from the standpoint of just uh who she is and the 19:39 policies the positions that she's taken uh her failure to do anything in terms of the border that sort of thing I think 19:46 it's just a failure from top to bottom uh I think she was a Dei hire and I think that that's what we're seeing and 19:52 I just don't think that they have anybody else I just think that they're in real disarray 19:59 it's just so obvious you know when you hear them talk it's like it's just not even serious anymore do you know when on 20:06 on the day that this news broke Ben and I came on here and we did a we did a live show and you know he was talking 20:13 about why it is that the media isn't calling out or has never traditionally called out this type of stuff and 20:19 Trump's crazy postings and everything and I I had this idea that maybe in the back of everybody's Minds including the 20:26 networks and journalists and whoever's behind this coverage that they don't really think of trump as a serious 20:33 candidate that he's kind of a joke candidate he's become a pasti of himself 20:39 and that you know America is not going to choose somebody who has a record as 20:44 he did of his four years where the country was a was a disaster and I think 20:49 that there's some truth in that now going forward that anything that these Maga Republicans come out and say it 20:55 just because of kamla Harris and who she is is and how this has happened and the level of support for her when they say 21:02 stuff like she's just not up to it and she's a bad candidate it just sounds 21:08 even more ridiculous and so they're doing themselves a disservice yeah well 21:14 I think that the the professionals here the advisers recognize this problem I 21:19 mean we saw Mike Johnson uh put out a memo to people telling them to stop 21:25 doing this this is not helping us you know do not go after her on the basis of her race and gender this is not helpful 21:33 I think that the higher ups in the in the Trump campaign are fully aware of that but they can't control their people 21:39 they have no control over over these people that are like Harriet Hagman who 21:44 you know when they say Dei hire I mean you can substitute the n-word or or black you know that and then and then 21:51 you get what they're really saying and that's what she's she's just saying she's only vice president because she's 21:56 black yeah but you know by the way Harriet hagaman replaced Liz Cheney okay 22:02 who was immensely more qualified and more intelligent than Harriet hagaman 22:08 who was a nobody who was a low-level staffer uh who who is only in that 22:15 position because Liz Cheney stood up to Donald Trump that's the only reason Harriet hagaman is even able to give 22:21 that interview is because she sucked up to Trump when Liz Cheney would not and 22:26 here she is talking about Harris's qualifications unbelievable we're going to hear and discover that that the Maga 22:33 Republican response to this candidate is going to be the one trick pony that 22:39 helps them to lose the election yeah because they they can't shake it off whether they are you know whether they 22:45 have racism in their bones or whether they have chauvinism in their bones you 22:51 know I just maintain that it's not the public that are the people that are you 22:57 know too too racist and and misogynistic for kamla Harris to succeed it's not the 23:03 public it's these leaders they're so institutionalized into a world of old 23:10 white men that it's too much of a stretch for them meanwhile just go into the workplace see go to the grocery 23:17 store see what real life is like and you and you'll understand why America is ready for kamla Harris and and you know 23:25 they're also coming out with this attack line that she quote unquote slept her way to the top you know that she had 23:32 wealth wealthy well-connected boyfriends when she was younger that helped her sort of move up the food chain you know 23:39 which is you know it's just so insulting and repulsive and and objectionable this 23:45 is an accomplished woman this is an intelligent woman it's just and and to and I think this is just TR look Trump's 23:52 worst demographic was Suburban women I mean aside from black women just Suburban women in General even white 23:59 women in the last election it's what cost him the election in 2020 was Suburban women and this is the tactic 24:07 that they're going to use she slept Her Way to the Top This is Gonna this is going to help them win back those lost 24:12 Suburban women vote uh I don't understand what they're doing it's going to expose Trump and his people as being 24:19 so old-fashioned and so out of touch and and it's you know they're actually going 24:25 to they'll they'll lose the election for themselves I really don't think they know how to handle this uh Steven Miller 24:31 one of Trump's big advisers is literally SCH smelting at this this news let's 24:37 take a look at him they held a primary people they had ballots they filled out circles they went to the voting booth 24:44 they spent money on advertisements and as president Trump said the the the 24:49 Republican Party spent tens of millions of dollars running against Joe Biden now they just woke up one morning and said 24:55 never mind we're canceling the entire primary we're we're getting rid of our 25:00 candidate and we're pretending the election has never even happened and we're going to let donors handick a new nominee 25:07 they're this is my new thing now anytime we come out the back of a video like 25:12 that a rle they just can't they can't keep it together Ron I mean you there's 25:19 a couple things here number one you hear the panic and the fear I mean this was 25:24 his reaction like the night that this all happened that was the clip and he's just complete in because they have this 25:31 whole Playbook gamed out for two years to run against Biden you know he's scile 25:37 he's this you know the clip clips of him walking shuffling around I mean they had this whole plan and they had all these 25:43 commercials in the can and all these clips and ads ready to go and what they're upset about is that that all 25:51 just the whole rug just got pulled out from under them and they're having to shift gears four months out and they 25:57 don't they don't know what to do they don't have a plan so that's the first part of that clip but the second part is 26:05 this the Republicans are are obsessing over supposedly how unfair this process 26:11 was and how she's anointed and all of this and that the bottom line is American public does not care every poll 26:19 shows this they don't care about the process of how the Democrats arrived at their candidate what the polls showed is 26:27 that the American public overwhelmingly wanted different candidates they did not 26:32 want Trump and they did not want Biden they wanted Fresh Faces they wanted somebody new and they don't care how we 26:40 got here they're just glad we're here the the issue um I just want to say 26:47 two things actually I watched one of her speeches this morning I think it was live and she said a great thing you know 26:54 she talked about project 2025 and I'm so pleased that she's already starting to talk about that this this uh insane plan 27:02 to to bring down American institutions and rebuild them in the image of Donald Trump terrifying Heritage Foundation 27:09 authored 900 pages of crazy far-right Christian nationalist propaganda so 27:14 she's talking about it she said this great line she goes can you believe they wrote it down and I thought that was 27:21 really clever the fact that you know normally you find this stuff out by stealth but she made the point that the 27:29 Republicans have actually written it down they are telling us who they are they are telling us what they plan to do 27:35 and she is going to rinse them over this I'm sure of it you know I also think 27:40 that they did this and they came out with that agenda 47 in response to the 27:46 criticism they they they were aware that the criticism of trump was that he didn't have any policies and he didn't 27:53 have a policy agenda last time but he wasn't expecting to win and he didn't have one this time and so they went to 28:00 this thing they went to Heritage and they got these guys together and they said we need policies you know crank 28:07 crank some out for us and they did and then they they put them up on their website you know and they were all PR 28:13 look we got policy now and then the H the fan yeah when people read the 28:19 policy they're like holy crap look at all this stuff in here and now they're like oh wait a minute wait a minute no 28:25 no no that's not our policy well they tried to Rebrand it didn't they they were like it's not project 202 2025 28:32 agenda 47 right the same thing but but Donald Trump hasn't read either of them 28:37 this is the thing he's just not interested he doesn't know any of it this is why I always wanted him to be 28:43 asked policy questions yeah uh from from his agenda 47 and I I've on Twitter 28:50 listed many questions that come straight from his policy stuff I've been i' I've been doing that for two years now nobody 28:57 ever asks him policy questions but yeah he you couldn't if you went you know line by line through his own agenda 47 29:05 he he couldn't tell you anything about any of it wouldn't it be nice if instead of them having to Pivot to attack kamla 29:13 Harris instead of attacking Joe Biden that they just presented their policies and said this is what we stand for and 29:20 allow people to vote for for them right remember like in the olden days of a of a democracy you know you know the funny 29:27 thing is like I you know they're still attacking Joe Biden yeah like every day I laugh you know I I watch their shows 29:34 and their media and their social media and they're going they're criticizing Biden for this and that and I'm like go 29:40 ahead like let him be the lightning rod let all your energy continue to be on 29:46 Biden while Kel is over here winning you know it it's it feels really good at the 29:52 moment you know it just feels like something is going to shift or has shifted and I think you know to to 29:59 really try and encapsulate the mood is Vance it's just been one horrible disaster after another 36:41 that has happened on the campaign Trail do you think that I mean a is he able to 36:47 switch him out and B do you think he will no um weird to have a guy whose 42:46 first job was at his dad's law firm and inherited the governorship from his father criticized my origin story like 42:54 yes nobody gave me the governorship and nobody gave me a job because my father was I'm proud of that he said nobody 43:00 gave me the governorship and nobody gave me a job because of who my father was I'm proud of that obviously a reference 43:05 to to your own father what's your response to those comments from Senator Vance well what was weird was him joking 43:12 about racism today and and and then talking about diet Mountain Dew who who drinks Diet Mountain Dew but in all 43:19 seriousness he he ain't from here he is not from Kentucky listen this is a guy 43:24 who would come maybe in the Summers for some period of time or to weddings or funerals and then he claims to be from 43:31 Eastern Kentucky tries to write a book about it to profit off our people and then he calls us lazy and this makes me 43:38 angry but it especially makes me angry about our people in Eastern Kentucky listen these are the hardworking coal 43:44 miners that powered the Industrial Revolution that helped build the strongest middle class the world has 43:50 ever seen helped us win two world wars and he called them lazy acting like he 43:57 understands our culture and he's one of us he's not now this is a guy who went out to Silicon Valley that's trying to 44:05 be an every man he ain't one of us how do you think it's it's pretty easy to criticize 44:12 J Vance isn't it there's quite a lot to go on well yeah I mean I I think what he's 44:18 saying here is is pretty evident which is the fact that JD 44:24 Vance wants to make it that like that he understands the white working class the 44:29 white world working class because he came from there but but here's here's 44:35 the thing he never went back okay after he joins the Marines and goes off to 44:40 Yale and goes to college he never came back into that Community he went to Silicon Valley he went to go work for 44:47 Peter teal Andy Basher never left that Community never left those areas he Dove 44:54 himself he does the work he goes into those small towns and those small communities every single day week after 45:02 week I follow him on TW I followed him for years on Twitter he's constantly posting things of him in in little 45:09 businesses in the middle of nowhere or helping people pick up trash after a storm JD Vance has never done those 45:15 things and that that's what this man is saying that's why I said Andy Basher is 45:21 in reality the man that JD Vance pretends to be 45:27 it's it's very interesting isn't it that JD Vance is one of those shape shifters right somebody who who thinks that they 45:34 can assimilate and people are going to buy it but you know people who are from 45:39 there they they can feel it and and so so many people are going to call him out 45:45 as a as a phony I I want so I mentioned that Andy Basher is is one of the potential VP piics um and I I want to 45:52 talk about that in just a second first I just want to highlight one final thing about JD V and this is where he goes on 45:58 on Hannity and claims that women who haven't given birth like Kamala Harris are childless cat ladies here it is 46:06 saying is that we're effectively run in this country via the Democrats via VIA our corporate oligarchs by a bunch of 46:13 childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they've made and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable too 46:19 and it's just a basic fact you look at kamla Harris Pete Budaj AOC the entire 46:25 future of the Democrats is controll controlled by people without children and how does it make any sense that we've turned our country over to people 46:31 who don't really have a direct stake in it yeah well there's there's 46 previous 46:39 presidents who've not given birth either but that's not the point the point is that that to say this stuff out loud is 46:45 so offensive to everybody up and down the country females and feminists alike 46:51 and and also kamla Harris we should say is known by her step kids and family as mamala 46:57 so you know that puts pain to that story this is this has been a right-wing 47:02 Canard for a long time uh this this narrative I've heard it many times over 47:08 the years whether it's at Charlie Kirk events or different or CPAC events this 47:14 is not new he's just reflecting and he's just saying out loud what many of them 47:20 say in their conferences which is that their belief that all women in America 47:28 all women should have give birth who are medically able they should do it early 47:35 and they should do it often and if you don't do that you're not really 47:40 fulfilled as a human and as a woman and therefore you certainly should not hold 47:46 elective office because what they argue is that the fact that you don't have 47:51 children makes you bitter and nasty and unhappy with your life therefore or you 47:57 have no business be holding elective office this is what he's saying that is 48:02 why it is so revolting and so offensive and so ridiculous and November it's I mean it's just disgraceful it's just like the handmaid's tale I mean that that really 48:27 is the the this dystopian future that they're planning for with project 2025 48:33 and the and these extremist views like JD Vance has it is a world that is so 48:40 far removed from reality and yet they're convinced that it's the right thing for 48:45 America they really have no idea how smart and and thoughtful and Progressive 48:52 American people are as a whole because they live and circulate in these bubbles I I've become a little bit of a um 48:59 stalker just a silent stalker I haven't posted anything following Alina hub's Instagram which I find completely 49:06 fascinating now you'll know more about this than me because you and you know where I'm going with this don't you she 49:11 surrounds herself I don't she if you were to look at her Instagram you wouldn't even know 49:16 that she's in politics right all of them you're absolutely right we could go from 49:22 every every woman that's in Trump's orbit or on his campaign team with the exception of suie Wilds the top person 49:29 but everybody else if you follow their Instagram yes it's it's like their their Instagram models right that they they're 49:36 always in like two piece bikinis they're always beautifully PR nails and toes and 49:44 eyebrows and eyelashes they've all they all seem to have had their boobs done they've all seemed to kind of had you 49:51 know Botox and looking looking so overly perfect and living these kind of fake 49:58 Instagram lives where everything is a selfie and everything is like happy happy happy and they've all got 2.4 kids 50:05 and they've all got handsome husbands and they're all like celebrating their own success and they're mostly they are 50:12 white and they are wealthy and they're living in a Florida bubble it's indistinguishable from like 50:20 following a Kardashian or a Paris Hilton or or any of those influencer Instagram 50:26 uer types there's no difference between following them and a and a and a trump lawyer you know or a trump campaign 50:33 official or spokesperson he chooses them often his his new National spokesperson 50:40 he just hired was uh an actress and a model that's her experience I mean she's 50:46 she's a greatl looking woman and that appears to be the reason why he chose her yeah and that appears to be the 50:52 reason why he chooses attorne how he chooses his attorneys yeah and and it's just he doesn't do that with men you 50:59 know he doesn't he doesn't he doesn't surround himself with like attractive men it's only the women and uh so you're 51:05 right I mean when you follow them on social media I guess that it's hard for me to kind of convey that it really is 51:11 just like following any other Instagram influencer rather than a lawyer it's it's so weird and but also it's it's the 51:19 tunnel vision for what America should look like and they think that that kind of lifestyle and that look ideal is the 51:26 ideal and I think this is something that permeates through the kind of Christian 51:31 Nationalist and and and far-right Maga Republican movement at the leadership level is that because you know here's 51:40 the thing Ron the the the people that attend Trump rallies do not look like that you 51:47 know no I've I've certainly covered uh a couple hundred Trump rallies that is not 51:52 the case right so it's it's a very interesting divide between the Haves and 51:58 the Have Nots and and I I find it completely fascinating but it is not a 52:04 vote winner and it is a minority group and it is therefore makes Trump a 52:09 minority candidate and you know JD Vance fits right in with that lot um let's 52:15 talk about Elon Musk and this announcement about the funding being withdrawn because you know he has laid 52:21 his cards on his table kind of very recently and I I've been predicting or we've been predicting for while that he 52:27 was going to come out for Donald Trump in full and of course he has but uh he 52:32 suggested that $45 million a month was the amount that he was going to invest in the Trump campaign just tell us about 52:38 this latest news well it's been you know really interesting to watch this whole thing 52:45 play out which has played out over the last 10 days which is yes we figured he 52:50 was probably going to come out and endorse Trump but he he also said that he wasn't going to give it any money and 52:58 then he got caught up in the moment there after the rally shooting and he 53:04 announced minutes later on Twitter that he was endorsing him and and then the 53:10 The Wall Street Journal did this story that he was gonna put 45 million a month into the pack then yesterday Fortune 53:19 Magazine breaks this story which says no no apparently musk is backing off of 53:25 this and he's not doing this so when this was first posted last night it was pretty hilarious but Ma the Maga people 53:32 were all pushing back saying oh no no no no this is fake news this isn't true uh 53:37 you know he is gonna give he what what he's saying is he's not going to give that to the campaign he's goingon to give it to the pack well you can't 53:44 donate that much money to a campaign it's over the the the spending limits the the contribution limits you can only 53:51 give that much to a pack so it was always a pack deal it was never to the campaign so I knew that that was just BS 53:58 what they were saying but you know we didn't hear from musk last night so musk today was a guest of Benjamin Netanyahu 54:05 at his joint address he was in Congress this morning and got cornered in the hall by an ABC reporter who pinned him 54:12 down on this and said hey are you given the $45 million a month or not and he said absolutely not so so the question 54:20 is was he planning to do this and then he backed off after the KLA Harris thing 54:25 happened because now he's not sure if Trump is going to win or was the whole thing just made up you know there's a 54:33 lot of different ways you could go with conjecture it's very interesting I I heard him talking about his his trans 54:39 daughter and how he was so AG grieved at the idea he was referring to her as dead 54:46 because this is what you know sometimes is used the rhetoric is used in the trans community that your your your 54:52 former um name and therefore your former personality has has has died and you are 54:57 now you know you've taken hold of your of your new uh identity and he was so 55:03 grieved by this and referred to his son as being dead and not acknowledging his his trans daughter and he said something 55:09 I forget the words maybe you can remind me but he said something about he wanted to make it his mission to kind of stamp 55:16 out the the wokeness that that instigated this and and that was very telling for 55:23 me that clearly this was very personal to him that that in a way part of the 55:29 reason why he wanted to kind of support Trump and fund Trump was because he felt that this the wokeness that had caused 55:35 his daughter's transgenderism was the reason why he was going to kind of get into into bed with Donald Trump do do 55:41 you think they're connected I I think that that's definitely part of it um because this is not the first time he's 55:47 talked about this uh I think that that did have a big impact on him I think 55:53 like a lot of a lot of people like him they want to control everything in their lives including their children and the 55:59 people around them and sometimes you just can't and I think he felt like his 56:04 son at the time you know he he felt like he should have be able to make that 56:09 decision for his son who did not who who did not want who wanted to transition 56:14 who was trans and I think that he was so revolted or upset or disappointed in 56:20 that rather than just embracing his daughter and and who she 56:25 is he decided to go in a completely different direction to where they haven't spoken to each other in many 56:31 many years and they hate each other really and and that and that's sad it's sad that he's become this twisted uh 56:38 Angry person driven by hatred and and it's led him to really to purchase 56:45 Twitter to to bankroll people like Libs of Tik Tock whose entire account is 56:50 geared towards attacking trans people yes uh you know it's it's it's really sad but I think there's more to his 56:56 support for Trump including like tax breaks and there's a lot that musk wants from the US government yeah well control 57:03 as well there's more to it than that yeah you don't pay 44 billion for for Twitter and not want to have some 57:10 control over people's thoughts and I do think that you know musk's thinking yes 57:17 he's a you know very good at driving these businesses forward and Tesla and SpaceX and everything else but a certain 57:26 amount of insanity goes with that you know it's almost like who else would be crazy enough to do some of the things 57:32 that that Elon Musk has done and and and it's not always good crazy there's often a lot of bad CRA that with Steve Jobs I 57:39 mean it's same same kind of deal where jobs didn't invent you know the Mac I mean or the iPhone other people did but 57:47 he was the driving force behind the business model and look his personal life was kind of a little bit of a mess 57:53 too and he had a very EST strange relationship with his daughter so there's now I don't I don't think jobs 57:59 is like musk in any way I think he's he was a not a great human but a better human I think overall than musk but but 58:07 you do see the similarities between these quirky big Tech guys having all these problems in their in their private 58:13 lives yeah I would correct you on a couple of things because I'm a little bit obsessed with Steve Jobs is that he did invent the mac and the iPhone he he 58:21 did invent the mac and the iPhone all right we'll argue but that's okay no that's fine but you're AB abely right you're talking about his relationship 58:27 with Lisa he created an operating system uh uh in her in her name but most 58:32 interestingly about Steve Jobs which I think where there is a comparison is that when he got pancreatic cancer he 58:39 refused traditional scientific medicine he did because he felt that he had a more of a holistic way of dealing with 58:45 it and unfortunately probably would still be alive now if he if he had uh you know listen to to the scientists and 58:52 the doctors I mean I'm a Steve Jobs fan by the way I should say that I know you also have a Mac now as well I was 58:59 even more so now right yeah right exactly I just want W to get a little a little love here that's I I was I was 59:05 this is just an aside but I was on the radio in England the night that Steve Jobs it was announced that he' passed 59:10 away and I did a 45 minute eulogy without any written or supportive 59:16 they're all great I mean I'd be happy with any of them I think they each have 1:02:01 pluses and minuses you know things that they bring to the table uh as far as Basher goes look it's the obvious the 1:02:09 fact that what what what is what is kamla and what was Joe Biden's worst 1:02:15 demographic rural white workingclass voters we know that so if he could pick up a few if she can pick up a few points 1:02:22 in that area this election's over I mean that Donald Trump has to win those by like 1:02:28 80% and and I think this is this is Basher you know Basher has proven that 1:02:33 he's one of the only Democrats and there's not many who can win rural white 1:02:39 Southern voters not just rustbelt voters not not just rural white Michigan 1:02:45 Wisconsin voters Southern voters he trounced two different Trump endorsed 1:02:52 candidates in rural counties in Kentucky by big margins twice so in that and and 1:03:01 you know he's a good-look guy he speaks well he's down to earth he's friendly he's likable all of that stuff probably the negative is is he ready you know we we saw him in that interview he was a little bit stiff he had his lines that he wanted to deliver but they weren't delivered smoothly you know is he ready for a national stage that we don't know so what I would say about Basher but I I mean honestly I've Loved Basher for a long time that's probably my first choice but I'm also happy with the others I I would say about him and and maybe some of the others too that think about who they're standing next to because kamla Harris is gregarious and she is you know very confident and she's a very energized person and a very natural person that's the other thing you never think that she's faking it you know she's totally being herself which is very difficult to do but she's had a lifetime of experience and and putting 1:04:02 someone like Andy Basher next to her he is a little bit like a a wooden doll you know and and he needs maybe another five 1:04:10 years doing this or getting a little media training or something or just learning to shake it out and so My worry 1:04:17 is he will look more wooden next to Kamala yeah I mean I guess the comparison of that would be like Al Gore 1:04:23 with Clinton you know like Bill Clinton was the the same kind of a personality yeah and Al Gore was more the stiff 1:04:30 academic you know kind of guy so I think that maybe you know yeah you're always looking to sort of contrast yourself 1:04:36 from somebody else but I I get what you're saying I mean I'm not sure that he's ready either he might need to 1:04:41 experience like a primary 2028 something like that uh before he's ready you know 1:04:47 that's certainly possible my my preference at the moment is Pete Buddha jedge I'm sure that might change but the reason I say it is because he is so 1:04:55 highly intelligent and is so incredibly um articulate and I think being 1:05:02 articulate at speed is really important not just for the VP debates but you know 1:05:08 as a as a supportive candidate going in being able to kind of articulate the the policies and he never gets tongue tied 1:05:15 or confused he is a very very slick operator but then there's the ne the 1:05:20 question which is embarrassing for me to have to announce but there it is that people are saying is americ America 1:05:26 ready for an outwardly gay vice president I mean the guy's married with Children Pete's 1:05:33 gay I I think I think I think there's a few Pro I mean that that's an OB you 1:05:38 know the obvious issue is look Barack Obama was asking America to elect him as the first black president and he smartly 1:05:47 balanced that out by taking an old white guy from DC you know right to say look you know you only got to vote for one 1:05:54 radical you know yeah uh and I think that kamla is probably thinking the same thing you know which is I'm going to be 1:06:02 like the first female president the first black woman president and I'm gonna have a gay running mate that might 1:06:08 be a bit much to ask people to go for um but uh look Pete everything you said 1:06:13 about Pete is absolutely true and I again I also think he's an excellent candidate down the road I think probably 1:06:20 that the other negatives besides what we just talked about is the fact that he's from inside the administration so now 1:06:25 you're talking about two people from inside the bid Administration instead of one inside one out and uh look he's 1:06:31 never won a big election you know he he he was the mayor of a of a you know a small City but that's it you know he has 1:06:39 never won like a Statewide race or a congressional race so that's also an issue it's so frustrating that we always 1:06:45 have to bear in mind America's Prejudice that that is you know it's always a 1:06:50 consideration baked in right baked in such a shame um Kelly I forget his first 1:06:57 name who who tell me about him oh yeah Mark Kelly from Arizona yeah yeah I mean 1:07:03 the plus is you know the astronaut uh obviously white guy moderate guy yeah 1:07:08 really good on foreign policy you know the other thing is um he's very uh 1:07:15 strong on Israel supporter and you know if there's one thing and and now this is 1:07:21 the same with Shapiro I'll say uh is that the if there's one part of the 1:07:27 democratic base that is nervous about Harris it's the Jewish the Jewish contingent because you know she the fact 1:07:34 she has a Jewish husband yeah I know her husband's Jewish and then if she takes airo yeah it's like a Jewish husband and 1:07:41 a Jewish running mate uh but uh but no I mean she's made some statements in the past that are not where she's just not 1:07:48 completely Allin on supporting Israel and I I think that they although she supports the Biden policy but I I think 1:07:55 that there's some concern there and I think that you know you take a guy like Kelly who's very pro-israel that's gonna 1:08:02 but of course that could also alienate part of the base but the other the other big part of course is Arizona you know 1:08:08 he's he's won he won Arizona in in by a pretty big margin in the senate race uh 1:08:14 and Arizona is a critical state for both candidates uh and so I think that he 1:08:20 could really really help help uh KLA do very well in Arizona so so I think that 1:08:26 that's another Plus for him anyone else from the list take your fancy well you know we got Shapiro of of course the 1:08:33 Pennsylvania governor who I think is another great choice uh very bright very 1:08:40 well spoken obviously Pennsylvania is it all it really could come down to 1:08:46 Pennsylvania this election really really could um and it's just a critical State 1:08:52 Shapiro just won huge big in the his governor race uh he was attorney general before 1:08:59 that so obviously the the belief in the Trump camp in picking Vance Vance was 1:09:05 picked for Michigan and Pennsylvania that's why Vance was picked Trump believed that he would really help uh 1:09:13 him in those two states uh but you know I think Shapiro 1:09:18 would offset that upset upset some of that especially in Pennsylvania and he's 1:09:24 a problem Sol I would say the negative would be not well known nationally and um you know 1:09:32 not a ton of political exper no Washington experience but I you know the 1:09:37 other the other negative would be this pulling him out of that Governor's seat and that this is the same thing with Kelly you know you're taking Kelly out 1:09:44 of the out of the Senate and and that's a crucial seat same thing with Shapiro you're pulling him out of the 1:09:52 Pennsylvania governorship um and and putting that that seat at risk in a special election 1:09:59 and and that's a little dicey and I don't think they would care about that with Basher see they don't really care about the Kentucky governorship that's 1:10:06 not as important as the Arizona senate seat and the Pennsylvania Governor seat do you remember who my pick was from a 1:10:12 week or so ago Joe Biden remember yeah okay that's not 1:10:19 gonna happen well it wasn't a bad prediction the Dark Horse here by the way is Tim Waltz the governor of 1:10:25 Minnesota right um you know who who is a dark horse pick that a lot of people like I think he's a bit older though uh 1:10:32 I don't uh I think what she's looking for is somebody her age you know or younger well offset is the word you used 1:10:39 and I think that's very important Point here you know it has to you have to find a balance it has to be a white male to 1:10:46 to offset the issues for some voters about her being a black female and so 1:10:51 undoubtedly the person will fall into that category I'm I'm still keen on Pete 1:10:57 but I also am interested in Mark Kelly as a as an astronaut that whole kind of American Dream thing you know going into 1:11:04 space you know you guys love that stuff military background yeah I mean it's the 1:11:10 perfect sort of Yin and Yang here to to comma it's it's sort of like it's the 1:11:15 Barack Biden you know just that perfect where it just worked you know chemic chemistry-wise and I think I think a 1:11:23 Kelly a Kelly uh Harris ticket would be would really knock the socks off America 1:11:29 I think that they would really fall in love with both of them um I want to talk very quickly about the about the um 1:11:36 debates because uh obviously there's you know debat scheduled for kamla Harris with Donald Trump he's now backtracking 1:11:44 a little bit isn't he and he posted my debate with crooked Joe Biden the worst president in the history of the United 1:11:49 States was slated to be broadcast on fake news ABC the home of George sload douis sometime in September now that Joe 1:11:58 has not surprisingly quit the race I think the debate with whomever the radical left Democrats choose should be 1:12:04 held on Fox News rather than very biased ABC thank you 1:12:10 djt um so he's he's backpedaling now isn't he so yeah this is going to be 1:12:17 really interesting to watch this play out and I I don't see very many people talking about this subject which is are 1:12:23 we even going to have another debate and and it's not going to be a look Fox responded to this tweet by the way and 1:12:30 and put out yesterday an invitation to host the debate with Brett beay as the moderator Etc but look that's never 1:12:37 going to happen and it and and for justifiably so look Fox was involved in 1:12:43 trying to overturn the last election they were sued for it we we have all the 1:12:48 discovery showing behind the scenes how involved they were with the Trump campaign and trying to manipulate things 1:12:53 and lie there no way and they and they had to pay 787 million for that there's 1:12:58 no way that Harris is going to participate in anything involving their 1:13:04 Network when they are so over the toop in the tank for Trump and we know that people like Shan Hannity are advising 1:13:10 Trump behind the scenes why in the world would you go on their Network so that's that's not gonna happen the question is 1:13:16 is the debate that's scheduled now going to happen with Stephanopoulos and also what's going to 1:13:22 happen with the VP debates too we don't know um but I'm very doubtful I'm very 1:13:28 very you know Trump is out there saying that and then the next day he said oh 1:13:33 I'd like more than one debate with Harris yeah I I don't know I I I'd like 1:13:38 to hear your opinion too I am not sure that they will ever have a debate but 1:13:43 I'm hopeful they will because I think Harris will do very very well undoubtedly it would make great 1:13:50 television but America is not a TV show you know we're not living in The Truman 1:13:55 Show and I think that this is a really good opportunity for the Harris campaign to turn around and say screw you we 1:14:01 ain't doing any television on this on these terms because as I said at the beginning before Joe Biden's debate 1:14:09 don't legitimize Donald Trump he's an insurrectionist he's a convicted felon he's a rapist you are legitimizing his 1:14:17 candidacy by stepping into a television studio with you and having him steamroll you so I don't think Harris needs to go 1:14:25 anywhere near Donald Trump until you know the the the very kind of well 1:14:31 there's I want to ask you reason she needs to meet him at all I want to ask you your opinion of what I'll call a 1:14:37 blue andon conspiracy okay which is uh you know a Democrat Qing on so there is 1:14:43 there is a belief out there among some people that his own campaign Biden's own 1:14:48 campaign uh scheduled an early debate because they believed that it was going 1:14:54 to go badly and it would force him out with enough time to get somebody else in 1:15:00 that they intentionally sabotaged him and that's why they insisted on an early 1:15:05 debate do do you buy into any of that no politics doesn't work like that you know I think people think that politicians 1:15:13 and strategists are much cleverer than they are you know they're not really that smart if they were they'd be 1:15:19 working in in in at Nasa you know they just politics is full of of I mean call 1:15:25 it show business for ugly people right it's like a it's like an industry of people who are are just doing their best 1:15:30 but they're not smart enough to strategize two steps ahead you know they just deal they fight fires they spend 1:15:37 their lives fighting fires they they don't they don't have the the time or 1:15:42 the ability to take risks that that are that far out and I think it's very easy 1:15:48 for people who are not in politics or who've never worked in politics to have 1:15:53 conspiracy theories about how politicians are actually and and advisors are far more strategic than 1:16:00 they are everything that they are capable of they say out loud and and 1:16:05 that's that's how it goes there's there's very few Secrets yeah I tend to I tend to believe you yeah I I I don't I 1:16:12 don't think that was the the idea either but you know the same as the conspiracy 1:16:18 about you know Joe Biden being told that he has to step down no one tells the president what to do you know espe 1:16:25 especially him he's a pretty stubborn guy yeah exactly okay we only have a couple of minutes left I want to talk 1:16:31 about this uh Donald Trump line that you kind of posted and suggested that this was really important that we kind of 1:16:39 listen to this I I'll just play it and then we can discuss but you know when I was building the wall I said you have to 1:16:45 give us 28,000 soldiers and they left at me I hate when people laugh at me I hate it I hate it I 1:16:53 was so disrespectful they laugh at me we won do I think I know where you're going to 1:16:59 go with this let's let's hear it Ron every once in a while the truth comes out of Donald Trump you know it's rare 1:17:07 and you and whoever clipped that wasn't me uh really was insightful I think it 1:17:12 was probably AC who is insightful I call as my Bernie topin right because and I'm 1:17:18 Elton John right so hear you know Elton John never wrote any lyrics Bernie wrote all his lyrics gave there were mostly 1:17:25 poems Love Letters to his wife which he would give to Elton because Elton can't write and Elton you know created the 1:17:31 songs out of Bernie's lyrics you know a as and I are like this and he he he he 1:17:37 makes fun of me for saying that but you know he provides these clips because he sets me up because he knows where where 1:17:43 I want to go you know and and and look I've been saying this for years that 1:17:49 Donald Trump that the people on the left should not rage at Donald Trump they 1:17:56 shouldn't get upset they shouldn't get mad they shouldn't let him get under their skin because and then they call 1:18:03 you the snowflakes and they they love the liberal tears right and what I said 1:18:08 years ago is like we have to stop doing that because what Donald Trump loves 1:18:13 that he Revels in it the Maga movement Revels in it but what Donald Trump hates 1:18:19 is being laughed at being blowned being made fun of being the butt of a joke 1:18:24 that's what he can't stand and that's what I do with my Twitter account my whole Twitter account is not whining and 1:18:31 crying and complaining it's making fun of these people and you see him admit 1:18:36 that right there that that's the one thing that really really bothers him I 1:18:41 have a couple of things to say firstly I'm a little upset that you might be cheating on me with as that's the first 1:18:46 thing and and and second and secondly we're L and McCartney okay it's I 1:18:53 thought I was your Bromance this is not this is not what I wanted to hear what a way to let me down on the air um but 1:19:00 secondly I think you know we've talked about this before I've spoken about how if Trump was a candidate in the UK just knowing the UK media as I do they would have handled him so differently to the way the American Media handled him they would have laughed him off the podium he is ridiculous he's not the real deal he's a fake wannabe candidate he is a protect attend president he's all of those things and because the British media you know they're not for profit they're not designed in the same way that Us Media is where you know they're they're not desperate for ratings and we have some really you know some great journalists with a great sense of humor and integrity they just would have taken him down to Chinatown and it would have been so well done and that never happened here and and the key to it is laughing him off the stage and you know I I think that if the media had been different in the US they could have finished Donald Trump before his 2016 1:20:00 campaign even started and and I agree with everything you just said and and this is why the golf thing bothered me so much in the debate right because that was the perfect moment for this yes when Trump is bragging about his golf for Joe to say come on man this is your own you rigged it this is your own golf club you ain't no 22 time Champion yeah it was just the perfect moment but instead of treating him like a circus clown Joe tried to argue the point in a serious way which is this is why what we I want kamla because what what would kamla have done she would have started laughing yeah in his face yeah and he would have gotten Furious and that's what you have to do to this guy yeah I was I I often dream about how I might interview Donald Trump weird not I mean this is a bit of a weird dream and maybe I'm saying too much but one of the questions I was thinking about in my most recent dream was saying to him are you aware that the words you just said in the answer that you just gave to the previous question are really 1:21:06 simplistic don't make an awful lot of sense and to most people sound utterly ridiculous well that would have been the end of the interview oh I know he would have G by I would have sa that you would have lasted like two minutes just holding him to account and pointing out that he is not the the kind of Godlike superstar that he claims to be and and unseating him not because for political reasons but for the reasons of of of reality you know he can't string a sentence together the guy doesn't have a brain cell in his in his head that's why the bullet missed him because his brain is not even there it's like a little pee in the middle of his of his head so I feel like now is the time with kamla Harris and these debates if she does do them but she doesn't even need to do a debate to do this stuff she can do it whenever she's on the stage whenever she's making a speech she can remind people that Donald Trump is a joke and 1:22:03 and I think that that will be very very helpful and and that brings us very nicely into our final item today and that is the Republican National Convention where they tapped it all off with um a celebration of America America's strength and might with one of the most significant speakers to come in and and really close the show I'll show a clip of it you know in one hand we have Benjamin netan who's been addressing Congress today listen to this guy you lives all you scumbags all you drug dealers and all you crooked politicians need to answer one question brother what you going to do when Donald Trump and all the Trump Maniacs run wild on there it is 1:23:04 and uh it's mostly my family but they went they went wild over that clip it was mostly the Europeans who responded to that which they were just like what the hell is going on in America you know that was the reaction like is this really H Hulk Hogan he's still alive like this is what you are doing um you know every National Convention Democrat and Republican there's one there's there two goals one is to unite the party and make everybody feel good and pulling in the same direction but the main goal is to broaden out your base and and and you make the whole show and the whole production about appealing to the moderates outside your base and showing them we want you you we embrace you and we're with you so what do they do they put on Kid Rock Hulk hen Kim gilfoil 1:24:01 Donald Trump Jr this convention was in no way in no way designed to appeal to anyone outside the Maga base which blows my mind I just don't get it I don't I don't get well because they they think they got bag they they think that it's theirs to win and and these people couldn't organize a fight in a bar and so let them do their Hulk Hogan stuff you know let them do that because that's who they are that's what they think America is and you know I was thinking about that decal on the back of the truck of of Biden gagged and bound and I was thinking a that was probably very expensive and now a total waste of money but but B that is the way that they want America to to be identified as as as aggressive and as violent to incite violence and and strength and male and masculine and testosterone and machismo and all of that stuff and I don't know about you Ron but that is not the America that I live in with the women 1:25:04 having what you said the Cosmetic Surgery dressing lots of kids yeah they you're right that that's what they view that's that's the way they view America and they they they believe that the overwhelming majority of Americans are like that and you and I know that is not
