GREEN IMPACT The UK Green Investment Bank ... about the Green Investment Handbook http://www.greeninvestmentbank.com/green-impact/green-investment-handbook Peter Burgess COMMENTARY Peter Burgess | ||
Green impact ... Green Investment Handbook
The Green Investment Handbook is our manual, setting out the practical tools we use to assess, monitor and report the green impact of every investment we make. With a mission of investing in green and profitable projects it is vital that the UK Green Investment Bank has a consistent and robust means of assessing, monitoring and reporting both the green and financial performance of our investments. As the UK’s most active investor in this area we also need a way of doing that which can be applied regularly to a broad range of green investments. The Green Investment Handbook sets out the practical tools we use on a daily basis and is split into three sections: Assess, Monitor and Report. We want to publish it to share our experiences and to start a discussion across the investment community about how green impact assessment can be further improved and standardised. We welcome feedback on the Handbook.
